Übrigens scheint mein Problem wirklich am USB HUB zu liegen. Habe heute einen 49 Port USB Hub getestet, da laufen mehrere ohne Probleme...
Werde mal weitere HUBs testen.

yxt bietet die S1 zum Dumpingpreis an, hier würde ich an deiner Stelle zuschlagen.
Diejenigen die rumnölen, dass es zu teuer ist blenden leider meist aus, dass hier in Deutschland auch Umsatzsteuer anfallen und auch Kosten bei der Einfuhr entstehen. Außerdem gibt es hier Garantie/Gewährleistung, die Du in der Form kaum erhältst wenn Du im Ausland bestellst. Vom Fernabsatz mal ganz zu schweigen. Wenn man dies alles berücksichtigt müsste yxt den Preis eigentlich noch etwas erhöhen...

Ach, im Prinzip relativ harmlos... gab Rückfragen zum Thema Firma / Eori-Nummer wegen der Einfuhrumsatzsteuer.... aber die haben mich erst am Nachmittag erreicht und natürlich war es dann für eine Auslieferung zu spät.... Achso, das Übliche also. War doch aber UPS, oder? |

Side note: I have 35 running this moment. Every piece passed customs with no problem. I payed tha vat and tax and that's all.
You should better be thankful that bitmain reduced the price for customs in the past so that you only had to pay a piece of the normal costs. Everyone here importing hardware should be aware that he might have to provide a proof of payment even if it is paid with BTC. And it is no magic required to recalculate that into USD.... It is quite naive to buy larger amounts ignoring the fact that full customs taxes need to be paid.. |

You should be lucky if you only pay a reduced price. This is quite risky for Bitmain.
In fact I assume you have to pay full customs tax if someone at customs wants to see the invoice / proof of payment.
In my current case my order is stuck at customs (shipped with UPS) because customs picked that order (2 of my 3 orders passed without problems, 1 is stuck now) to check it. Although the correct amount was on the invoice (not the reduced one) they need a proof of purchase ;-)
Since I could send them the confirmation email + Transaction Details I do not expect problems. But I would have them if they did not declare the correct value...

Nur um sicher zu gehen, der Dualminer direkt am USB Port also ohne HUB läuft stabil?
Habe gerade mal 2 direkt an den PC angeschlossen, laufen seit ca. 20 Minuten ohne Probleme |

Hmm, wobei ja eigentlich gerade der Dlink in Sachen USB Standard ein guter HUB sein soll. Vielleicht liegt es am Chipsatz des Computers, hast du das ganze mal auf unterschiedlichen Systemen probiert?

Ich denke die Wahl des USB HUBs spielt eine entscheidende Rolle. Unter Linux habe ich es mit der aktuellsten Version vom GIT kompiliert, dort erhalte ich genauso COM Fehler wie unter Windows (mit dem Bundle von der Webseite des Herstellers). Habe 5 Miner zum Testen und mehr als einen habe ich nie länger als 30 Minuten stabil laufen lassen können.

Kann hier jemand einen HUB empfehlen?
Habe es mit D-Link 7 Port HUBs probiert, sowie mit einem TeckNet 10 Port USB 3.0 HUB. Alles HUBs, die prima mit sämtlichen Bitcoin Minern liefen. Litecoin Miner bekomme ich allerdings keinen stabil zum Laufen damit. Weder unter Windows noch unter Linux (habe den Guide oben genutzt).

Is there a recommended USB HUB which is available in Europe?
I am having my problems with D-Link 7 Port HUBs which were perfect for the Block Erupters some time ago, and also my TeckNet USB 3.0 HUB does not like them. I am not able to get more than one device running without COM Errors :-(

Are there any recommendations for USB HUBs? I have several D-Link DUB-H7 7 Port USB HUBs but it does not seem to be possible to let them run stable with more than 1 Dualminer. If I attach more than one I always get "Comms error"s (Failed to open dualminer on //.//COMXY. I should mention that I use the bundled dualminer version of cgminer directly with these parameters: cgminer.exe --scrypt --lo -o stratum+tcp://global.wemineltc.com:3334 -u User -p Pass -S //./COM22 -S //./COM24 -S //./COM26 --dualminer-pll 850 I would appreciate any help, currently I am not able to get more than one dualminer running stable for more than 30 Minutes (on Win 8.1). I have had 4 running in each of my 3 d-link H7 hubs for a couple weeks no with no issues in scrypt mode. Win7 with cgwatcher/cgminer. Do you use the cgminer version which is bundled with the gui miner from dualminer.com? Could you please send me (or post here) your cgwatcher conf file (without pool if you like) since I think did not set all parameters right there. Thank you |

I also bought directly from Jack on February 8th, but did not receive them yet. I asked for a shipping date several times but did not receive a reply at all the last time. At the moment I would be careful on ordering more units although I was planning to do so, that first one was only a test order...

Möchte ich nicht versprechen solange sie keine CE Kennung haben. Mir ist das Risiko etwas groß dass irgendwas mit den Dingern bei euch passiert und ich am Ende sonst dafür haften muss... |
