1041  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Bangladesh! on: February 03, 2021, 05:32:48 PM
Bitcoin is not recognized in Bangladesh, in a word, it is banned.  The Central Bank of Bangladesh Bangladesh Bank has not legalized the use of this currency in the country.  The central bank said the transaction could violate anti-money laundering and anti-terrorism financing laws.

Bangladesh Bank also issued a notification in December 2016 warning the people of the country about bitcoin.  It said that bitcoin is being traded in the country using various websites and social media, which is not approved by any regulatory body.  The use of these virtual currencies is not supported by the Foreign Exchange Control Act 1948, the Anti-Terrorism Act 2009 and the Prevention of Money Laundering Act 2012.  As a result, there is a risk of financial loss to the people.
In my opinion, the regulations made by the central bank of Bangladesh are very strange. The people will be jailed if they transact using bitcoin. However, the legal basis for this is using the anti-money laundering law.

Even though using bitcoin is not necessarily money laundering.  Huh Huh
1042  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin reach $50k by the end of 2021? on: January 31, 2021, 07:30:21 AM
For the first time ever, Bitcoin reached a new All-time-high (ATH) of $40k per coin. Those who held Bitcoin since 2017 (or before) would've made a lot of money by now. Unfortunately, prices have stalled as Bitcoin is stuck between the $30k - $32k range. It could be the cause of whales buying the dip to pump the price at a later time. Whatever the reason for the price drop, Bitcoin is still much more valuable than what it was a couple of years ago. If the pandemic continues to take the world by storm, we may continue to witness new ATHs in price.

All of this makes me wonder, will Bitcoin will reach $50k by 2021? If it does, 2021 will prove to be Bitcoin's biggest year with astronomical returns for early investors. Right now could be the perfect buying opportunity while Bitcoin is still in the $30k range. What are your thoughts? Huh
While it is not certain, it is possible to reach $ 50K. We all know that bitcoin value is influenced by market demand and can be manipulated by whales. Nowadays, big companies and big investors have been buying more bitcoin which makes the price increase. As long as they (investors and big companies) don't sell it, the whale dumps will be stuck so that the downturn isn't too dire. and the price will again bounce back up at a point that is higher than before.
1043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ripple (XRP) price will it recover or will it dump more? on: January 30, 2021, 05:07:10 PM
I doubt it is going to recover or go any higher as long as the lawsuit is hanging around. Though I am not sure what's currently going on with SEC and Ripple (i don't follow ripple), all I know is, they are either going to get fucked and if that happens, the price is going to dump further to almost nothing or your coins might get frozen (I am not sure about this, but I have heard XRP is centralized, and if that is the case, your coins can be frozen).
But there are others will to take the risk. They are hoping the price is going to skyrocket after Ripple wins the lawsuit.

But in fact, today's ripple coin has shot upwards. You can see it today on Binance or any exchange. Do you think this is hype or FOMO? Maybe this hike is normal and will bounce back down. But the XRP isn't dead. In my opinion, as long as XRP still has trade transactions, that means XRP still has a great trust.
1044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE To The Moon on: January 29, 2021, 05:26:20 AM
Today I saw the price of DOGE very high on the Binance exchange, I immediately sold all the DOGE that I have. After I found out why the DOGE price hike was due to tweets from WSB Chairman and Elon Musk. I wonder. Why do famous people's tweets have such an effect on the price of an asset?

Elon Musk is one of the influencers on DogeCoin and Elon Musk's tweet has a big impact on Doge's price. When Elon Musk tweets about Doge, Elon Musk's followers will have a new outlook on Doge. In other words, followers can see the quality of these assets through their idols. So that influencers indirectly help build trust in Dogecoin.

