1101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest wisely on: April 09, 2018, 03:45:35 AM
Invest responsibly in not only cryptocurrency but anything such as stocks, forex, etc.  Don't put your babies milk money into cryptocurrencies and then panic when you're losing money.   If you're eating ramen just to buy cryptos, that's not being responsible either.
We should always be on balance on all sorts of things not only on investment side but also into other things as well. As an investor we should really be responsible thru our actions since we are already involving our own money to use up in sorts of investment and as being suggested only used up the money which arent being used into your priorities and needs in life. Dont make any compromisation into those things only allocate amounts which you can able to risk on.
1102  Economy / Economics / Re: Do we need regulations? on: April 09, 2018, 02:58:35 AM
How do you guys think? Do we need regulations in the crypto world? Should only ICO be regulated or legit coins (not "security tokens") too? Can we implement regulations mechanisms in code so that corrupted governmental institutions couldn't manipulate the industry? Can we still have free market with governments' regulations across the world?

Please, share your thoughts. I'm a bit confused about what's happening right now.
the rule is necessary in bitcoin, because the rule is necessary to keep people using bitcoin from making mistakes.

Your explanation is so vague. Regulations are needed since Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency. Without regulations, Bitcoin might be used in a crime by criminals and use it to fool people to give them money. No one will help you since Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency, unless Bitcoin is regulated by the government, it is hard to to trust your digital currency
If its not regulated it doesnt mean that it will be used in illegal things rampantly. We do see regulation is already gradually increasing into some countries we dont have any choice but to embrace such changes.Even bitcoin is being regulated but it cant really be removed into its decentralized properties.Regulation is much better compared into a total ban but even in the situation on where it is already regulated there would be still hidden transactions that cant be traced up by the government and thats the good thing on using up cryptocurrencies which we do either choose on regulated or not kind of transactions.
1103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Should we limit members in one campaign? on: April 07, 2018, 11:52:20 PM
Dear all,
Sorry for any inconvenience for this topic,
I’ve ever joined some bounty campaigns and get some tokens. Bellow are my thinking:
There are some projects attract so much participants, although that means the project is very interesting but it has limited bonus. Result, bonus that each participant receivers from the campaign very small. A lot of participants in one campaign has made so many spams on social networking….
So a question here: Should we limit members in one campaign?
(maybe depend on the bonus value of that campaign)
What are your thinking?
Please share…

Limitation would be depending on on the team itself if they would decide to limit participants into each bounty program. Its true that the more participants the lesser potential income you would able to make since participants are too many which it can be explained by basic calculations.Usually team doesnt make any limit specially on bounty programs because owners or teams would be glad to have lots of people to spread awareness as long they do only give fix percentage allocation they dont matter or mind on how many would join up.
1104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL or REGRET!!! on: April 07, 2018, 04:22:59 PM
I sold my 6k ripple coins last night! Embarrassed

Lucky you!  Cheesy
Some HODL-fans still waiting - but unfortunately now price almost ten times less then you have sold.

