1042  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Population decline - The largest challange ahead on: September 11, 2023, 02:34:45 AM
I don't agree that a declining population is a greater risk to civilization than global warming. Elon Musk's suggestion is neither accurate nor favorable. In my view, global warming deserves more attention and thoughtful solutions. To effectively address this challenge, requires international cooperation.

I would prefer to have a decline in the population rather than overpopulation.

Here in our area, it seems that the economically disadvantaged are the ones who are more inclined to have many children. How can you possibly provide for and meet all their needs if you don't have the means to support them from the beginning? It's just irresponsible.
1043  Economy / Services / Re: Write a short crypto casino feedback [Paying $5 directly to your BTC wallet] on: September 10, 2023, 10:54:45 PM
You mean his last reply on this thread, his last post was just few days ago (although it was on gambling board) the same as his last active, do be exact its just 3 days ago.
Well, about this thread if OP's still open for new applicants, i'm not so sure.

Oh yeah, you're right. I mistakenly looked at the dates, sorry for the confusion. Thanks for clarifying it.

So the only option is to send OP a private message and try to inquire about the opportunity's current status.
1044  Economy / Services / Re: 🤜 Write a short crypto casino feedback [Paying $5 directly to your BTC wallet] on: September 10, 2023, 10:26:44 AM
Is this still open ? Can i write a review ?
I don't think this is open anymore; the OP hasn't been active for almost five months, so you can't write a review for pay anymore. I can't see any contact details on his profile, his original first post, or his website to reach him.

1046  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Faruk Ozer, turkey crypto whizz sentenced to 11,196 years in jail? Wow! on: September 09, 2023, 10:38:05 AM
Those years? How many times does he need to be resurrected? LOL 😆

I understand your mixed feelings about the sentencing of Faruk Ozer. It is certainly a shocking case, and it is understandable that you would feel embarrassed as a crypto fan. It is important to remember that Ozer is not the first person to commit fraud in the cryptocurrency space, and he will not be the last.
1047  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What did you do After Reaching your Bitcoin Goal? on: September 09, 2023, 12:37:55 AM
Have you consider investing in other assets such as stocks, real estates, or precious metals?

Setting new goals can help you stay motivated and continue to grow your wealth, could be higher Bitcoin target.

If you believe in the long-term potential of Bitcoin, you may choose to hold your existing investments and continue DCAing for the future.
1048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in new projects. on: September 08, 2023, 11:24:29 PM
I have not personally looked into the DingDang Bubble project but it is highly speculative and risky.

What is the something unique or valuable that sets it apart from other meme coins that they are offering with regards to its utility and use-cases?
1049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MetaMask Unveils Instant Bank Withdrawals on: September 08, 2023, 11:03:21 AM
MetaMask's new feature for instant bank withdrawals is indeed a convenient addition for its users, making it easier to convert crypto to fiat. However, it's essential for users to be aware of the associated conversion fees and potential bank fees based on their location.
MetaMask charges a 0.875% fee for each withdrawal, and your bank or PayPal may also charge a fee.

This is a major step forward for the adoption of cryptocurrencies, as it makes it much easier for people to use their crypto for everyday purchases.
1050  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Alteration of bitcoin 21M cap: Is it possible, necessary or needless? on: September 07, 2023, 01:09:46 AM
It's needless.

I think it should never be increased. And for me, the alteration is a disaster.

Alteration to this cap would be seen by some as a breach of trust and a deviation from the original vision.
Altering the cap could potentially reduce the perceived scarcity, which could impact its value proposition as "digital gold."
Altering the cap could affect the economic incentives for miners and, consequently, the security of the network.

The alteration will only damage Bitcoin's reputation.
1051  Other / MultiBit / Re: Help,Multibit classic password . on: September 06, 2023, 11:04:29 PM
According to https://pascal-bergeron.com/en/posts/how-to-recover-multibit-wallet , you can use two software to brute force your password: BTCRecover and hashcat. You will need to locate the .wallet or .key file that contains your encrypted private keys. You can also use a service like https://keychainx.medium.com/multibit-magic-how-to-recover-keys-a642eebe976f to recover your Multibit Classic wallet for a fee. I hope this helps.
1052  Economy / Gambling / Re: (duelbits.com) Is it possible for duelbit.com to retrieve my wrong deposit ? on: September 06, 2023, 12:17:21 PM
Retrieving a wrong deposit typically depends on the policies and responsiveness of the platform Duelbits.
All you can do is continue to follow up with Duelbits support and wait for their response. They may be able or not to retrieve your deposit, as it depends on their internal processes and willingness to assist in such cases. Patience and persistence in your communication with their support team may be your best approach.

