1041  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: September 02, 2017, 06:29:56 AM
hi guys, i bought 1BTC today and i am wondering to gamble or to invest the 1btc?

if to gamble

best site to gamble with a really nice provably fair..

and if to invest.

best investment program wherein no scam.

thank you for your opinions guys

cheers
I don't exactly get what do you want here? are you asking where to put your 1 bitcoinBTC? and asking which one is good to gamble or to invest? I think you like gambling, so go for the things you like, but it will surely you will experience more losses of money. Good luck then pal. Even many here will tell you much good to invest, but there advise will be useless if you go into gambling.
1042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This ICO looks Promising . on: September 02, 2017, 04:04:54 AM
So, there is this new company called UTrust that is "offering" to solve the problem of businesses not accepting Cryptocurrency as a form of payment due to price volatility.
The company plans to do this by automatically converting Cryptocurrencies to Fiat immediately they are received as payment.
Don't know how they plan to do this but I believe it will encourage big companies & businesses to accept Cryptocurrencies as form of payment rather than avoiding them.
The company is currently on ICO here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2078526.0
UTRUST ico project is really one of the promising ICO campaign. It has a potential to surpass Paypal, and Bitpay services. They already build and established community here, and many of the investors in this industry believed to their project as well too.
1043  Economy / Economics / Re: How long could bitcoin last? on: September 02, 2017, 02:14:06 AM
As of right now, the bitcoin price is expected to keep going up in the next 20 years. But can it last that long? I believe it's possible. But can't it crash at a random time? Like the price going down hard.
The market value of Bitcoin can crash at any time depending on what the investors want to happen. It would require a conscious effort from basically everyone invested in Bitcoin to crash the price, meaning everyone stops buying and people keep selling. That's the only way that they would be able to crash the value, and that's nearly impossible outside of variables influencing everyone to sell instead of hold or buy. As for Bitcoin staying alive for such a long period of time, it is possible if the community wants to stay with Bitcoin for that long, and so far it looks like the community is going to keep supporting Bitcoin.
I agreed on you sir, The existence was depend on the demand of the users and investors of bitcoin. And for what's happening now at the price value the community of the patronizers are intend to push bitcoin to increase its value, In fact, they are aggressive and determined to make it happen that bitcoin will reach 10,000$ this 2017.
1044  Economy / Economics / Re: How to double your money using BTC? on: September 02, 2017, 12:54:01 AM
Here is a tutorial for dummies about doubling our money and not Bitcoins with scam scripts, remember no one has your best interest in heart to help you double your coins, however there is this thing we call it Bitcoin and indeed you can effectively double your fiat money with it.

But how?

-Simple, whatever you have buy Bitcoin(s) and deposit them in never before used addresses and forget about them for literally 6 long months/half a year.

-Tip: don't pay any attention to news and don't participate in crypto related forums and social medias, it will drive you crazy.

-Result: after 6 months and after your phone alarm went off since you set it to ring in calendar for exactly 180 days, open your browser and go to one of the reputable exchanges and look at the market price, if your fiat money wasn't doubled if you were to sell your Bitcoins then find me and kick my ass for bad advice. :?

Please refer to the Bitcoin price and charts to see if the price did or did not doubled every 6 months.

I can't find anything remotely similar to this can you? and if so please share with us.

Edit:
Disclaimer:
This post was intended as a quick suggestion to double your fiat money and not your Bitcoin, any body telling and promising to increase the amount of your Bitcoin is either misleading you or tries to scam you, even legit interest paying companies have their own high risk of loss.

Only idiots gamble in hopes of earning money or double their money.

This sounds that you are extremely experts on doing this thing. Why would I do with what you said? I'm not gonna invest then wait for 6 months if I can make double it in 1 month only. Besides, it is still much better to invest into bitcoin than fiat. Like investing in trading, buying altcoin or buying token in the ICO project are one of the best things to do to multiply your capital anyway. Wink
1045  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Kaya Pa Bang Kumita Ng Maganda Sa Pinas? on: September 01, 2017, 02:18:05 PM
1046  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: bitcoin sa pilipinas on: September 01, 2017, 01:01:57 PM
1047  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Bitcoin Signature campaigns on: September 01, 2017, 10:51:25 AM

