First, disclaimer:
Please know, that I don't have any insider information, or precognitive ability. What I have are deductive reasoning skills, something that most people seem to lack around here.
So here it is:
I think at this point it's more than likely that launch will be around early may.
Why? Today is the 24th, they haven't announced the launch date yet. The reason for this is pretty evident:
- Max won't announce until they can be very sure that the date is fixed
- Oliver has been working on a significant update this week, but it's not done yet
- the launch won't happen until this update happens and it's tested
Even if Oliver releases it today, delegates need to update. Then stress test the network, receive feedback, etc. This takes two days minimum and that's rushing it. Ideally this is a 3-4 days process.
So even if this works perfectly, we are very close to the end of april, and I assume there is tons of other stuff has to be done before launch.
And that is the best case scenario, you know, the one that never happens. It would mean that Oliver is done with the coding today. That the code is working perfectly, there is no need for bug fixing, there are no unforseen events.
So I guess you just have to accept that software development is not done by magic and it takes time, a few extra days are nothing in things like this.
Or you know, alternatively you could do what I know you are going to do. Scream, cry, shout, accuse, curse and whine. (and that is just our legendary investor Wolf Rainer, I'm sure others will have reactions too)

BTW...users of the HODL wallet can interface directly with the BE (IE, open browser tabs/windows from within the wallet) by filling in the following field in the settings UI:  The text that should go into the "Third party transaction URLs" field is: http://www.fuzzbawls.pw/explore/HOdlcoin/tx.php?tx=%sThis will add a new item to the right-click context menu in the wallet's transaction tab that will take you directly to the tx info page of the BE (wallet restart is necessary for the setting to take effect). @Fuzzbawls amazing work bro, just wow. Because I've been told by several individuals you were deleting any of their posts that question your initiative and incentives here and because the community gave a piece of their mind by not pledging also...is that enough?
First of all, I do not delete anything as it's not my thread. But from what I know, the only posts that were "deliberately" deleted were those from obvious trolls and from idiots that did not even read through the thread but pretend to know anyone's incentive ... in most cases with self-estimated and emphasized 99.9% accuracy. If those people are said "individuals" that you usually deal with, then I'd strongly recommend to rethink your social circle. Besides that, asking someone if he has a bad incentive is absolutely absurd. No matter if you ask an honest person of if you ask a shady thief whether he has any bad incentives or not, you will always get the same answer which is "no!". So asking this question in the first place is a total waste of time. i personaly are looking forward to this project. Donated a little and i wish you good luck. Very good incentive. Thx |

I think this is a really interesting plan. There definitely needs to be a system in place for Bitcoin loans. Interesting. Do you have any future plans to allow third-party lending through your system? Like user to user, with the same collateral system?

Just wanted to thank you MalReynolds for getting Delegate list together, i know for sure i will be Voting for Delegates from Official List that has proven to be able to run Lisk node with 98%+ and secure the network. really recommend to all of you to do the same. You do realize that we are on TestNet and have actually been testing our nodes, taking them down, making improvements, etc... so uptime (within reason) should not be taken into consideration. I got 2 nodes, one at 86% uptime that I have been actively testing on, and one at 100% that I just stood up and let it do it's thing. edit: also if you were one of the first to setup a node, you got the 1st build (lisk-0.1.1) and it had a small bug in it that would get you off on a fork real easy, issue fixed with (lisk-0.1.2) yes i remember fork issues on lisk-0.1.1 true, i obviously made a mistake throwing that number like just that. still plenty days to test until mainnet and imho Mals List is good indicator whom to vote. |

Important! Every ICO participant should do it! Guys I don't understand it. Why should I risk security issues again. I saved the file. Is there really the possibility that its wrong? Kidding me? With bitcoin you try to make paperwallets offline to be sure, that there is no hacking possibility and I should repeatedly risk it here? just follow rules like ma dringt koa hells ausm weisbiaglasl... crypto rules say, that you don't send unnecessarily security tokens around... so again the question. Is there ANY case, that a passphrase can be wrong in the generated file? There have been cases where people have generated multiple keys, etc. So they implemented a method to make sure you were using the correct key that you generated last. Its up to you really. If you are confident then don't do anything. Your keys will work. However, if you are not using the correct key, you are screwed. reality check: this is actually very professional approach from Lisk team since people's money is here in stakes, the way i see it and some might agree Lisk team has responsibility to do what's on their power to assure donors receive what's rightfully theirs meaning funds and secure them. They did amazingly good job with simple steps on how donors should redeem and secure they Magic words, even my kid could do it lol. After reading all those post from ppl complaining made me understand that only few are aware how huge this distribution Phase is, efforts that needs to be put into it to be handled right way are enormous! To bypass future disputes and discussions about donors who didn't manage to generate their Magic words on time seems like delay is only Logical answer. Just imagine Project of this magnitude launching on 11th April with all this mess behind would probably had catastrophic effects on further development and future healthy growth of Lisk. Now imagine LiskHQ ignores 15% (1000+ ppl) of Donors and launches on 11th and then needs to confront for months with this guys everyday, man that would slow down further progress extremely. I know i don't have nerves reading for months Post from guys popping up who missed Distribution Phase, i would rather see Lisk delayed but after Clean Launch enjoy following development and growth of this Project. I really don't understand all this talk about WAVES and other ICO's in a thread like this. This seems to me more obvious than a lot of previous ICO's to be not as good people want you to believe. I think WAVES saw the opportunity to get a lot of supporters after the succesfull previous ICO's. You always have to ask yourself: Why should someone "invade" this successful ICO thread and talk about other investment opportunities, that by the way look pretty similar to LISK's ICO. Also ask yourself: For a lie, would you take the risk to build up a really nice website, a gameplan and buy in some known people? Also aks yourself: Would you as a indepentend investor, spread the world crazy about an unique opportunity, or would you hope that not 7Million in cash is supported and you get the investment crazy undervalued? Be a investor and ask yourself these questions  Maybe WAVES is great, but there is no reason to post more WAVES related content, then LISK related content in this thread.
