1121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New blog on investing and trading crypto on: October 04, 2016, 12:38:58 AM
Only suggestion I have is to space the text out a little bit on the blog post.
Right now its a huge wall of text.
Adding some paragraphs/ indentation/ spaces will make it much easier to read.

Other than that, it looks very good. Simple layouts are always better for blog posts.

Good luck with the blog!
1122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin to 5.2 $ on: October 03, 2016, 10:30:07 PM
Source on this?
I really want to believe, but Litecoin hasn't been doing anything recently, even with the announcements of more support from software and hardware wallets,
its like everyone forgot about this coin.
1123  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ICO DeClouds going to scam 299.89740741 BTC on: October 03, 2016, 06:16:17 PM
That's some good sleuthing.
I wouldn't expect someone who was so good at pulling a con like this to be doxed so easily,
but I guess anyone can be careless and leave footprints on the web.

AWS SES is "Simple Email Service"?
I'm guessing people buy and sell these accounts for email spam campaigns.
1124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][1CR] 1CRedit Coin Relaunch on: October 03, 2016, 05:52:54 PM
Yeah so its nice that some "devs" are "working on games" and that there will be a "big announcement soon"
but we've seen other "coins" that ended up being a total scam recently

This guy got close to $200k off a website and some doctored pictures.
1125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH : Devcon 2 and it's effect on Ethereum Price on: October 03, 2016, 02:26:29 PM
ETH seems pretty stable at this point.
The fact that Coinbase has started to accept it probably means it will be around a while, I think.
Once a big company accepts a coin I think that's the first major step to becoming a legitimate payment option.

No problem thanks for your reply!
The transaction did come through after a few hours so its no big deal, I was just surprised because other withdraws around the same amount had been closer to the 20-30 minute range.

Other than that, everything on the site has been working great.
I recently noticed that the eSport grading seems to happen somewhat faster.
Not sure if more people are working on it, but the time has definitely improved.

Love the site so far and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good place to do some wagering using Bitcoin as the payment method.
1127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Estimated time for this transaction to confirm? on: October 02, 2016, 09:37:19 PM
Yeah I have never had this issue with this site before,
any other time I requested a withdraw they processed it with an appropriate fee and I received payment within twenty or thirty minutes.

I hope they aren't getting cheap and causing issues for their customers over a couple cents.
1128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's CryptoNote Windows CPU Miner v3.5 on: October 02, 2016, 09:32:49 PM
Google really does not like these files.
Google Drive blocks the download as a virus, and the Mega link can not be downloaded through Google Chrome.
(Zip is malicious and Chrome has blocked it.)
I'm guessing they are starting to block things to do with bitcoin mining scripts?
1129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Estimated time for this transaction to confirm? on: October 02, 2016, 08:40:53 PM
Thanks for the quick reply.
I will check out the site you linked.
Transaction fees and confirmation times are one of the (many) things that I still don't understand very well and need to do some research on.
1130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Estimated time for this transaction to confirm? on: October 02, 2016, 08:32:41 PM
I've got a pending withdraw from a gambling site where they sent the payment with a low transaction fee.
After several hours I started to worry that the payment will not arrive.
If anyone is good with transaction fees and can give me some kind of estimate of how long this transaction will take,
or advice on what to do, it would be greatly appreciated.

Transaction number:
e0a17db7e462f06e1f3a77e903791fcb6d35cab7a4a4eadeec504558780e2396

https://blockchain.info/tx/e0a17db7e462f06e1f3a77e903791fcb6d35cab7a4a4eadeec504558780e2396?show_adv=true

Fee rate shows as
0.0002008888888888889 BTC per kB
Is this too low? What is an appropriate fee?
1131  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: October 02, 2016, 06:42:45 PM
If you have never been forced to resort to robbing, stealing, or selling drugs etc to make ends meet,
you should thank god that you live a decent life.
No one that is in these situations does these things because they want to. But you must do what you are forced to in order to stay alive.
1132  Economy / Gambling / Re: ◥◤ NitrogenSports ◢ Largest & Most Trusted BTC Sportsbook ◣ NFL Parlay Sunday ◥◤ on: October 02, 2016, 03:37:06 PM
Wanted to post an update since I've been doing some betting on the site the last couple weeks.

I do have one complaint about making a withdraw. Currently the money I requested (a small amount) is still an unconfirmed transaction hours later because it was sent with a very small transaction fee. I would suggest the admins look at the fees they are setting so people aren't waiting for their coins. Trying to save a few dollars might cause a lot of issues in the long run if transactions get stuck.
1133  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Skills vs Luck *poll* on: October 02, 2016, 03:01:09 PM
Skill is more important, but you still need a bit of luck on your side.
Look at the best poker players. They don't win every hand.
They make money by winning more hands than a less skilled player.
They know when to push their advantage by betting big, when to fold due to the risk being greater than the reward.
But you still need a bit of luck to get some decent cards.  Grin
I say 75% skill, 25% luck.
1134  Economy / Speculation / Re: Segwit is comming soon, only a matter of time we explode to 1000+ on: October 02, 2016, 02:37:29 PM
Bitcoin is still king, at least for now.
Every exchange needs a common currency to convert altcoins.
So even if people stopped spending Bitcoin directly, they would still need a way to convert one coin to another.
BTC is the gold standard right now. That may change eventually, but for now $600 coins are a decent investment.
You probably won't lose money, and you could stand to make a nice profit.

With Segwit coming soon, and the possibility of some new services like Mega accepting Bitcoin, the chances that the price go up are even better.
1135  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: SIGNS OF SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN on: October 02, 2016, 02:32:08 PM
Escrow isn't a terrible idea, but it adds some complication for the admins,
and unless they are being compensated, it may not be worth their time.
It would do a bit to allow only companies that are reputable to post on this site, which would be a good thing,
but it would be a lot of work to verify and keep track of all of these websites.

Allowing people to earn from a signature campaign is a privilege,
and it's up to each user to make sure they join a campaign that is trusted and will pay them what they are promised.

1136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 02, 2016, 02:19:23 PM
TrueCryptonaire has been talking about Monero for a long time. It's not hard to search post history.
I wouldn't be surprised if you told me he had tens, or possibly hundreds of thousands of Monero coin.

Believe in Monero or don't its your money to invest.  Grin
But personally I think Monero, Ethereum and Bitcoin are the only coins that have any long term investment potential right now.
Everything else is just junk bonds to be traded on an exchange for a quick profit.
1137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Taushet USB Monero Cold / Offline Wallet Generator on: October 02, 2016, 12:43:49 PM
This is cool.
With it being open source, it should be okay, as long as it actually gets reviewed.
(I am one of those weirdos who runs a checksum for everything I download.)

Appreciate your work and will check this out when I get a chance. I hate the idea of all my Monero being on an exchange/ web wallet.
1138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 02, 2016, 03:26:30 AM
Either you guys are fucking psychic, lucksacks, or the graphs were right,
because it seems like we've hit the bottom at 0.012.
If I had a million dollars I would probably spend half of it on Monero right now and laugh all the way to the bank as the price climbed back up over the next couple months.
1139  Economy / Goods / Re: Looking for someone with Amazon Prime to buy something for me on: October 01, 2016, 11:52:25 PM
EDIT
not sure if I can ship it directly to you will have to check my shipping options.
1140  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is see the new pump is building up, $660 in 2 weeks on: October 01, 2016, 08:28:47 PM
Well I just cashed out some money in Bitcoin from a gambling site.
Hoping they send it to me before the next rise in price so I can make a few bucks off the increase.

Price has been stable so long, whales are probably slowly buying coins so they don't show their hand before the next spike.
