If you want to speculate and hodl, you might better simply buy at exchanges, not mine.

Cant you imagine what happenes if all ETH Miners switch to Zcash or something else thats GPU Mineable? The difficulty will boom and the profit descend there too.
Well, I agree there is still time left for ETH Mining. But I would not buy new GPUMiner now...

Do you know what arbitrage trading means in reality?

I did arbitrage trading for some time and gave it up, well manually, but anyway, its always the same problems you face.

1. The higher your investing amount is, the less your profit in percentage.You kill your profits through highvolume orders. The orders themselfes manipulate the prices not in your favour.

2. The txfees and withdraw/deposit fees are high. Btc-transfers last at least 1h. Prices at arrival at another exchange are speculative.
You can keep funds at the other exchange for avoiding waiting time and exchange rate risk. But then you even need more fiat in your system.
More fiat at exchanges means a very real higher risk and less percentage of return for the invested fiat!

3. Turnaround of cash is at least 3 working days. The money you need has to circulate. That means if there is an arbitrage of 2%. Minus the fees you have ~1.5%.
Withdraw of Btc( lets guess its for free-which it is not). Then your coins arrive at the other exchange. there you sell them hopefully not with loss. But you pay again exchangefees. Now you withdraw fiat, because at that exchange prices tend to be ALWAYS higher than at the first exchange.
This costs also fees and lasts maybe 2 or three days.
Then you deposit Fiat at the first exchange.

If we guess they use 40000BTC, that means a value of 240Mio USD.
So you have to withdraw every day ~80Mio from exchanges.
Commercial Fiat transfers are not for free.
At any exchange you would have problems with AML-Policy if you operate anonymous from CostaRica or Austria or anywhere.

Just for to give you an idea: Bitstamp has a total daily volume of 80Mio Euro.
And Bitstamp is one of the very biggest exchanges in the world.

THE IS NO ARBITRAGE CRYPTO TRADING BY A SINGLE COMPANY ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD WITH THIS VOLUME!


I believe Optioment made already tons of coins. But not by arbitrage trading and trading robots.
Simply by collecting and keeping the coins.

4. Theres a risk that exchanges are hacked or closed.

5. Administration costs something.

So to summarize it: you need 4times the amount of fiat to gain once a day 2%.So in fact you earned only 0.5% a day.
Still there is high risk.

In Reality you wont earn reguarly 2% a week. It is less.

With speculative Trading you can earn much more but the risks are also higher.

THERE IS NO FOOLPROOF HIGH RETURN WITHOUT HIGH RISK

Again, the higher the volume the less you can trade against the trend.
In the end it is similar than playing roulette.
Yes you can earn something. But you dont earn huge percentage on a regular basis. That is simply a myth!!!

Die werden sehr bald sehr aktuell werden. Denn Beträge von weniger als 1000 euro mit btc zu zahlen ist jetzt schon ziemlich sinnlos geworden.
Habe gestern mal eben 12euro transaktionsgebühr bezahlt.
 Und ganz egal ob sich s2x oder btc durchsetzt-nächstes Jahr werden 20-40 Euro gebühr bei btc ganz normal sein.
Da kann man zwar noch auf exchanges damit traden aber deposit/withdraw und direktes senden wird uninteressant.
Da nimmt man dann lieber altcoins.
Das bestimmt sehr bald der Markt. Ob wirs wollen oder nicht.

Die optimale Währung ist längst auf dem Markt...also eigentlich gibt es viele zum online zahlen bessere Währungen als BTC.
Beispiel: Dash.

Dafür gibts Spezialfirmen zB Bitpay.
Die garantieren den Fiatbetrageingang in fixer Höhe.
Ja die Differenzen werden dabei einfach geschluckt-auf Dauer sollte es sich ausgleichen.
Schwierger ist eher die Frage wie geht man mit Bezahlen ohne Bestätigung um?
Allerdings bei Lieferdienst gibts ja wenigstens eine Adresse...

Man kann nicht nur den Privaten Schlüssel einer Adresse ex und importieren sondern auch die komplette Seed-also das komplette wallet.
Ein Online-wallet zu verwenden bei der man nicht wenigstens die seed oder priv keys exportieren kann ist weniger wert als ein Bankkonto.
Man hat ja dann absolut nichts in der Hand und muss dem Anbieter vertrauen dass er einen auch wieder auszahlt-ganz abgesehen davon auch das er einem die schlüssel gut verwahrt....
Deshalb NIEMALS Localbitcoins oder Coinbase oder irgendeine Exchange als Wallet verwenden.