Well if you're already down that much then it would be more logical to just wait everything out instead of losing a chance to recover along with the market. We have to understand that it's a process that has repeated several times in the past already and the market could go lower and the losses higher,  but recovery is almost certain as well.
Even we have seen many times on how recovery of the price happens but still people do always failed out to sustain or make themselves on holding state which they do decide up to cut losses while the market is still on bearish. If you cant hold then most likely you will lose money and when market turns green then you will surely regret specially when you didn't able to buyback while it was still cheap. If someone loses money then its normal that someone do make money as well.
1105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IS ETH GONNA REACH $200? on: April 06, 2018, 05:24:10 PM
As of january 2018, the eth price reaches its peak for about $1000, but it is very opposite as of now. The price of ethereum keeps dropping every week. Is it possible that ethereum will soon reach $200 for this market bloodbath?
Everything is possible into this very unpredictable market. If we do reach out new heights its still possible that we would go back to the prices when we are before. Going back down can happen anytime and as an investor you should really be ready into this kind of instances because if you don't ready yourself you will surely stress out and panic. If ETH would hit up that range then I guess its the best time to accumulate even more.
1106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market Goes Down and Down on: April 05, 2018, 09:18:27 PM
I think the downtrend of cryptocurrencies is almost over. We had seen recently healthy market correction. Now it is time to calm down for a while and stabilise before the start of new long term uptrend
Previous observations indicate that after a period of fall follows a period of stability as long as the period of previous growth. It turns out that if the bearish trend is over now, then we will see a stable market until the middle of summer, after which a new bullish trend is possible.
We aren't still sure if the bearish trend is already over and we don't even know if this middle of summer we would able to see bullish trend just like on what happened on last year.No one really knows on what would happen ahead but talking into the thing where OP is trying to elaborate here which market goes down and down into a significant percentage which is really a normal thing into this very unpredictable and volatile market.
1107  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN BACK AS THAT WAS on: April 05, 2018, 08:39:22 PM
It will go back to 19K and even surpass that price, the question is when?
For people who believe it will happen, let's just continue to hold, good things are coming ahead and soon we will get through this dump
and once again we will hear expressions like "to the moon".
"To the moon" "When Lambo" words would always be mentioned by most people into this crypto world and most of us are hoping for price to shoot up.We do all have the same target but the questions would still remain unanswered since no one can able to point out on when this thing would happen. For now we just simply hold of into our coins or even just on bitcoin and believe for future price upward movements.Anything is possible into this very volatile market the important thing on here is that we do know on when to exit when we are already profited.
1108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: I bought ripple when it is $3 on: April 04, 2018, 06:47:46 PM
I am crying right now, because I realize that am the stupidest man alive, I bought ripple when it is $3 and now it is 0.50 I can't sell off right now because I will make the same mistake I made before. Is their anybody that made the mistake like me I need you to raise your hand up Tongue
For sure there are lots since this are common mistake of those new people specially into this crypto market.Experienced traders or investors wont probably do the same thing because they do know the price is being pumped up with just basing or seeing its entire cap you would able to say that $3 price on XRP is already considered as on HYPE side but yet there are lots of newbie traders and investors didn't see such thing, all they did is to buy into those pump state which would normally result into negative later on when profit taking do happen by previous trader who did get inside earlier.
1109  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you follow trading advice from crypto influencers? on: April 04, 2018, 06:21:51 PM
I think that the cryptocurrency market us unique, because many investors don't understand blockchain technology.  So they rely upon experts on YouTube, Twitter, and Telegram for information, analysis, and advice.  As a result, we have the phenomenon of crypto influencers.  Some are reputable, like Carter Thomas of Coin Mastery, but others are not.  What's your opinion on Crypto influencers?  Are they good for this market and the cryptocurrency movement?  Do you take advice from them?  And who's good to follow?
If you did just invest for the sake on making money without knowing further on all the things involve on crypto then it wont really be a good thing. Why? if you do rely only on influencers words towards on such recommendations then you wont even know that you are already being manipulated because anytime those people will really tell things which would possibly only be a fud or basing with his own view or intuition. We do know that this is really very a unpredictable market that's why I don't really make a fan on listening anytime with their words.
1110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin Cash will take place of Bitcoin? on: April 03, 2018, 11:32:25 PM
Bitcoin price is going down day by day..
Is bitcoin cash have that much potential to overcome the bitcoin?
I don't think so, even with bitcoin cash pretending it is bitcoin and especially with the new people joining they may get some momentum from that but long term it will not become bitcoin no matter how hard they try, it's just another fork like many others.
I don't know why do still some people do believe that a forked coin would surpass to the coin on where it was forked. The original would stays original even though theres no permanent on the world but we can rest assured that surpassing it with its fork wont really be possible.People would still remain on the origin of cryptocurrency which is bitcoin.Prices as of now is starting to climb up and its still early to say about bitcoins price decrease day by day.
1111  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Merit Cycling on: April 03, 2018, 11:01:00 PM
I am a single poster and it was clear that I can not compete with merit exchanging groups or friends. And there will be probably also some kind of market for purchasing merits.

When the merit system was introduced, I was one stage prior to reaching Sr Member that requires an activity of 240. Now my activity is 280 and I am still Full Member and probably will forever.

I have seen a lot of shit and and spam posts on this forum without any consequences and as a honest single poster you have now to pay the price for not connected to inside teams!

I totally agree with you..as I was in exactly same position as you prior to merit introduction.
My proposal was to give initial merit proportionally to how close you're to next level (so for
example you and me would get about 240 instead 100) but I was bashed hard by people who,
suprise surprise, made account week or two before you and me and just ranked up got 250 merit

At this rate you and me are set back about 3 years
I have to admit I did not read how this merit system is working. But you have a point here that we were one step to Sr Member and getting 250 merits instead. Now we have the same position like someone who just reached Full Member.

