Absolutely Cryptsy is safe. I was there when this occurred, and it was addressed nearly immediately..Seems over-blown by a hater to me.
it was addressed by who? do tell us, and what time that happened.

once i get a response from cryptst i'll post it. tho i really have lil to prove since you already know the chat name meaning u wer logged on or hv bn told about it by those who were.
Yu have given us no reason to believe this ridiculous claim, without screenshots, or other proof. i'm sure this already confirms it ...and did cryptsy reply to your post ?
...are you sure about your right procedure about security ?
i tried waiting for a mod to come online, got bored. everytime i click support, it jus greys out and has that circle thing with no change. tried accesing my account a third time and ended up in another one. i've given up on logging into to MY ACCOUNT for now, lest i end up in a very tempting account, or end up with access to the whole exchanges btc wallet...because then i'd have a new BMW. Post a screen shot of this jopeto account with a "significant" balance. Or is this like when you said you were opening a crypto bank in South Africa? but it would be unfair to just post the guys account without hearing the full story from cryptsy. i got the auto response and an email, to which i've asked a few questions, once i get my response i'll link it.

As i post this, i have been logged onto two seperate accounts each with significant balances and i've posted in the chatbox as proof. i even have a screenshot of a guys' account, i suggest you withdraw your funds quickly, not everyone is as honest as me. @ Cryptsy, i expect a big deposit in my account for not tampering with these accounts and funds and ruining your reputation in the process.

Hi all
I've enjoyed my experience with armory and want to know how to fork it for the alts i am interested in, if you have an idea of how to do it or a small guide, your assistance would be appreciated.

All the work is done, just having sync issues, also git pushing is erratic with my current net provider.
The sync issues have something to do with the many changes we've made before. i sent a request to someone who dealt with this before, i hope she replies by day's end. once i get the directions, it wont even be an hour and we'll be in business.

some individuals made a gpu implementation and use it amongst themselves, once people realised it, they moved elsewhere. Nothing is stopping you from patching cgminer. I have a family, a fractured work environment, and am perfectly happy mining with cpu right now. If someone else has a gpu miner, would it benefit them to keep it to themselves, or to release it to garner recognition and donations? If you go look at the pool, what you see is what you get. It is pretty much the whole network. There is one cat that has over 100 mhash, about 12 hours out of the day. That right there tells me he is a sysadmin, and he is using his fringe benefits for mining. were you around when orbitcoin happened? or where you there when gamecoin was dumped? or recently have you seen COL? if you still think like that, you are yet to understand the norms of cryptos.

If you're going to make an altcoin here's some features you might want to think about. The most pressing ones imho are in bold.
- faster than Bitcoin - open surface / API for decentralised exchange: -interfaces with ripple? -or with another cryptocurrency that doesn't exist yet? (for price stability via easier speculation) - ^ and/or built in escrow (or multisig) - related to the above, namecoin functionality but wider in scope than just domains - proof of stake, quorum efficiency improvements - prime number search or similar - fixed small blockchain through mini-blockchain - i2p, tor support - merged mine compatible with another large coin for fast security startup - no inflation built in at the start, switch to demurrage in 90 years time (next generation)
Other aspects to think about: - programmed in something assessable, quick to dev with, i.e. python (pybt) - could be applicable to a particular community for some reason
i get to work with a large variety on these forums, i can safely say that faster than BTC has been done and perfected....however it has sacrificed some security. Ripple is a no go, any form of interfacing that branches out would need years of work and may still be impractical due to size issues. Just imagine trying to corral two or more seperate herds of cows the escrow idea is good in theory, but again, size and security will need serious attention. Proof of stake is what the copy pasters are playing with now, so after a rush of coins, we'll see the viable implementations. prime numbers have existing candidates. one once argued phone call encryption for all that delays initial connections by a fraction of a second by picking a random hash from the chain and using it to secure calls. basically, lets look for things we can practically apply our computing power to. the mini blockchain idea requires breakthroughs that i think are still a year or two away if people get serious. merged mining is nigh impossible for sCrypt, believe me, we tried and are still trying. the last part........why?

|
|
actually, we were hoping stake would be reduced in december?

Why not release a copy that trades and sends a % of the profit to you?
That's impossible to do. and unfortunately, people can't be honest enough to pay up if you give them in advance. oh well, like i said the price is rather steep for me, but if you ever feel generous drop me a copy.
|
|
|
i've been hearing murmurs of a gpu implementation, though i cannot speak until i have tested it myself.

Why not release a copy that trades and sends a % of the profit to you? That way once a potential customer agrees, you can agree to a 2 BTC charge deducted from actual profits over trading period? this gives you more customers and gives users a sense of security in that you only get paid for actual work done by your software.

ok most of the work is done, only cutting out old clients left. i'm setting the block height for the fork to 24 hours after release.

hi , sorry for the delay, i'm asking around for a fix against rouge clients. seems some are doing it for the fuzz.
