1141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO] XPLAY - A global extreme entertainment technology and tokenized ecosystem on: August 26, 2017, 04:23:17 PM
Hi guys, i just have a small question, umm.. by porn or adult content you mean sex right? Or anything related to it? If yes, then my question is; how far does your adult content reach? I mean to what extent?? Im referring to fetishes. What fetishes can you really provide?? Do you have limitations? Because there are really a lot of fetishes out there. And sooner or later people using your services will be looking for different videos on specific fetishes that they are fond of. So it would be nice if people will know what they can expect and what not from your services.

1143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SC coin keep dumping - :( on: August 26, 2017, 05:39:52 AM
Do you know any reasons why SC price keep going down? Is it good for long-term investment? I like this project but about SC coin, I feel doubting about its future

There is really nothing to be worried about pal, this is normal and has happened a lot of times also to other crypto currencies out there, the price is just correcting itself because of the recent price rise. People who decided to buy SC may have seen enough profit so they sold, and other panicking people followed. So if you are looking into the long term investment, then be calm. The price should probably rise again sooner or later.
1144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Slow BTC Network on: August 26, 2017, 05:32:26 AM
Well fellas, it took two different transaction about an hour each to get just three confirmations. Does this have to do with the fork? Or is it because a lot more people are using bitcoin?

I actually have been having the same problems as you man, and it really is irritating and testing my patience. Specially now that i need it as soon as possible. I really don't know the reason why this is happening. But a friend of mine told me that the reasons maybe the slow internet connection(which is pretty common here in my olace), spams in the network that people who are trying to take advantage of the current split are doing or choosing low fee transactions. So maby one of those is really the reason for this problem. I just hope this gets fixed soon.
1145  Local / Pamilihan / Re: BSP Approves Exchanges 2 Operators on: August 26, 2017, 05:22:15 AM
http://www.philstar.com/business/2017/08/19/1730418/bsp-approves-registration-2-bitcoin-exchange-operators

The central bank of the Philippines has granted licenses to two local bitcoin exchanges, according to reports.

Daily newspaper The Philippine Star reported the developments on Sunday, citing statements from central bank chief Nestor Espenilla Jr.

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas first released its rules for domestic exchanges in February, seeking to lay down a foundation for the country's nascent cryptocurrency space. Yet the central bank has seen relatively little interest from prospective applicants, according to one official who commented to local media in late July.

That said, Espenilla, who spoke during a financial technology event over the weekend, indicated that the central bank is being proactive about bringing exchanges under its regulatory auspices.

"We see a rapid increase in the trajectory. It is coming from a small base but increasing – that is why we decided to require them to register," he told attendees.

Espenilla also offered some figures on the local bitcoin trade, according to the news source, saying that exchanges are seeing as much as $6 million in volume a month – a figure that represents three times the $2 million per month seen last year.

"We are moving to regulate them," Espenilla emphasized.

--------------

Anyone interested in starting an exchange?   Pm me please.

If this is actually true and not just another made up news, then i say this would be a great thing for filipinos specially now that a lot of people in the philippines are really into crypto currencies and wants to be part of the new trend. This will be a good thing for the both the filipinos and other people around the world for it will add up huge amounts in terms of market prices for bitcoins which we all can agree that we do want.
1146  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Things All traders should Do on: August 26, 2017, 05:01:52 AM
Priceslide Strategy
1. Never be emotional – especially afraid

It’s easy to come in with mentality that it’s exciting to make money, because it is. However, trading has to be looked at with a cold and calculating eye. Don’t let the ups get you excited, or the downs get you depressed. People with a loser’s mentality trade with emotion. When the coin is down, just start slowly buying. When it’s up just start slowly selling (more on this later). If you allow fear to come into the trading process – fear of missing out, or fear of selling too soon / too late, you will never be an effective trader.

2. Always be prepared

Know your market, read the ANN thread of the coin you’re buying. Know the development team, their past, their scam accusations. Know the total amount of the coin in circulation and the inflation rate. Know how many coins the top holders have. Plan on coin accumulation over time – even when a coin can seem at its bottom, there’s always a chance scared people will push it 20% lower before there’s someone to pick up the pieces

3. Never put all your eggs in one basket

This should be obvious to everyone, but never champion a specific coin. “believing in a community” is the single most ridiculous thing that the altcoin traders have come up with. The dogecoin community was massive and actually got a nascar sponsorship through, but the excitement of the past doge days is long gone. My point here is that no community sticks around for too long, because there’s nothing to actually lock anyone in after big traders have abandoned the coin.

