1081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bear market end or not? on: June 02, 2018, 11:03:48 AM
I heard people saying june will mark the end of bear market in 2018 what is your take on this, what makes you think bear market will end this month.

I would not firm to say that the bear market has come to an end as bulls/bear market appear time by time/cycle by cycle. However it is a positive sign that market has recovered a little bit over the past few days and by looking the switch from May to June, we can highly anticipate that the market could go on a bull run
1082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My $36,000 Invesment Turned Out Now $12,000 - Still Holding on: June 02, 2018, 06:11:49 AM
I know how people feel, those who invested in December or January like me, who fell love with crypto, and the way price was going up, never believed I have to see market cap under $250 billion. However, Everyday I check my Black folio app, I feel sick in my stomach. Sometimes I feel what I have done? But i knew there was a risk, i knew, I could lose money, but I couldn't control my rush of blood, seeing people buying right and left whatever they could.

But my question to all those investors, do you believe in crypto? If you do then hold tight because good days will come, if you are not in need an emergency cash, then hold your coin, It can't be red all days, it will be green. have some faith in this industry. I know it's hard seeing the bloodbath, what's happening, but we will rise again.

Even though I lost 70% of my portfolio, I'm still holding because I know good days are coming soon. Good luck guys.

Well, my current holdings are.

1. NEO
2. LISK
3. XLM
4. MCO
5. BAT
6. POWR
7. WABI
8. START
9. WTC
10. RPX

Well, first of all, congratz!
For having such a good determination and dedication towards the crypto industry

Your portfolio are kinda great with the diversification towards all the Tech project instead of just some unknown random coins.
With the confident in crypto in yourself, we can make it
Crypto is not about how many people get in, it about how many people stay when the market goes on bloodbath. The one who remain strengthen the markets and the upcoming investors enlarge the market
1083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Digibyte Beats Bitcoin on: June 02, 2018, 06:09:25 AM
Well, lets compare apple to apple and oranges to oranges
I believe both has different supply and that would already make a vast differences

Things that has undergo a different supply especially huge supply vs small supply can result on different scenario
- Liquidity differences where things which huge supply normally have lower price hence a better liquidity
- Buying/Selling Power will come in difference when the price of an item varies
- Items with small supply could tend to move much faster in its price because of it "uniqueness"
1084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Panic Sell ? / Chance on: June 02, 2018, 06:06:31 AM
I don't really practice to buy low/sell high concept when it comes to Crypto/Fiat

I only do it with the xxx/BTC or xxx/ETH pairing. Cashing out and buying back in is way too annoying for me especially that Crypto is not regulated in my country and it is set as a grey area because most people here doesn't had access to tech information. Hence, it might be kinda a trouble if one day they decide to ban off crypto and declare my earning as "Illegal"
1085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I am sorry for the people on: June 02, 2018, 06:04:37 AM
Who are holding the coins with a ray of hope. It is not going to end good guys. Sell what you have, atleast you can get something out of it. If you are in the last batch who are left with the coins, you will not even get a condom with it.

Hello, comparing a price of condom to the price of Crypto is kinda out of states at least for me
Of course the future of Crypto might be unpredictable but how can you say it is not going to end good with confident?

The Bitcoin price could end up with $1,000 with tons of people using it, is it ending good for you? The problem is most people are just looking at the price instead of How we can use it. Perhaps you could change and take a view from a different perspective and you will find it okay

You don't need to feel sorry for people because everyone make their decision and take their risk for something
1086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which altcoins are good at the moment to buy? on: June 02, 2018, 06:01:51 AM
I would say that its pretty fine to buy any altcoins that has ongoing development and not one which is phishy and you will be fine

Quantstamp, Neblio, District0x, Ada, IOTA and the list goes on
As long as you don't run and jump onto PnD coins, its kind to say that you would likely end up with profit soon
1087  Other / Meta / Re: Can i give merits to my friend? on: June 01, 2018, 07:04:21 AM
Alright, thanks for all the help
I didn't really go through it even after it was released because i thought its some extra feature until recently i only realize that ranking up requires Smerit lul  Tongue
It's kind of dilemma for me to make the decision

In the aspect of friend perhaps i could help him but for the sake for a better forum environment, guess i will only vouch out of quality post
Thanks guys

Regards
1088  Other / Meta / Can i give merits to my friend? on: June 01, 2018, 06:09:42 AM
I joined bitcointalk for almost years and i've invite one of this friend to join last year

He work hard on the crypto scene, learn and we share knowledge together. Then i told him about the bounty program and he is now a full member
Now he has enough post, but lack of around 140 merits, can i give him 140 merits without any problem?

Or there's a requirement that he shall do something or etc in order for me to vouch him with merits?

