I'm doing both, there are a coin which I trade them regularly and the other one I hold until the highest price would reached. It's much better and promising than do one of them, because you could lose the opportunity from regular trade or hold them.

Long term investment in undervalued altcoins and ICOs with very strong teams behind them. That was my focus until now when I'm starting to be interested in day trading as well. Smiley

Thank you all for your helpful posts!

Yes, do both and do not depend on single side. You can invest in ICOs with great developers or team behind it and also do day trading from the different stable and strong coins in the market. Those two will help you to get on a higher chance to make more money in the long term process because investing and trading is a well balanced habit of a person.

And you can have a backup funds for avoid the worst situation altcoin you are trading falldown. My strategy when trading is hold 30% Bitcoin in my wallet can keep private key, if altcoin market have bloodbath or flash crash on market, I will deposit my Bitcoin for buy them Grin

Both of them are good to make profit but you must choose a good coin that have a great and hardworking Dev if you are doing long term trading because there's a lot of shitcoin that die in short term so be careful choose wisely. I must prefer for long term trading since I'm busy on my regular job I choose the top 10 coin on coinmarketcap now I'm holding Monero, litecoin and EOS.

I would just like to hear your opinions, Which is more profitable, Day Trading where you can profit through buying the dips and selling when it pumps repeatedly, or Long term HODLing where you buy the dip and only sell it when it goes up 5 to 10 times its price value?

Oviously long term is more profitable.Day tradding sometime profitable but most of  the time non profitable and you can loss your money. when you will see you are in loss then try to hold them untill you gain your main money. One things that always mind that in long term or daily tradding  to get profit you must need to choose a good coin.

My initial plan was to earn profits every month, but seeing as I'm buying at the highest price, my last option is to not sell it, because after I calculate I lose almost 50%. Now, I am focus to participate in some ICO projects, and waiting my alt coin back to their last stand when I bought them.

If you are type of people who is interested on investing a coins whether altcoin or bitcoin then once you buy it then hold in a long term. at least it is safe your risk is very minimal, but if the value increase it is very much profitable than Day trade which has a high risk involved anyway. Smiley

I'm a speculator that calculates total profit orders for a week or a month, so daily transactions are only for capital expansion, if I sell and exchange profits every day there will be no financial fundamentals and that's not good management. But this remains in accordance with the trader's own patterns and I am used to being a holder.

I always prefer to go for Holding than Day trading. If you are an expert in trading then you can go for day trading because, there will be some time when the price of BTC will fall for few weeks during the holding period. At that time we can book profit at top of the price swing and then during the pullback we can go for day trading. keep in mind day trading have high risk, high stress, and high charges and commission as compare to Holding or Investing Method.

You can go for both if you have both day trading and holding skills. It depends on you and your mindset.

We can't compare both. At times both might be profitable . Like if you are a trader , the amount of goods you own matters like making a small profit for a product will make you earn alot if you have lots of goods .
Similarly if you are a bad trader then holding Bitcoins is the best method as you don't have to do anything just wait for the prices to rise

I believe that both day trading of bitcoin or crypto currency and holding bitcoin are all profitable, but trading is not suitable For everybody most especially if you don't have good knowledge of the technicality involved in trading crypto currency.  So many people lost their money as a result of panic of the event that took place during 1st August.

Both are really profitable if you do really know on how to do it specially on short trading. It is indeed hard and its not really an easy thing and does require knowledge and experience for you to be profitable. This is why some would really fail up on short trading and later on they would decide its better to hold than to risk but i would say its really a nice decision rather than risking on the things that you didnt even know on what you are doing.

It seems to me that the translation before and after August 1 is not very influential for users to lose their money. It seems to me that most people who worked in the field of crypto currency were already well informed and did not try to sell their coins.

if I can advise your coin's resistant up to several years to come, if you use for current trading then you will lose because you can not enjoy when buy at low price and sell it at high price several years later.

Holding a reliable cryptocurrency is better than trading simply because of the fact that you do not have to face the risks of market everyday. You simply wait for the value of your assets to grow on their own.
