Luis Enrique is really close to make the deal official with PSG now. Everyone has been saying that Zidane would be the best coach for PSG and I also agree. However it doesn't look like Zidane want that in the first place. Of course PSG still could have tried their chance by making an official offer to him but they haven't either.
In this situation there is no other thing to do than hoping Luis Enrique to be successful here. He is a decent career as he has managed Barcelona and Roma as big teams. He even managed Spain national team also. His most successful years were with Barcelona indeed. He won 10 titles in total with Barcelona and one of them was even a Champions League title.
At least it must be exciting to have a Champions League winner coach around here.
It could be difficult because Luis Enrique, like Guardiola, favors ball possession, whereas PSG focuses more on transition and quick counterattacks. This is why I'm not very excited about it. Nagelsmann or Mourinho are my top choices. Mbappé must leave for Luis Enrique to achieve anything significant because if he stays, he won't ever have full control or won't be spared from making tough choices like Erik ten Hag had to with Ronaldo at Manchester United. If we don't give him control of the locker room, it will be another failure, and no respectable coach will be interested in coaching PSG again. It is also a good aspect to think about. Luis Enrique must be very used to using such game plan thanks to his years in Barcelona. Mostly we don't see managers changing their way of planning strategies during their whole careers. Luis Enrique would do the same I guess. However I don't also think that a ball possession focused game plan would be the best for PSG. Because while you have players like Mbappe in your squad it isn't very sensible to play slow. Mbappe likes to penetrate the box from wings to create big goal opportunities. Now I wonder what kind of a plan Luis Enrique would have in his mind about that. Because if he can't make use of Mbappe's skills at the highest level then there is no meaning in this. |

 This is currently the transfer list of Chelsea according to news. They are sending away so many players from the team and there are really nice players among them also. It looks like we are going to see a complete rebuild by Chelsea side this summer. Pochettino is about to join the team by the end of the month. So I guess he would start the transfer attempts according to the targets quickly. There are already players started to come to Chelsea as of Nkunku's joining them. But there is going to be a really busy transfer window for Chelsea. They will need to fill the places of the players to leave above all else. They should focus on bringing really good talents here from now on to be more competitive next season. The management style is going to be the biggest factor to determine that of course. I hope Pochettino signing becomes beneficial for Chelsea. |

Can Perez really be the kind of driver Red Bull wants now? l think he isn't as good as he needs to be just like most people share the same idea. The team must be also waiting for him to make a bigger contribution to constructors' championship to secure their title easier. But I don't feel like they want a competitive driver to Verstappen now. Because Verstappen wants to be the number one and he wouldn't like a driver who is as competitive as himself right beside him in the team. Red Bull also wouldn't like to risk Verstappen's presence in the team by doing such thing I guess. Otherwise I would really love to see a competitive rival to Verstappen to make it more fun to watch.  Alonso comes to my mind directly about that but I'm just daydreaming. I've never read the history of them buying big players. Dortmund has always been a maker of new great players. So Dortmund are not likely to buy great players, they always buy big potential players. So it seems that changing the traditions that are already running makes them uncomfortable. Dortmund's orientation is business, I think the failure this season didn't make them too disappointed. The management has run the football business well. Yes and for example it is the same for Leipzig also. They are also not a financially broke team but they don't still go for top players. Normally they can convince many solid big players into joining themselves as they are in the Champions League like every season these days. Strengthening the squad like that would help them fight for bigger achievements. But they are no different than Dortmund. They just want to put simpler targets in front of themselves and work for making them happen. As long as they can keep their financial condition stable there shouldn't be any problem for these teams. Dortmund are a very young team now. There are only 6 players whose ages are 30 or over that level. As the vision of the team is to focus on filling the team with talented youngsters to grow their skills and sell them after, this is totally normal. Even in this situation they were nearly winning a Bundesliga title in Terzic's management. Maybe it was a bad ending but a nice challenge for the most of the season. I know many people are frustrated with Dortmund or any other teams' not being able create a big competition to Bayern Munich regularly. This must be the only season this happened after so many years. Moreover it is thanks to Bayern Munich's having a bad season otherwise nothing was going to change. I love to watch der Klassiker or matches with many goals in this league. I would like to watch Icardi and Mustafa Muhammed under the Galatasaray jersey at the same time. I think Icardi could have created spaces for him while pushing the opposing defense. Icardi and Zaniola didn't make as good a striker duo as I expected, but Icardi and Mustafa Muhammed could have been a better match. I agree that Milan's main target should be to buy a much more reliable striker from now on. Giroud and Origi can't show the expected the level of performance. Giroud makes some contribution with goals but the number of them isn't so many. Origi was transferred with nice hopes but he was much worse than Giroud. I don't remember Origi scoring more than a couple of goals. If Milan increase the productivity of their attacking line then they can be much more competitive for the Serie A title again. I know Leao is doing great also by scoring so many goals despite not being a striker. But this isn't enough. Milan would make use of a striker who can be even in top scorer rivalry. |