1048  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can you suggest a better way?? on: September 01, 2017, 10:33:02 AM
The market is falling is it the affect of the upcoming segwit? Or just a normal move in the market in which is the up and down of the price?? Is it ok to hold bitcoins in the exchanger? Can you help me???

segwit may be the main reason for this price movement,It is not safe to keep your coins on an exchange on 1st Aug (or even a few days after that). See this:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2017191.0
Yes, I agreed that Segwit is the main reason of the movement change of the price value of bitcoin. Even for a years past, it is really not advisable too keep any coins in the exchange site platform even there is an that has been done this past August 1 2017, and nothing's happen instead bitcoin became more higher.
Well this might not be true. I think that nothing had effect the market price of Bitcoin so far. Its market value is continuously increasing with each passing dayand is helping the investors to multiply what they owe.

Indeed, you are correct dude! If bitcoin price value increased it is because the demand of the investors and patronizers of bitcoin was very aggressive. Therefore the volatility is also way of chance for the traders whether they buy or sell their coins. That's what I think bout and perception about it.
1049  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the moon!!! on: September 01, 2017, 09:49:16 AM
For those that buy bitcoin last week when the price fell and was dump to $1,785 can now take profit as from https://coinmarketcap.com is currently $2,750. Thank God for another blessing!
Most of the bitcoin believers who bought it are now rejoicing anyway, But looks they still keep holding on it because of believing that bitcoin will hit 10, 000$ this year before end of 2017, for sure if that happen many of the bitcoin holders will sell their coins. Congrats! to those who can wait for that time.
1050  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade or Hodling on: September 01, 2017, 08:58:28 AM
I would just like to hear your opinions, Which is more profitable, Day Trading where you can profit through buying the dips and selling when it pumps repeatedly, or Long term HODLing where you buy the dip and only sell it when it goes up 5 to 10 times its price value?

If you are type of people who is interested on investing a coins whether altcoin or bitcoin then once you buy it then hold in a long term. at least it is safe your risk is very minimal, but if the value increase it is very much profitable than Day trade which has a high risk involved anyway. Smiley
1051  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bill Gates on Bitcoin on: September 01, 2017, 08:04:10 AM
Bill Gates stated that the Bitcoin is the future and that it is better than currency. Would you assume that his statement (as one of the many reasons) added value on Bitcoin which made it stronger and more stable in the system?  Smiley
I guess bitcoin now all over the world are really popular, because our Bank central of the Philippines are approved 2 exchange were bitcoin accepted. This is shows only that bitcoin so far here is spreading out nationwide, Cheesy
So for what Bill gates said was really true that bitcoin is the future currency.
1052  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest threats to Bitcoin prices in next 12 months on: September 01, 2017, 06:17:17 AM
There are a lot of things that can hinder bitcoin adoption, or potentially cause serious harm. There is already a proposed 2x hardfork potentially going to happen soon (in my personal opinion is an attack), the 51% attack, exchange manipulation, exchange regulations, AML/KYC overreaching, FUD, countries banning bitcoin, bitcoin cash, hackers... There are always so many forces acting on bitcoin it is amazing it is still standing strong, I love it.

Yes, I agrees with you on that things mate, even there's so many attempted to turn down bitcoin, but still up to now bitcoin stand still and became more stronger. And what good about it the demand of the bitcoin users and whale investor was also supported bitcoin in times like this of bitcoin faces circumstances.
1053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Good alt or stay away? on: September 01, 2017, 05:25:44 AM
Hi everyone, I've been around for a while now..
I've seen a lot of posts positive and negative about Ethereum.

At the moment I am holding Bitcoins, but I have invested in some Ether as well.

Now I am wondering, what are legitimate concerns about Ether (except for IPO, as I've already read this in a lot of posts).

So can anyone bring real other issues to the table, to enlighten me (and maybe a lot of other readers?)

Thanks!
For what you had read and heard was true, and negative feedback about it, its not a new thing to me. If you are holding Bitcoin, keep going on what you had started in it. Then if you have also Ethereum keep on holding it too, because it is also a good altcoin. In fact, most of the ico token are connecting themselves to be part of ethereum blockchain. and most of token who get at touch in it are also become successful after the ICO token.
1054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am newbie you can explain what alticoin? on: September 01, 2017, 05:11:18 AM
I am newbie  you can explain what alticoin?
Altcoin is also a digital currencya, where it give profit to anyone. But they cloned bitcoin which means it is a copycat, only the difference was the value very cheap, but there some alt are not cheap to be considered like ETH, XMR, DASH, ETC, WAVES, aand others. But not as the value of bitcoin has it now.
1055  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs are they successful or scam? on: September 01, 2017, 04:29:46 AM
so many ICOs, how a person can know in which ICO to invest?

