You're going to need 4 million units to survive the above chart.

Also check your state's maximum personal loan interest rate.

You can just pay me half of what you would bet and you'll be better off.

It'll increase... "in two weeks"

I assume steamboat has a bunch (a boatload) of K16 stuff if anyone would like to make him an offer.

Actually, his assembly pre-buy customers own a bunch of parts... they aren't his to sell unless he's gonna refund the cost for them.

Yes,  I meant so that he could pass it on to his customers.

$10k/month in the US doesn't sound so far from truth.  After health care and taxes (paying both sides), it goes pretty quickly.

I think the wallet he is using is Bitcoin-QT.

Should be really easy then
1049  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Please help me to recover my 1.26 BTC on: September 30, 2013, 11:04:09 PM
If you're sure that is correct it's very easy to crack it.  What wallet were you using?  If you find someone trust worthy I'm sure they'd do it for some %.  If find someone untrustworthy they'll crack it for 100%.

I guess we should have done a KNC group buy instead.
1052  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 105 Gh/s ASIC miner: Redhash by TAV. IN STOCK NOW! on: September 30, 2013, 09:39:55 PM
15 BTC with units shipping now is clearly profitable: http://mining.thegenesisblock.com/a/44fc645248 (55% month-over-month difficulty increase), and even a pessimistic 100% month-over-month increase is profitable. Also, 15 BTC for 105 Ghash/sec beats the price per Ghash/sec of any competitor shipping now or in October!

That's only true if you go back in time and start mining Sept. 1.  If you start on Oct. 1 they are only profitable by 0.05 BTC with 55% diff increase and 100% increase is just bad.

Edit:  I miscalculated the 55%, they are profitable if it is only 55%.  But I don't believe 55% will be what we see.
1053  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Can someone provide guidance using Armory? on: September 30, 2013, 07:25:46 PM
I have instructions in my sig.  I think I used 12.04, but it should be fine.  If you want to go all offline you should install 10.04 and use the offline bundle.  But then you should probably write the OS yourself.
1054  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 30, 2013, 06:55:00 PM
I bought 6 shares with the change I had left over when withdrawing all from BTCT.  I wonder if I can sell high enough to withdraw it.
1055  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Synergy Designs Inc. -ASIC mining hardware on: September 30, 2013, 06:41:35 PM
Just got my chip refund.  Kind of sad, would have needed the K16 to be 15 GH to equal that.  Just waiting on assembly refund info now.

Sorry Sad

Don't leave money or btc in exchanges for any longer than you have to.

Uh I'd rather not have a plague or asteroid impact or WW3.  I'm not sure why you'd hope for headlines "Billions die"

Hopefully this is also not a bubble:

1059  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: RAM-Reduction & Backup Center Testing (version 0.89.99.5) on: September 30, 2013, 03:21:02 AM
I just installed 0.89.99.5-beta, and was a little disappointed to see that the Message Signing functionality is only compatible with other versions of Armory. Will there ever be an Armory/Bitcoin-Qt cross-compatible signing mechanism?

What do you mean?  As far as I know there's only one way to sign something.

"these guys are overly suspicious, rightly so."

 Shocked

"We have some shares left over" -- Meaning they sold most and only had a small amount left?
