A brand new digital cryptocurrency is about to launch and will have a fair distribution. Credits can be earned three different ways! Proof of Work (PoW), Proof of Stake (PoS), and Proof of Burn (PoB). Below is more information on how these three methods will work:
Proof of Burn (PoB) : 100 million credits will be premined for this purpose. There are many Altcoins out there right now and many of them have failed. The developer disappeared, trading has ground to a halt, and everyone has stopped mining it. You end up sitting on a large supply of these worthless coins with nobody willing to buy them. Each month we will find new dead coins and attempt to buy up the entire supply of said coins. You will be paid in credits the fair value of the burn coin. And yes, you can mine the coin during the burn cycle as long as you trade them in before the deadline. You will have 30 days to do this. All the coins we buy up will then be burned, never to be spent again. Transaction records will be available to the public to insure we are not scamming anyone. We will continue this process until we run out of funds.
Coin Selection : Each month one or more dead Altcoins will be selected. The coins will have to meet all of the following specifications in order to be eligible:
1. Missing Developer/No Development/Abandoned
2. Little to no trade volume (under 0.2 BTC weekly Average)
3. Little to no Hashrate (PoW)/Little to no staking (PoS)

I knew a hairdresser in Austin that quit her salon to move to Hawaii and start a restaurant. She asked me over for dinner the week she left. Before dinner, she asked "how long does it take to cook rice?" On first reading this, its seems to me she was a successful hairdresser, but I bet she wasn't and once she leaned to cook rice, things went much better for her (and her customers). Yes, I guess no one really get these things I do, so they end up having no value. or in your words, just rest in peace. But it might just get a second life and will be celebrated one day. You know. I actualy truly forgot about making this coin and that thread. It was made as a reaction to that BOA move to patent blockchain tech. I mostly concentrate my effort on the Coca- Cola coin and the Disney Coin but they too are failing in term of value. Its due to high number of coins launched in the past, Even on the last two month almost 2 coins for day were launched, Considering 2014 and 2015 were a bad stage, A reduction process is now in process, Trend was that a same developer launched many coins moved for the fever, I remember a guy that launched like to 20 coins on another forum basically using the same parameters only changing the name and obviously his coins failed quickly . So how to a dev sometimes is better think left some projects to avoid lost time and money , The same must apply to miners, Pools and some exchanges, Etc that could to participate on that reduction process. |

We found almost 200 coins at CoinMarketCap that don't have explorers. These are supposed to be the coins that AREN'T dead.
I think if people realized how many coins have been abandoned, they might wake up. If a coin doesn't have 1 person who will run an explorer or pay a small amount for explorer hosting, then there's not 1 person in the world who cares if that coin dies.
Exactly, That is, Many peoples are wake up already, But unfortunately is not so on new players, However this bring the opportunity of a game more fair for theirs, For now BCT could be a example of that cleaning process to peoples can see that on crypto not all is scam. As I say previously, If coinmarketcap want keep as another icon they will need decrease drastically its listed coins, But that is another history for now. Edit: I will sort your list with 200 coins of coinmarketcap and I will add this on the less time possible on here to define status of them. |

Not precisely, As I have mentioned on post #554 this part: So long as there isn´t some kind of authority on Crypto to decide whether a project is good or bad and should be avoided The trigger dead coins will be activated as in this case.Obviously The trigger only will be activated with like to scam coins or certain facts that show that something is not legitim. Edit: +1 on this particular case only was to indicate that DC2 was increased on 1 due a new dead coin and has been marked as dead (red color) on secondary thread. New dead coins are added to list launched before Sept 01 2015 could increase Indicator DC1 New new dead coins are added to list launched after this date could increase Indicator DC2 Total Dead Coins = DC1+DC2 ok i see, anyway is good to see that now there aren't breaks but it surprise me that now we even found a chain of coins that were doomed and reborned when needed no one can prevent someone try to revive them to get profit mainly, But more and more people will understand the importance to dont support those. Really Nobody knows how many will survive to this process at least on this forum. But our indicators would to help to show it on a way quick to everyone. |