It is true that many of ICO now appears here in this industry. But not all are scams, though most of them are yes it is. Still, it can't be deny most of the successful community here became successful in investing towards ICO project campaign, and I earn big also in the ico, were I joined to participate  to their signature campaign.
1056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves Token - How to Airdrop? on: August 31, 2017, 03:17:45 PM
My advice to you forget all advertising - air drop don't know about it and try to follow Deep Onion to achieve your dreams .
I think there are few airdrop that are quite so good. Then majority of them are not, And I don't think deep onion is one of them. Why are you saying that by following deep onion the can person can achieve their dreams. Sounds like hype only, I hate hyping people.
1057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: August 31, 2017, 02:54:17 PM
I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin? I don't mean like a few here and there, I mean over 100 coins.
For me altcoins are really worth to buy, because with this I got my bitcoin earnings through altcoins. Which I saw that bitcoin and alts are working together as a team in digital currency. So, up to now I still keep buying altcoin to continue trade in the exchange platform.
1058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you plan to quit the altcoin world? on: August 31, 2017, 02:23:40 PM
Have you ever thought about quitting this completely? My friend just bought some Monero and BTC and he said NO! Screw the altcoin guys! I'll work and relax and check back yearly. Cool dude. Needless to say he made more than 90% of daily traders in the year

Why should I do that, do you know what you're saying? Don't you know that most of the community in crytpo world/ bitcoin world became successful because of crypto trading and bitcoin trading. There few legit altcoins in the market where they helped also lot of member in this field of industry to make their lives be change in prosperity now.
1059  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The new Bitcoin on: August 31, 2017, 01:55:48 PM
Dear members, It must be our fault for not making things clear enough or detailed enough in terms of our development plans that brought you to this opinion.
PayperEx was designed by veterans of the online trading industry, using their knowledge and experience of operating in the investment field for over a decade. Combining expertise in regulated markets together with blockchain technology we are creating a unique solution for PayperEx users.
Our vision is to create an alternative share market network, a marketplace where everyone around the world will able to participate.
as for the technology, we are bringing lots of knowledge and code to this network ( some of it already implemented) this is why PayperEx members will be able to trade the PAX token as soon as the ICO finished, they will not need to wait until we get listed in any external exchange because WE are the Exchange!. we are using the blockchain technology for the main 3 core features: 1. the Matching Engine 2.The Paypers (shares) 3. the PAX token.
we can't tell if the Bitcoin Paypers or PAX token will replace the traditional Bitcoin but we do say that we bring an amazing solution for many people around the world to participate in this amazing crypto market with low entry price, option to profit from the downtrend in the markets and to receive portion of the fee collected from the activity in the network.
We are sorry if for some reason we came across in your view as not professional.

Regards

we can't tell if the Bitcoin Paypers or PAX token will replace the traditional Bitcoin
 - You can't tell, but the title of this topic was " The new bitcoin " You can't convince the community here so easily as you think.  You maybe have an amazing solution for many people but one thing for sure is that's not enough, so easy to mention but hard to apply in reality. You just promoting Pax in this forum not stating the fact the real Bitcoin definition. And Pax was just an altcoin, and nothing else.
1060  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Thinking of selling Canadian condo in BTC. Thoughts? on: August 31, 2017, 12:08:06 PM
I have been thinking about selling my condo for BTC. I live in a prime downtown neighbourhood in one of Canada's largest cities.  I feel that, due to risk, I could potentially list my home at a higher price and wouldn't have to pay a broker commission. Additionally I think listing my property in BTC would attract attention that may be hard to do without the traditional MLS system. Of course it would also help me build up a significant holding of BTC.

I'm interested in any possible legal or financial issues I may run into. I can only find limited information online with respect to Canada. I would love to hear from anyone who has conducted a real estate transaction with BTC in Canada.

I think it would be difficult for you to sell it mate, Unless you can find a buyers here who is also a bitcoin enthusiast like us,  that would agree to pay you in bitcoins.