4. Always be logical

The same as never be emotional, stated in the positive. It is important enough to restate, because it is the single most critical, and common, mistake that traders make. The herd moves with what “seems” correct. Buy when a coin is going up. However, you should be selling when the coin is going up. That is the time to take profit – when everyone else is trading with emotional excitement, thinking only of their greed. It’s easy to take advantage of if you know what to look for

5.Never sell all your coins at once

Space your trades out – pumps can start and stop at any time, and any price level.

Even if you “know” it’s at the top, it can always go higher. Don’t live with that regret.

This is from my blog !

https://priceslide.wordpress.com/2016/09/20/5-things-all-traders-should-do/

Wow, thanks op! These are pretty good advices from 1 to 5! Specially for newbies like me who are looking for other ways to earn and increase our profit. Because begginers like me tend to go and spend all we have because we want fast income and always want shorcuts if we see an opportunity, not thinking what the consequences may be in the aftermath. I actually thought of this when i first heard of trading. Good thing I haven't done anthing yet.

I think this should be moved in the begginers help section so people like me who are looking for various ways to get income can see this and prevent any stupid decisions.
1147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for Taxi on: August 26, 2017, 04:53:25 AM
I think it would be great if you could pay your Taxi-drive with Bitcoin! U agree with me?

While i like the thought of being able to use bitcoins with ease in our daily lives in small or big payments to happen, I think that it is still impossible as for today or in the near future because of the confirmation processes that almost takes forever to finish and the current fees for every transaction. Plus the biggest problem which is the sufficient knowledge that everyone must have if they want to use bitcoins or accept bitcoins as payment methods. I don't mean all those technical stuff that some of us already know but just the basics; how to store bitcoin, how to get a wallet, how to protect what you have, and how to spend.

Those are the things that really need attention from the people and the devs so bitcoin can be used by everyone in the future on their daily lives.
1148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 60k Moneroj. Will i be a millionaire by 2017? on: August 26, 2017, 04:42:17 AM
Thinking about to buy 60k xmr. What so you guys think, is it possible to become a millionaire in 2 years?

It depends on the developers really. In how they can improve their coins interms of transactions etc. which can be a vital thing in attracting a huge number of consumers. I can say it can be a good investment and a good storage. But the thing is, other coins are also good and can do this too. While others have the same pros, others are more known to people and have better experiences in terms of solving issues. And i think that is something needed to be considered when you really need to invest.
1149  Economy / Economics / Re: Pump and dump is the name of the game. on: August 26, 2017, 04:24:58 AM
Did you guys noticed what was happening recently in the crytocurrency world?
People pump certain coin and then dump it later when the price hit the highest level.
And then buy later when the price dip to the lowest level.

What do you think of this? Share your thoughts Grin

Dude, first of all, this is not new in the crypto world. People have been doing for as long as i can remember. I even think that this had been happening since the dawn of crypto currencies(but im not sure with this one though). This is human nature we are witnessing.  Because humans will always take advantage of anything as long as they can. And unless there will be a rule for this to be prohibited, then i dont think people will stop doing this. Plus every coin needs this. So its just a win win for both sides.
1150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can you see bitcoin in the future? on: August 25, 2017, 06:35:46 PM
Hi guys, I want your opinion if how can you see Bitcoin in the near future.

I can see bitcoin in the near future if ever i get superpowers or get the ability to travel in time and tell you today what i saw when i went to the future yesterday. Hahaha

But really, with the current ups and downs of prices in the market relating to bitcoin, i can guess a number about $5000 plus, and maybe $10.000-$15k+ in the next few years. Although nothing is really for sure when it comes to bitcoins, we can't deny the possibilities. And when this happens, I'll be on my favorite seat drinking brandy while smoking with a smile on my face. Thinking im glad i stuck with bitcoin.
1151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: One week, zero confirmations. Hurts Bitcoin adaption on: August 25, 2017, 06:06:21 PM
Seems like the transaction fee has skyrocketed or something else is at fault. A week ago I transfered 0.1 mBTC with a 0.0023 mBTC transaction fee. It has zero confirmations for a week now. Another transaction with 0.07 mBTC transaction fee also hangs for days.

I know how to unstuck the transaction and resend but I think this will hurt Bitcoin adaption.

Will segwit help in the future or do we need other options to deal with transactions?

I also think that there really is something fishy going on with bitcoins right now because i tried to transfer yesterday from one wallet to another but until now there are still no confirmations(0 confirmation). And i have been hearing a lot of people complaining about this problem too.