Thanks and regards
1089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC back to $6000 ? on: June 01, 2018, 05:11:15 AM
Well the market consolidate awhile after dropping 10% the past few day and it manage to hold on its support and regain some level
However, from what i read, if we goes drop below $7,200, we are straight down to $6,000 for next level support

Hence, this few days are kinda important to see if the market are able to remain or break below
1090  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BITCOIN or ETHEREUM? on: May 30, 2018, 11:53:41 AM
Although i don't really agree on the position for Bitcoin to be in the #1 of the marketcap regardless of its tech, use case, transaction adoption wise and etc
Compare it to ETH, ethereum is far more better but we should compare apple to apple, orange to orange

Well, if we go through most analytics report or forecast, you could always see XXX to predict Bitcoin to price at $50,000 , $30,000, $100,000 and more
There's always a reason there, naming "Digital" Gold for Bitcoin is somehow subjective yet attachable

For investment wise, getting both Btc, eth in your portfolio cause no harm, so diversify it should be real fine
1091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [STRATIS] Time to buy? on: May 30, 2018, 11:49:09 AM
Is it time to buy Stratis with these low prices or is it better to invest in another ALT?
What do you think?

Well, i didn't follow Stratis for almost quite some time, despite it is one of the most attractive project in the past year because of it's enormous growth rate
However, i would prefer to go on NEBLIO in this case because of the same project to project competitive scene
1092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest on low market cap coins on: May 30, 2018, 11:46:24 AM
Hello,
I need suggestion of some low market cap cryptocurrencies which i can rely on.
thank you

Etherparty
Datum
ION
RCN and more

Basically look at coinmarketcap page 2-3 u will find it alot
However, always remember that although it can give you a really great profit but safety wise, always research before you invest. There's always a reason why they are not in the first page
- Lack of competitive strength
- Slow Development
- Lack of good leadership
and etc
1093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano (ADA) Coin - would you invest? on: May 29, 2018, 04:55:22 PM
Didn't invest in it but by looking at the technical chart and the fundamentals, ADA is just good to go for including in your pocket
1094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC or ETH? on: May 29, 2018, 03:19:57 PM
Which should I invest in, that potentially has more growth? I know this really isn't able to be given a direct answers, but what's everyones opinion and why are they different?

To me it seems more people are interested in ETH, over LTC which seems to be the case. More investors equals more interest, and a better growth.

The current issue with Litepay has kind of turned me off of LTC, but if things work out that seems like it could be a good spike in growth as well.

Both, i believe both could do great in a longer term. A competitive scene is always good for coins that are looking to improve
1095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How should I split my $100k? on: May 27, 2018, 12:41:16 PM
Hello guys, If you put $100k to crypto, how would you split it ? Thank you

Split based on type of investment risk

High 5-10% holding or more (Depends on you)
Med - 25% holding
Safe - 60%-80% holding

Just diversify and you will be fine
1096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CAN RIPPLE STILL MAKE YOU A MILLIONAIRE IN 2018?? on: May 26, 2018, 07:55:28 AM
So in todays topic is ripple can ripple still make you a
millionaire in 2018. Well in 2017 if you bought at the
beginning in 2017 at half a cent you woulda become a
millionaire with only a couple thousand dollars at the end of
2017! Watch the video for my thoughts and price prediction!
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=i4im__n1msc&fulldescription=1&client=mv-google&gl=NG&hl=en

If you have $500,000, with a bull run, you can easily flip from $500,000 to $1,000,000 if you bought in at $0.6 and it jumped to $1.2
It is very likely if you have huge money but if you are saying a 10-50x, it might be hard
The marketcap is just way too big for Ripple now
1097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is new way to get Free money? on: May 26, 2018, 07:53:22 AM
I do not know why! I only think that Ico project is a more modern Ponzi method right now.  Huh
How about you, YES OR NOR ?   Huh

It is yes in the past, but if you are saying real easy money for now, it would be a no
ICO requires people to research it and analyze before you really invest in it

You can invest into a genuine project, a fake project, or a fail genuine project, or a genuine project which turns to scam after
Too much risk imply, so not a new way for free money
1098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves will kill Ethereum? on: May 26, 2018, 07:50:12 AM
Waves  features:

---Fast  transactions

---- no touring complete  smart contracts (safer than a  touring  complete  smart contract)

----- DEX  ( not  a  goode  interface tought)

----  tokens creation

-----   Ico  creation

WIill   waves   have  the  same  boom  that  ethereum had   last  year (2016) or not?

Will it kill Ethereum?

To kill Ethereum is might not be very possible, at least the Ethereum had way too huge user base
Waves is a good coin too and i think Waves is just way too undervalue if we were to compare it to Litecoin and Ripple
It has great DEX, ICO token creation like what OP mentioned

Just to kill off Ethereum, not really possible at least imo
1099  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should invest on ripple or litecoin ? on: May 26, 2018, 07:48:10 AM
Hello everyone.
I want to buy some coin and hold it for at least 1 year. What should I invest on, ripple or litecoin ?

It is very subjective here as there's people who always say that
Ripple is a centralized cryptocurrency
Litecoin is just a fork of Bitcoin and re-enhance with different supply and tech

However IMO, despite if you are going more towards to centralized crypto or a Fork of project, it doesn't matter right now
Everything has changed in the crypto atmosphere, whoever got major adopted by most user throughout the world, who will be the king

If i were to choose among 2, i would split my investment in both
1100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: All my money in 1 altcoin - Too risky? on: May 26, 2018, 07:46:07 AM
Yes, despite you could earn alot if the coins up because all your money are inside one basket
Imagine if you just predict it incorrectly and the coin went scam/etc, you will end up in Nothing.