I just see that you have the same Activity like me, even though you already received 16 merits. So how much merits do we need to rank up to Sr Member?

250, so in your case 150 more...at this rate you'll reach it in year 2036...and I'm not joking, I calculated it
At least in some signature campaigns you receive unlike more per week or post if you received 5 merits as Full Member. And in the signature campaign I currently participate the difference between Full Member and Sr Member is only 25%, while I have already seen differences of 50% in other signature campaigns.

We will see if there will be any adjustments in the foreseeable future. As soon as I get 2 merits more, I should be fine for signature campaigns. Smiley
One of the examples with those campaigns are handled by yahoo since hes the only one or the first campaign manager who do require merits when it comes on categorizing payment structure on each rank.It do have significant different tier for those who don't have merit and for those who have which is quiet fair to everybody but would really differ into their weekly payment which its normal for those who have merit would receive more than into those who haven't.This is why merit is being abused for sometime because of such requirement.
1112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Dip is near". Stay safe on: April 03, 2018, 09:50:02 PM
All hodlers and have patience in bear market will be rewarded when bull run starts. I salute to everyone who have hold thier coins until this day.  Bigger profit is awaiting for us.
That current price dip did really shake out those who had weak hands which they do panic sell when they do saw the market is declining. For those who still hold will really be rewarded soon when the bull market comes once again. It might be tomorrow or into another day or other month or year.No one really knows but atleast we do still held our position no matter how bad the market condition is.
1113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Risky move ? on: April 02, 2018, 10:45:14 PM
Not know why but i did sell all my alts today. And bought Tron TRX for them all. Now i hold a nice amount of TRX  Grin

MC is down to 280b today and the market not going anywhere soon. So i decided to buy the hype around TRX and move all my $ to this coin. Know this can be risky but if the price go up just a few cents i will make a nice profit.

What particular altcoins did you sell off? If those aren't too special then its a good step but rather a risky one but if you do sold good ranking altcoins then you did a dumb thing since you just focused on one.I don't really prefer on buying something which I do heard some hypes into a particular coin. Diversify is always my main aim, still risky but you already divided it number of partitions. If the entire cap would go even more lower then expect on negative floating if it goes to your plan then sure profits would be made.
1114  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading pump and dump group on: April 02, 2018, 09:28:11 PM
Personaly i encounter this group they called there groups a crypto pumpers or anything they use to call there group. They are recruiting people to join there group and say they were pump that coins or tokens but saddenly you lose your money with this mudos. Do you guys think there are some group that truely helps our new trader to earn?
If you do like to proceed to become a trader. Searching groups isn't bad but we do all know that there are lots of P&D groups which will even make our trading learnings worst. This is why don't join into these kind of things because most likely you would really end up on being behind.Their modus is really already common and yet known on most people here on this forum. They will just mainly use you for them to make money. If you cant get out early as you can then expect a negative impact.
1115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Share please tips to know project scam or not? on: April 01, 2018, 10:45:55 PM
My strategy is to look at:

1. The idea
2. Team and advisors
3. White Paper
4. ICObench rating
5. Social pages and site
6. Token Metrics and Prototype

But after all there is no 100% guarantee that it will be not a scam. But it is all you can do from your side so you need some luck also.

You missed the development team and LinkedIn profile to share here. You may consider including with in the team and advisors list but if the newbie has been came here to invest on ICO means he will not be know about it mate.

Why I have asked you to check the LinkedIn profile, because they will be creating fake profile of the CEO and other people in the friendlist. If the legit person you will be able to find with the age about LinkedIn profile itself so there would not be any issue for investing ICO then.
Complete newbies wont really bother out or will definitely missed out on having those check-ups on where they don't really bother themselves on checking out on the team behind it.This is what most people do missed that's why they are being easily scammed because they haven't checked out teams profile first before investing. This is one of the most important factors to be considered first because you can picture out and differentiate projects which are shady and which are transparent.
1116  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the most influential factor that triggers bitcoin prices to fall down? on: April 01, 2018, 09:11:48 PM
Bitcoin is very volatile. It goes up and down at no time. But I started to think what causes its values to go down. These past few days, its prices are notably lower that last year's values. Last year, I believe, during the first few months, its prices are likewise low. Do bitcoin prices go down every January to February? Does it have a logical association?