I think that the segwit may really help with both the speed and price of every transaction being made, but as we know, we can only guess and hope when it comes to bitcoins and other crypto currencies, so still, nothing is certain.
1152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you moving from BTC to Bitcoin Cash? on: August 25, 2017, 05:55:20 PM
Just curious, BTC falls and Bitcoin Cash raises, are you one of the guys selling BTC for Bitcoin Cash and why?

Nope, i wont be selling my bitcoins just to get a hold of that new born bitcoin cash. Because i see bitcoin cash as just an ordinary alternative coin just like others that can only dream of being on the level of bitcoin. Although i see a lot of potential on bitcoin cash, I still am in favor of bitcoin, because i just love the way it is and the way it overcame all the challenges it went through. It has so much experience and can really be better and be morethan what it is today. I clearly can see that bitcoin can  surpass all pf its highest peak prices by a whole bunch. So i ak sticking with bitcoin no matter what.
1153  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dark cloud above the bulls. on: August 25, 2017, 05:41:00 PM
There seems to be a careful up-trend again and the bulls are starting to get vocal again with SW activation.

Let's just forget that SW is not a feature for the users, it's a security weakness introduced by the bankster controlled blockstream team.

When the SW2x and Bitcoin cash team decide to reorganise the SW chain there will be blood in the streets and Core coin could very possibly never rise to these heights again.

Remember it's just a matter of time before the news of the November hard fork hits mainstream media and people will start panic selling.
Miners have alread, and are still migrating to Bitcoin cash and 92% of the remaining miners will move to the November SW2x fork.
There won't be much left of Core coin by then.

Let's just ignore this reality and get burned... again... Don't be dumb this time...

What the hell are you blabbering about again?? Don't you ever get tired of spreading your delusional dumbfck guesses?! Bloody hell! You dont even make fckng sense anymore! Damn! Don't you have anything better to do in your life?? At least do something that is more productive than spreading nonsense here on this forum! It is true that the planned hard fork this coming november might make the market really do take a little of few steps back, but this thing you're yappin all about? It's total bullcrap. Anyone that would believe you should also believe that spiderman is real. You're clearly a kind of person that has been given a chance to go to school and learn. But still you choose to act dimb asfck. Wasting time.
1154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cloud Mining Thoughts on: August 25, 2017, 05:05:49 PM
Guys,

Would be good to get your opinion on cloud mining contracts from Genesis or Hashflare. Has anyone got any good/bad experiences with them? Are they profitable?

You can get  10,000.0 GH/s Hash Rate for $1200, apparently gives you a return of $60 a week.... Seems like a good investment no? (Worth noting you can invest just 12$ if you wanted a lower hash rate)

~Lucas

I can't say that it's a good idea, but I also can't say it is bad. But even so, i think it is legit. I have seen it a long time ago and still is running to this day. It has risks, but any profit driven man will alaways say that nonrisks no glory. So i say if you have the extra bucks for the investment and all the other needed things for mining, go and do it. Better to try and fail if ever than to go and think about what ifs at night just because you never tried. Hope this helps, cheers.
1155  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: MAYWEATHER VS. MCGREGOR PAY-PER-VIEW FIGHT - on: August 25, 2017, 04:38:37 PM
Is it a legal pay per view stream? I know you charge a fee, but that doesn't answer the question Smiley

I also wanna know because even when you say you charge a fee, we don't know what ways you did use to he able to provide such of a service like showing a pay per view live footage that are supposed to be watched only on frequently advertised sites or tv channels. Do you have a company for this? Because you say it's your own. Please don't take this as a bad thing, i am just curious because i am not an expert when it comes to this things.
1156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO] XPLAY - A global extreme entertainment technology and tokenized ecosystem on: August 25, 2017, 04:28:15 PM
The porn thing is just pretty damn amazing! We all know how hot the demand of the  porn industry nowadays specially in most muslim and conservative counties out there. They will probably like this idea, plus they will only pay for the parts of the clip they want to watch! That's a pretty damn good idea for there are people who want to immediately jump into the action scenes(if you know what i mean haha)!! While some want the foreplay and the conversations etc. now that is what you call real love for costumers! Too bad that I couldn't get my hands on some coins(nope, not in for the porn. Im in for the clear profit i would've obviously gained).
1157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO] XPLAY - A global extreme entertainment technology and tokenized ecosystem on: August 25, 2017, 10:03:05 AM
ICO has just started on https://xplay.fund from 7 August 12pm UTC

ICO Target is 15500 ETH

Official telegram link:

https://t.me/joinchat/CvaXNg4T_y13oqxdix9y9w

[all official news will be announced there very promptly]

Pre-ICO closed on 7 August and raised US$6.5 million

Xplay: A global extreme entertainment technology and tokenized ecosystem

The global entertainment industry comprises games, cinema, TV and video, publishing, music and broadcast. Rising purchasing power, technological innovation and increasing adoption of digital content have contributed to the overall growth of the global entertainment industry. Total revenue for the global entertainment industry has increased from US$801.0 billion in 2012 to US$869.8 billion in 2016. Total revenue of the global entertainment industry is expected to reach US$950.9 billion in 2021.