I think it is possible for Duelbits to retrieve your wrong deposit but it is not guaranteed. The success of retrieving a wrong deposit depends on the difficulty of retrieving it. It has been over 1 month since you contacted Duelbits support. For me this is a long time, but it is not necessarily a bad sign. It is possible that Duelbits is still working on retrieving your funds. However, if you do not hear back from them soon, you may want to contact them again and ask for an update.
1053  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which is safest wallet for bitcoin long term holding? on: September 06, 2023, 08:46:48 AM
Choosing a safe wallet for long-term Bitcoin holding is crucial. Anyway, the safest wallet for long-term holding of Bitcoin is a hardware wallet like Ledger Nano S, Trezor Model One and Coldcard. And some other highly reputable wallets for long-term storage such as Paper Wallets, Cold Storage Wallets and Multisignature Wallets. And aside from electrum software wallet, there is also Mycelium and Green Wallet.

Best time to buy Bitcoin? Well, it's challenging to predict price movements accurately.
For a long-term investment, I would prefer dollar-cost averaging (DCA). A strategy that involves buying a fixed amount of Bitcoin at regular intervals regardless of price fluctuations. I avoid trying to time the market and benefit from both highs and lows over time. I think the current price may be a good entry point.
1054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest into https://nexus.io/ Web4? Or Invest into Web2 Namecoin? on: September 05, 2023, 12:11:48 PM
Bitcoin is a well-established cryptocurrency and considered by many as a store of value. If you have a small amount to invest, it might be a relatively safer choice compared to newer and smaller projects. Bitcoin is the first and most well-known cryptocurrency. It is a more mature investment.

But if you would to like to choose between the two altcoins. Go for Nexus, if you are looking for a high-risk, high-reward investment, it could be a good option for you. If you are looking for a more stable investment, then Namecoin could be better choice.

But if I were you, I would stick and prioritize Bitcoin.
1055  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Impact of Blockchain on: September 05, 2023, 12:26:21 AM

What do you think of these statistics and the potential of blockchain in various sectors?

Are there any other sectors that you believe blockchain technology will be of use in?

I think these statistics are impressive and show the growing adoption and innovation of blockchain across different industries. Blockchain has the potential to create more efficient, secure, and transparent systems that can benefit both businesses and consumers.

Are there any other sectors that you believe blockchain technology will be of use in?

Some other sectors that I believe blockchain technology will be of use in are:

Education: Blockchain can enable the creation and verification of digital credentials, such as diplomas, certificates, and badges, that can be easily shared and verified by employers or institutions.

Energy: Blockchain can facilitate peer-to-peer energy trading, allowing consumers to sell their excess renewable energy to other consumers or the grid. This can reduce energy costs and carbon emissions.

Entertainment: Blockchain can enable the creation and distribution of digital content, such as music, art, and games, that can be owned and monetized by the creators and consumers. This can empower artists and foster creativity.

1056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why should I invest in Qizon Coin? on: September 04, 2023, 10:08:16 PM
Sorry OP but I cannot verify the legitimacy or reliability of this coin, as it is not listed on any major crypto exchange or platform. Please be careful before investing in this coin.

I don't like them having a KYC procedure. Also, I tried to check their telegram channel but no results.

1058  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Help me exchange my bitcoins on: September 04, 2023, 12:48:54 PM
LocalBitcoins and Paxful are both entirely centralized and both demand full KYC. LocalCryptos has shutdown.

If OP doesn't trust exchanges, then he isn't going to want to use a fake peer to peer site like LBC or Paxful which will still collect his data and invade his privacy. A better option would be pick a site from https://kycnot.me/?type=exchange such as Bisq or AgoraDesk and use that to find a reputable local trader.

You're right and I appreciate your clarification. Thank you for providing a more privacy-focused solution.
1059  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Help me exchange my bitcoins on: September 04, 2023, 09:59:58 AM
To exchange your Bitcoins for USDC with a local trader, you can consider using peer-to-peer (P2P) platforms that connect you with individuals in your area who are interested in buying or selling cryptocurrencies. Here are a few platforms to consider: LocalBitcoins, Paxful, LocalCryptos

1060  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to check for historical prices for coin years ago at exact time? on: September 04, 2023, 02:36:24 AM
The time zone that CoinMarketCap uses is Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) if I'm not mistaken. To convert UTC to your local time, you can use a time zone converter.