NEWS is one of the biggest factors that affect bitcoin price in the market, especially when it comes to well-known people in cryptocurrency world. another factor of this are those exchange and country whos turning bitcoin down, but ass bitcoin fall many people want to jump in on t\its dip that makes the coin price go up or even stop the fall of this bitcoin. We are just so lucky that bitcoin already build its foundation to the people all around the world and got so many supporters.
Regulation, Banning and Pure Fuds would really affect the entire market which can be considered as the main factors why prices are way too volatile but same as you said bitcoin cant really go dip or easily died due its already being distributed into lots of investors which price manipulation cant really be easily done unlike on traditional local fiat currencies where there would be always a manipulation. As an investor instead on worrying or panic you should got used to it with those movements and we should seek out the best position for us to make profits.
1117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Havven ICO raised more than Power Ledger - $30 million?! on: April 01, 2018, 08:28:48 PM
I know lots of people participated in the Havven ICO and saw this today: https://www.crowdfundinsider.com/2018/03/129035-record-breaking-havvens-crypto-blockchain-monetary-system-stablecoin-closes-90-minutes/

Blows my mind that they surpassed Power Ledger. Seems like the ICO phase isn't over just yet. Thoughts?

these people are a joke, i bet sooner or later neither cryptocurrencies nor national currencies will have price stability.
The price won't ever get stable and the developers can't make the coin worth more than Bitcoin. The project is going to be a failure.
Very well said which is actually true and completely agree that price wont really get stable no matter what since we do know on whats the main feature of cryptocurrencies which its price volatileness and come to think off on how many projects in the market as of now but most of them do end up on failing because on having the same or redundant ideas which isn't really needed at all this is why interest would really be done in a matter of time. Talking Havven I didn't still even read up that project but having a big accumulation doesn't mean that they would be better among others.Time would really tell.
1118  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Genesis mining super bad payouts! on: March 31, 2018, 05:37:15 PM
Genesis mining now recommends taking payouts in ltc so you can get over the minimum requirements.

I take mostly doge for exchange. zcash pays out every day so i stand on that one.

Which makes it even more of a shady deal, in my opinion. If people really are mining crypto with their contracts, then they should be getting a share of coins mined, not being able to request in other currency or even needing a minimum payout.

Bitcoin price aside, mining coins itself is still as productive as ever. To OP, cut your losses and don't renew contracts. Learn your lesson and spend your money buying Bitcoin if you really want an investment. Prices have not been this good for a while, probably not again for long more.
This is indeed a shady thing why they would give another coins if you are supposing to invest and do like to receive a specific coin on which contract you had putted in.Giving you out another options for the sake on getting minimum withdrawal isn't really appropriate at all.If you do have money is stucked then you don't have any choice but to accept the terms or another divert way as long you can able to pull out your funds.
1119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Digital money or virtual currency? on: March 31, 2018, 04:24:17 PM
Hello friends.
I have a problem to share.
My country is average. They are too familiar with outdated and old technologies.
In my country many people still understand Bitcoin as virtual currency. BTC does not bring anything to life. They just think Bitcoin investment is gambling, chance, black red.
Why?
Why do not they look at Bitcoin, ETH or blockchain technology for the present.
Blockchain minimizes transportation costs, intermediates and risks.
Personally, I always try to absorb and learn nonstop.
And you? How is your country?

Convince them that it is a real currency . It is a first decentralized digital currency as the system works without a central bank and single administrator. We can fulfilled our dreams with this currency people are doing transaction trading selling and earnings money from it so defiantly it is a currency and worldwide payment system.

Convince them that it is a real currency ?

You are suggesting or advising wrong thing on here since bitcoin never become a real currency which can really be used but rather than its just on digital currency which do have significant use when it comes to online transactions. You cant really force people to believe on what you believe. If you have done your job on trying to convince them but they do just neglect you then let them be as long you do know the advantage when you are engaging into this technology.
1120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy low.... sell high! on: March 30, 2018, 10:24:08 PM
Well,  They always say, "Buy low, Sell High!"

What are you buying now?
Buy low sell high is a basic stuff but would really be definitely the most difficult to be done on trading. Those sayings are just common since who would be the one to buy high and sell low? These mistakes is usually committed by most traders. For now I am making some purchase into those coins specially included on marketcap which is 80% down to its ATH.