That's the influence of influencers on the interest in buying a crypto asset.
1045  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Cryptocurrencies Really Money? on: January 28, 2021, 06:30:16 PM
Yesterday, while surfing the social media that aggregate trends, Twitter, I ran into what was like a very exciting poll, the best I have seen this year.
The poll was created by International Monetary Fund (IMF) to monitor the two types of virtual currencies which are; the cryptocurrencies and the central bank digital currency.
The poll went thus;
1.   Are central banks digital currency really money? The poll result was Yes (33.8%) and no (66.2%)
2.   Are crypto currencies really money? The poll result was; Yes (79.9%) and no (20.1%)
What is your opinion about these polls?

Two poll questions of interest. If I will contribute to the poll selection, I will answer "yes" to both questions. The central bank's digital currency is money because we can make payments, buy, send, and receive digital currency. Likewise with cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency has the same function as a central bank digital currency. However, the two currencies have many differences.

should, the questions of the poll are:
1. Are the central bank's digital currency better than cryptocurrency?
2. Are cryptocurrencies better than central bank digital currencies?
1046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ripple (XRP) price will it recover or will it dump more? on: January 27, 2021, 04:09:38 PM
Last year, Ripple (XRP) price showed a great pump but as the news of SEC file a lawsuit, XRP price crash to $0.19. But people says XRP, is a currency that shouldn’t be subject to securities laws.

What do you think will happen to XRP price for this year? will it recover or will it dump more?
It seems that at this time XRP cannot get back up like before. However, if the Ripple side can fight the allegations from the SEC and can provide a response that can win arguments in court. Then the major exchanges in the United States will re-list XRP and the price will rebound.
1047  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: High possibility major governments will BAN Bitcoin in the near future on: January 26, 2021, 04:38:30 PM
The major governments of the world have for some time been laying the groundwork for their own national cryptocurrencies. Does that matter? Yes, it matters a lot. Bitcoin will be a direct competitor.

Why do they do this? To remain in financial control and to stop financial crime like whitewashing of funds from happening. Is it likely to happen? Yes, the US banned holding gold privately in the 1930's. So that the US government was to be a monopoly gold holder in the US.

There is a clear danger that the US, Europe, China, Japan and others will get togheter and flat out ban and even criminalize the usage and holding of Bitcoin. Resulting in after the ban, if you are cought using and holding BTC, you would get a huge fine or jail term.

The price of Bitcoin would get killed completely, you would be looking at Bitcoin below $1000.

How likely do YOU think this scenario is? Although you might say this is only speculation, IT IS A FACT that these countries are working on cryptocurrencies of their own.
My question is;
If the state and government completely prohibit bitcoin, either the owner, miner or trader will be punished and jailed. How can they find out or trace who owns the address?

Maybe they can find out the owner of the wallet address through centralized exchange transactions that require users to do KYC. But, what if someone sends and receives a certain amount of BTC via a decentralized wallet?
1048  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: is there any demand for Bitmex or binance verified accounts? on: January 26, 2021, 06:54:51 AM
It seems that no one will want to buy a verified account because it carries a lot of risks. Some of the risks include:

1. Buy hacked accounts. It is not impossible, if someone has paid some money to you, then you take the account back.

2. If you have financial problems with the account purchased, Bitmex can ask for proof of delivery of an identity photo and selfie while holding an identity card. If we are unable to provide proof of document ownership, the purchased account can be blocked.
1049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you invest in TRC20 tokens on: January 11, 2021, 01:53:44 PM
Usually, tokens that use the TRON platform (TRC-20) have a very low value and little liquidity. So that people don't want to invest in TRC-20 tokens. I prefer to store ERC and BSC type tokens rather than TRC.
1050  Economy / Speculation / Re: I bought BTC at 23.5K$ on: December 30, 2020, 08:47:23 AM
Hopefully you will earn a profit by buying bitcoin and it will continue to increase more next year. Only 2 days and we see the new year and we are hoping the price will go to 30k dollars in the first month of 2021.

