1121  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: Selling 3 4L.in domains, $3 for each on: June 05, 2016, 08:23:04 PM
What would be the next year renewal cost if I wish to extend buying it for another year from Godaddy ?
1122  Local / India / Re: Bitcoin in India on: June 05, 2016, 08:19:26 PM
It's possible but only if it manages to be the invisible, enabling technology rail. Too much visibility early on will be a net negative for mainstream adoption in India.
Early on ? I think a lot of people already have had an introduction to bitcoin, but unfortunately its a negative view of it eg. being used by hackers or ransonwares. It can get accepted in the stores, but I doubt it as alternate payments systems would probably appeal more to people .
1123  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best poker website with webclient? on: June 05, 2016, 06:27:10 PM
A simple google search found bitsPoker:  https://www.bitspoker.com/

I haven't tried it nor did I log in, but there are 69 players with 14 tables running.  Decent enough if you only need to pass the time.  I usually recommend pokerstars if you seriously want to get into poker.

Never heard of the site. Do some research before you play on it. 69 players which pretty much is non-existent on bitcoin forums could be just bots. Also saw this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=426447.0 , but no follow up on it.
1124  Local / India / Re: trading gold is illegal on: June 05, 2016, 05:08:31 PM
It mostly has to do with the understanding of bitcoin by the policy and law makers and their personal interests. A lot of people believe that bitcoin is produced out of thin air and therefore has no value and is just a ponzi. Gold on the other hand is not as such, hence it is considered to be legal.
1125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you trust to bitcoin casinos? on: June 05, 2016, 05:03:37 PM
It depends if you are asking this in regard with the gambles on the site or as an investor. For the first , provable fair solves the problem, however there have been posts about how despite being provably fair they  have an edge and cheat players. SO ultimately it comes down to what kind of check you can do before gambling your money.

As for investing. I honestly will never trust a casino owner with any funds. I have about 3.5 BTC over at dice ninja an year back and they ran away with it. There is nothing I or anyone could do after. So in short, I would never invest in any bitcoin casino with my money.
1126  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Smart DNS Proxy 6 Month Subscription ($5) on: June 05, 2016, 04:20:31 PM
I can do that vouch if you are still looking for one. What is the difference between this and using a vpn in general to visit those sites ?
1127  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best poker website with webclient? on: June 05, 2016, 04:18:50 PM
hmm... do you alrdy trying nitrogensports ?  nitrogensports have poker or blackjack, btw im never gambling again so idk the update on there , last year no ppl want playing poker on nitrogensport but now idk

Thanks for the suggestion, it seems to have some activity. looks good so far Smiley

Also check out betcoin. They have good activity during some time of the day as well. Usually its not a lot of traffic on any bitcoin poker related sites lately. Even SwC has traffic only during US day time and that too mostly on tournies.
1128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: June 05, 2016, 04:17:20 PM
I would say just give up, and create an environment that you don't visit those sites anymore. Install software on your pc that does that. I used to have a serious gambling problems a few months back. Still do, but I have taken steps like never having too much btc on me which doesn't let me give in to the urge of gambling.
1129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The only way for Bitcoin to catch on is through banks on: June 05, 2016, 04:08:59 PM
This might be somewhat true, but it is never going to happen. Doesn't mean it won't catch up. Banks would never integrate bitcoin in their system for obvious reasons. They don't even like transparency.

I don't "hate" banks, but I also know they have a history of having crooks and and shady AF people working for them. Housing Bubble Collapse of 2008 anyone?

I'm sure once banks learn of ways to exploit use Bitcoin to their advantage it certainly will catch on with them.

That wasn't just the banks but lenders/banks/investors equally responsible for all of that.
1130  Economy / Services / Re: Verify phone number service with cheap price |hotmail,facebook,gmail,twillio.... on: June 05, 2016, 04:07:29 PM
Will you be able to do future verifications on the same number ? Some sites in future end up asking for a verification on the number registered with.
1131  Local / Buyer/ Seller Reputations (India) / Re: Indian localbitcoins scammer list on: April 18, 2016, 05:04:16 AM
i never used localbitcoins but i heard from my friend's that there are so many scammers.so i didn't use it.
never buy or sell BTC without escrow.
that's the moral.
I trade on localbitcoins.. yeah there might be a few scammers..but the escrow takes care of it.. As long as u r doing bank transfers..everything should be fine.. since u release the money only once u get it into your account. If the trader is lying..u can dispute the trade and win it fairly.
