OK. Noob to ICOs here. I already love my WAVES and have grown attached to them. Lol  What I would like to do, is hang onto them after the ICO launches. I assume we would be able to start trading them on a REPUTABLE exchange when the time comes. Sooooo, my question is this: will WAVES appreciate in value as I hang on to them? Or is it all a gamble on whether the price will go down or up? I know nobody can predict the future, but what happened with previous ICOs with the same magnitude and popularity as WAVES? I will settle for educated guesses I guess that you already know the answers to your questions mate  Everyone is hoping for a price appreciation, but who knows? it is likely that many will at least sell a portion of their holdings at launch and continue to hold a bit for the future. Once the Waves team launches the Waves platform, they have the possibility to access funds and start working on building and developing for DAOs for Waves or bring new features to the platform etc. Things are looking good and everyone has high hopes for what Waves will bring the coming months. Of course it's all a gamble, and the project could crash tomorrow and everything comes burning down. With that said, many have invested predicting a nice ROI and so far it's looking promising. |

I think ultimately it depends on the amount of ICO money that will be used for investing into the project. The more the devs use ICO money to invest the bigger the project can become. |

Just got in on Waves... Unfortunately I missed the 20% It's ok, I also missed the 20% but luckily get in the 10% and you are still in for 5% anyway. It is better late than having not been able to participate at all. |

Waves team is building first production system on top of Scorex framework where Waves token will be the fuel of whole platform and all transactions happening there, from issuing the assets, through transfer, depositing and withdrawing other supported currencies on the platform. Focus is on custom asset creation, lite client, end-user, no blockchain download, decentralized exchange, asset-asset trading, fiat assets, working with payment providers from the start and being decentralized kickstarter at the same time. Other features and apps/plugins center will be appearing in meantime. Waves will have its own implementation of POS, its own transaction types, its own unique reputation system on the blockchain and many more things. Rewards will be distributed between all network users who have a balance, above full nodes, all lite client end-users will be able to lease their balance to full nodes and receive rewards also. There'll be competition between the nodes. It is huge project. So above Waves token being the fuel of whole platform, there will be also incentives from the network itself. |