The crypto investors are holding the bitcoin because we believe it is not the end of the rising but it the starts and it really happens because base on my observation many people keep investing, promoting and supporting the bitcoin.
He bought it for $ 23K and today the bitcoin price has hit $ 28K. His decision to buy at $ 23K was right. If he had 1BTC and sold it today, he would have earned it for around $ 5K. and what we all hope for is, bitcoin hit $ 30K at the start of the new year.
1051  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: Ciri Ciri Proyek Airdrop & Bounty Yang Scam ♨️♨️♨️♨️ on: December 25, 2020, 06:53:11 PM

1052  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price will Rise to $60,000 by December 2021 on: December 24, 2020, 04:13:08 PM
Predictions that don't make sense. Don't expect too far to hit $ 60K. Currently, the price of bitcoin is very high, the price chart will bounce down if the price continues to rise.
1053  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Major Social Media Companies on: December 11, 2020, 06:03:29 PM
I set up a bitcoin donation post for my horror story podcast and website then FB went off the deepened and told me they didn't support bitcoin and I wouldn't be able to advertise wth them if I had it on there so I removed it for now. Is this really a thing? They go as far as to scour your website and pick bitcoin of all things to complain about?
Facebook is the largest social media platform at the moment, and advertising for businesses on Facebook will be well-targeted. But unfortunately, Facebook has banned and blocked crypto-related ads due to the large number of scammers who are in the crypto business. I agree with what @mk4 said to create a donation page on the website and advertise your web/blog on Facebook.

Or you try other platforms like steemit, publish0x, or readcash that will pay with crypto if your readers like your horror stories. This is an upvote system, where readers will reward you if they like it.
1054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Youengine (YOUC) failed on: December 11, 2020, 10:31:12 AM
In my opinion, the YOUC project is not yet a failure. They still have an active community even though there aren't too many, even their team is still developing this project. I have seen their roadmap that the product will be launched in January-February 2021. So this project is not yet a failure. It seems that there are still many investors and bounty hunters who are still holding YOUC tokens. Let's just wait for the development of the YOUC project after the product is launched.

Halo, apakah untuk membeli rumah ini bisa menggunakan sistem KPR? Kalau bisa saya mau nanya bagaimana cara pengurusan nya menggunakan sistem KPR?
1056  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: Bikin token untuk joinan investasi on: December 02, 2020, 03:05:59 AM

1058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Been cheated again on: November 28, 2020, 03:48:53 PM

SCAM

Bounty hunters got cheated again, actually is this ever going to stop? Do you guys remember OLPORTAL? Bounty hunters are asked to drop ETH address to get tokens and they end up forcing bounty hunters to go and download OLCF wallet and import recovery seed to receive tokens, how did they cheat? Their shit OLCF wallet only accepts Recovery seed only, leaving out those with private keys, you can only import if you are using mycelium or others like it but for those using multi wallet like Coinomi we are out of luck, the team just ignore others like that.
Is it your first time being a victim of a scam? If so, it's only natural that you will be very shocked when you fall victim to a scam in the bounty program. Being a bounty hunter must be prepared to face a scam like this. There is no need to fully expect the rewards given by the bounty program because you will be very disappointed if the bounty program that you join ends in a scam.
1059  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you scared? on: November 28, 2020, 08:32:23 AM
I do notice that some people naturally don’t allow bitcoin in any of their daily transactions or there daily activities even when it faster and easier they still not accept or permit it to there life, they still don’t prefer using it, I have noticed this a lot, Some classes of human,Sometimes when they are to receive money from another country like international transfer sometimes it takes 2 3 days to arrive,They will advise them to use bitcoin and they still don’t accept it even it faster and easier. How can we erase the negative thoughts of people over bitcoin? Nobody has any negative thoughts over dollars or there various currencies, We need to think about it.
They don't accept bitcoins because they don't believe it. Instead, they accept other countries' currency even though it may take up to 2 days. because they believe it. If you also don't trust bitcoins, then you won't accept bitcoins. Currently, you accept bitcoins as payment. must be because you trust bitcoin
1060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your favorite shopping cryptocurrency? on: November 27, 2020, 04:54:54 PM
Maybe I'll buy more altcoins like XRP, XLM, and EOS. Because I believe that the three altcoins will give me a big profit.