XPlay is a blockchain-led ecosystem that connects into the entertainment industry. We are building the tokenized entertainment economy in Greater China and APAC region in particular in the Adult content and gaming area.

XPlay will generate the world's digital content information for each original content. Digital content information contains metadata such as artist, release time and content subject matter. When we see a message, we can understand who created the information at what time, and who did what kind of changes at what time. Newly added metadata will make information itself more valuable, and will even affect our
judgments on the quality of information.

On the XPlay platform, users can choose what they are interested in, ensuring at the same time that they are not manipulated by any algorithm. All other algorithms related to content display are open source and transparent. Users can also participate in algorithm optimization. XPlay team believes that only in a completely user-based content platform, can we establish a content value ecosystem with sustainable development.

What is XPlay?

Unlike traditional video sites and different from the blockchain technology used in other simple UGC-content production platforms such as Yoyow and Steemit, XPlay is a blockchain-based, user-content oriented ecosystem for releasing, recommending and trading of global extreme adult entertainment. It provides a user-content C2C platform (such as interactive livestreaming) as well as a B2C entertainment platform with user participation in various segments and scenes. Such user participation will be encouraged by community interaction, a ranking system and monetary incentives. XPlay also offers artificial intelligence-based translation services while gradually expanding its various extreme entertainment projects, thus removing all troubles along the road on the pursuit of happiness.

The global entertainment market is booming and has great potential. From $801 billion in 2012 to $889.9 billion in 2016, the total revenue in the global entertainment industry is expected to reach $950.9 billion in 2021. XPlay utilizes blockchain technology coupled with advanced artificial intelligence technology to provide multi-featured services.

XPlay's application of the blockchain technology is multifaceted. It is a forerunner in the use of artificial intelligence recognition technology to let users know their own preferences. One feature of XPlay is for the individual user's feelings to be intelligently recognized and categorized regionally. With the use of matching search technology based on the user's preferences, it then conducts a search through the blockchain for each of the regionalized sexy files and allows the user to choose whether to add the file's blockchain to obtain usage rights.

A second features of XPlay is its revolutionary use of blockchain technology in selecting the video clips with the most traffic to remain in the blockchain, thus helping the adult video industry to generate greater profits. According to the plot or actions based on a certain standard, XPlay can split a complete adult film into multiple files before entering into the blockchain, thus enabling the sale and auction of files by users. Through the transparent record of the blockchain, XPlay will isolate the most attractive pieces of the single film into multiple short videos. In this way, the profit of each adult film will increase by at least three times.

Thirdly, using the blockchain "transparent book" technology XPlay will give each content a unique digital fingerprint to track the circulation of each content and its source, thereby eliminating piracy issue.

The fourth feature is that XPlay will ensure the user's privacy is not compromised. While the use of blockchain ensures all disclosures of information are open and transparent, private information and browsing history that users do not want to disclose will not be recorded in the blockchain.

Fifth, the display of content will not be interfered by a central platform. On the XPlay platform, users can choose their own content of interest according to the blockchain's public records to ensure that they are not controlled by the algorithms of other companies such as Google and Facebook. All of XPlay's content display-related algorithms are open source and transparent. Users can also participate in the optimization of these algorithms.

XPA Token's Three Characteristics

1. Versatility - XPA Tokens issued by XPlay are functionally similar to Bitcoin, which is the necessary medium for the extreme entertainment ecology. The use of XPA can improve transaction efficiency.

2. Wide Applications - On the XPlay streaming media platform, XPA can be used to obtain content copyright, and to reward content producers. In the future, XPA Tokens can be used in other extreme entertainment platforms. XPA Tokens can be used in trading activities on the XPlay ecological platform and cooperative platforms, and the market demand for XPA tokens will increase.