Croatia have zero titles achieved in team history. This must be really sad for such a capable team. I know that they haven't been impressive in Euro tournaments for years. But they got very close to winning another solid title in the 2018 World Cup and this year's Nations League. Back on the day of the World Cup finale France upset them.
And now Spain have caused an upset to them after a really tight competition during the final match. Croatia have been really trying but they just don't have the skill to finish the job after getting too close to success. Of course playing finales is a really good job. But this shows at the same time that they can do better with a special move. It would have been lovely to see Modric happy with a title won before his retirement from national football.

Especially if you watched their match versus Armenia recently you must have realized how much weaker they are now. They were the absolute favourite side of that match to win but they lost by 4-2 home. The same team got a draw with Croatia away in the first group matches also.
While they don't look consistent at all this is a serious opportunity for Turkey to make use of. I remember their latest head-to-head which was two years ago. It was again a Euro tournament and Wales won by 2-0 away. But both teams aren't the same now.

Juventus have completed the season with a big disappointment. They only managed to make it to the Europa Conference League and that's all. No titles no noteworthy achievements. I know that their points were dropped and they were technically demoted from their Champions League groups chance. But this is still not an excuse for Allegri undoubtedly.
If they finished at the fourth position then they could have at least kept their consistency. But it is ruined also. I don't know what the new board are thinking about Allegri now. I would have already sacked him because of the poor look in most part of the season. Allegri's system isn't good anymore. Juventus should be able to create more goal chances than this. Even Vlahovic couldn't become very effective like in the last season due to this.

I have no big expectation for brighton and liverpool. It's better for us to keep calm and see the result. The result from last season by arsenal and manchester united were more than enough to give us a lot of lessons.
The big club in EPL will not guarantee if europa league can be won easily. So many people were feeling optimistic with arsenal and man u last season but sevilla was winning it.
That being said even though another league was sending weak candidate to the europa league and the chance to win the trophy is always there. That's very EPL club never try to underestimate another club.
For Brighton I think the same. Because they don't even have a proper history in any European competition. The Europa League experience might not end very well for them in this situation. But if I were in their place I would still do my best in the tournament. At least they can see it a place to make extra money even if they can't become much successful. But for Liverpool I don't think the same. They must be able to become more successful than Brighton above all else. They are strong and haven't anything more than experience in such competitions. Yes, Arsenal and Manchester United couldn't make it to even the finale but this still doesn't close the door for Liverpool also. It is all about how much Liverpool would care about the tournament. But even if they qualify for the Champions League by finishing in top 4 they can still go for the Europa League title on one hand. Because this season was really unsuccessful for them. |

The new season in TCL has finally started. I was quite excited about the changes in SuperMassive roster. Because only Serin has remained from the old roster and the rest of the players have been replaced. I know especially Armut and Zeitnot very well as Armut is a really decent top laner while Zeitnot is a dominating bottom laner. Chieftain (jungler) and Reble (support) are other new transfers also. I started to get quite expectant from this team in TCL of course. But the most important question was whether they would get used to play in coherence as a team quickly. But I'm afraid they have made a terrible start. First the destruction by NASR Esports and today the loss against the last champion Istanbul Wildcats. They need to work harder to have a stronger team composition or this change won't mean anything for this season at least. The current standings:  |
