whats the average buy in everyone is doing in this ico? I noticed theres quite a few bitcoin put into it now but not sure how many people have actually contributed. I find it a bit risky putting much into icos these days. Burnt too many times.

Getting bank cooperating directly will require some effort
I agree. Wouldn't banks be prone to develop their own system rather working with platforms such as waves? We want them to cooperate by being connected as fiat gateway and enjoying the platform at the same time. We will present tech to banks directly and maybe they will use it someday. We are starting with payment providers. |

I agree. Wouldn't banks be prone to develop their own system rather working with platforms such as waves? As far as I understand for banks to be able to implement their own block chain network(by the way biggest banks are already working creating their block chain ) there must be a certain amount of nodes /coins distributed widely for the network to function and to be robust .So their odds are 1% to 99%  I think this is interesting since banks implementing their own blockchain ultimately would like to remain centralized. What waves and other platforms are attempting to do is decentralize the entire system. Is it me or is the crypto community waging a battle against centralized banking? Crypto community is mixed and one of the groups I believe the one which is honestly striving for better cause. I am beginning to believe in this project as well. Like someone mentioned below it would be nice to read the more technical white paper to get a better sense in the potential of the project. Could someone help me understand how these platforms, such as waves or even ethereum are profitable even if they are decentralized? Other than the markets where coins are traded or even coins themselves, wouldn't these decentralized platforms ultimately viewed as non-profit?

I think 1 BTC gives about 12500 waves right now, but as more people invest, the amount of waves per BTC will decrease. Each individual waves token will go up in value though, so you are not losing any value, it's just the amount of tokens that decrease. 1BTC = 13103.95519462 Waves right now. I'm not sure about the 20% bonus (or 10%) when it will be add to te balance. the bonus period is over. read the first post the details are given. Bonuses are being added on the fly, when you were depositing for example 1 BTC through the first 24 hours of the ICO , your Waves balance was calculated as if you were depositing 1.2 BTC up to the last seconds of the first 24 hours. Now when someone is depositing 1 BTC, his Waves balance will be calculated as if he was depositing 1.05 BTC until the 15th of May(we are now in 5% bonus period). All Waves balances will be changing in your accounts up to the last day of the ICO while new investors are coming. |

It is opportunity for asset holders of Sasha`s existing projects on the NXT blockchain which will be migrating next to the Waves blockchain. Swapped assets are burnt and projects will continue on new blockchain with lower supply. It is very tiny amount comparing to existing total of BTC in the ICO so nothing to worry about. |

I have not followed any swapping so maybe I don't know what I'm about to say, but mxxxxxx wrote that you may swap TO waves FROM some NXT asset. Do you have these NXT assets and would like to trade them for Waves?