3. Sophisticated New Payment Method - Unlike traditional video charging methods, XPlay adapts to the audience's viewing habits. It is not like watching a movie from the beginning to the end. Instead, the viewer will be pulled into the best segments in a view-hopping mode. According to the blockchain's open and transparent records, XPA Tokens will only be charged for the scene watched and not for the cost of watching the whole film. The XPA Token is real-time, efficient, and it supports small payment technology to help achieve this innovative billing method for adult content.

I have just finished reading the post. And i really do think that this project will become really successful. I see a lot of potential and minimal flaws, but it doesn't outweigh the good petential xplay has. I can already imaging ya'll gamers and "adult content lovers" already smiling and celebrating . I suggest you advertise more in different ways to pull new customers into your project.
1158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin cannot replace currency in the world because price is not stable on: August 24, 2017, 01:43:09 AM
bitcoin cannot replace currency in the world because price is not stable.

currency should be more stable.

you may reply me. currency is not stable also but you should think

USD currency price is up and down 1-2% in 1 month.

bitcoin price is up and down 20% in 1 month.

what will people think if they just change USD to bitcoin then their money down 10% in 10 minutes?

bitcoin can become stock but cannot become currency

While i agree on you to some point, I still think that it is way too early to predict one thing or the other when it comes to bitcoins, Let alone comparing it to fiat. And also, i just can't freaking understand why people are so obsessed in making butcoin replace fiat. I mean, it would be nice if bitcoins would be accepted by the majority but damn! Why turn it into fiat and destroy all the benefits we are having today having bitcoin as it is?! i still want btc to stay as it is. Not portraying the cons of bitcoins but the way it is built and its pros. Why think of using one and throwing one away when we can use both?? Just doesn't make sense.
1159  Economy / Economics / Re: So, you want to be rich? All of you ? on: August 23, 2017, 08:31:51 AM
Just imagine. If ALL OF US would be rich, that means we would live our lives out from dividends, or any passive income of at least $1k a month. Then it would be jawesome, right ? Well, but then I do have a question.
WHO on this Earth would bake the bread for ALL OF US ?
Robots, you might say?
OK, nice idea.
But then, WHO on Earth would maintenance these robots ?
Another robots ?
I don't think so.
Even if so, even if there would be a Skynet of robots, who would not just bake the bread, but also harvest the grains, transport it, deliver to our doors. What then ?
We could eat for free, as much as you want?
Cool, but what about overweight then.
Doctor? But hey wait, NO ONE on this Earth work, so we have no doctors.
OK, we have Doctor Robots.
Who would teach our kids? Robots! Who would change the diapres? Robot!
Even if humans would master all this, we would need to have all the knowledge to teach our robots to work for us. To be slaves for us. (no minds, just pure robotic hands/arms and so on, Tesla's and autopilots)
But even then, there is one huge problem.
I do not want to touch any country, or race, or group of people, but imagine, if you put infinite amount of resources to any kind of animal (including humans), they would reproduce themselves to infinite. Because they simply can. Because parents do not need to parent their kids anymore, because we have robots! So we would need a limit of reproducing, no right to reproduce as much as you can handle (infinite resources), because we would simple have like 50-100billion people on this planet, and there would be no robots who could grow so much grains to bake bread. (perhaps hyper dense pills could be the away).
So, back to the original question, why do people believe, they all can be rich ?
It was, is, and will be, ALWAYS about that who is going to earn more, not enough, but more than the others.
Why?
If there is only one mansion on the Bahamas, which is large enough, sunny enough, sexy enough, there is no freaking way, ALL OF US could buy it. Just one. 1. One. And if only 10 buyers come with their million, to who would seller sell this mansion to? First ? But second also have million and ALL OF US want to be rich (own that one mansion). So second would have to offer 2 million, right?
Wrong.
No one would want to sell such mansion in the first place, as he is already rich. We all are.

We all know that everyone becoming rich is impossible. Because by then, being rich would have gone to a different level. What we think rich today would be the definition of poor when what time comes. You absolutely look like someone who hates the thought of being rich or might have given up on it. If you think like that, then you won't really get what you want. There are lots of ways to strive hard to get to your dreams if you want. And none if you don't.
Think about it.

Minereum now is also getting the attention of the cryto world. Do you think it will go as high as Ethereum. Well, I hope so.

What do you think? Do Minereum has the great potential?

I really don't think so. Because i just don't see that much potential in minereum that is better than etherium. You should be looking at long term potentials and also take into account the experiences that an altcoin has and has been through. Like if it can survive and recover from all the pumps and dumps it has been through and will it overcome other pumps and dumps that might come into its way again someday. Plus other technical potential and other mishaps that May or may not be improved/improvable. Then compare it to others.
