961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Kucoin & Binance are the new Bittrex & Polo ? seems so. on: October 31, 2017, 11:40:51 PM
Lately a new "Exchange 2.0" taking over. Bittrex & Polo suffer from many complains, locking accounts and many other issues.

Kucoin & Binance are quite different. they have their own token which give benefits.

Both are going very big in Asia and International.

Check out how Kucoin perform vs other exchanges:

https://www.kucoin.network/

Your opinion?

Kucoin, i haven't heard of it before till now. Gonna have to check that out.
Binance on the other hand really has great potential to grow bigger than it is today and really rewch the level of bittrex and polo. (Dont like polo that much to be honest)
962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to store small, unknown alt coins? on: October 31, 2017, 11:37:15 PM
If it is an erc20 coin, then the best choice for me is myetherwallet. But if not, exhanges are nice. Because you can just wait for the price of that coun to rise and then sell or trade it when you have reached desired profit.
963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy altcoins or not? on: October 31, 2017, 11:29:23 PM
Should we invest in altcoins?and why?which is better altcoins or equity shares?

Both are great if you wanna earn profit. But i am siding with altcoins this time. Because i am more comfortable with them at the moment. They have gven me a pretty nice profit already. So i do not want to leave them.
964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nova Exchange is Closing on: October 31, 2017, 01:11:25 AM
Damn. This is such a bad news Sad
I have been using nova exchange for quite some time now. This exchange closing is such a waste. This really saddens me as a regular user. They have been offering good service to their customers including me. I just hope that they will get back into business again.
965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🔵 UTRUST 🔵 The future of online payments is here. on: October 30, 2017, 09:12:09 AM
We are looking forward to a great breakthrough from the project. I think that they will collect a hard cap during the first days after the start of IСO! We are waiting for November 2.

You got that right. No doubt this project is gonna be one of this year's best projects with a great number of investors and huge funds collected. This surely is something worth subscribing at. I too am looking forward into this great project's ICO.
966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO's tech is better than that of ETH? on: October 30, 2017, 08:54:12 AM
The transaction throughput of NEO is measured up to about 10,000 tx per second. Right now the transaction throughput of NEO is said to be 1,000 per second. We all know that the transaction throughput of ETH is only 15 tx per second. Does it mean that NEO's tech is better than that of ETH?

well NEO's tech surely is amazing and very useful for the crypto world. But the thing is, etherium is not at its place only because of speedy transactions. That is why i don't think that NEO will be replacing etherium that easy. At least not in anywhere near the next 5 years or so. NEO has great potential, but not isn't that great yet to be compared to erherium itlself. So...
967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Putin approves cryptocurrency and ICO(Officially) on: October 26, 2017, 06:57:11 PM
Damn all these news abkut russia is confusing! While i am gkad that they finally agree with cryoto currencies, i just cannot help but worry what other decisions they may come up with. Because clearly, they are not so good with sticking to their words. They said they'd ban all crypto currencies, then few days later, another news saying they are approving crypto currencies. Like, wtf man? If they can easily change their decisions like that, then there's no telling what their move will be weeks, months, or years later. This is becoming rollercoaster. I just don't buy this sht.
968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🔵 UTRUST 🔵 The future of online payments is here. on: October 26, 2017, 10:20:55 AM
I am considering a large investment in this project as it is very similar to Monetha and is a good investment in the future. I hope to be able to participate in the group telegram because I have a lot of questions about the project

Utrust project surely is gonna be big! Probably even bigger than monetha! Although this is just a speculation, i really am confident about thus project. Of course this will not come as fast as lighning, but i can really see that this is something that isn't impossible. Considering the number of people getting more and more into this project.

I suggest you join so that they can abswer all your questions if you feel lazy in asking or reading through the pages of this ann thread. The developing team are prety serious and hands on in this project so i think you will get your answers fast there.
969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What annoys or worries you most in crypto? on: October 26, 2017, 09:31:20 AM
What annoys or worries you most in crypto?
How do you think it could be eliminated and dealt away with?

Like others, my main concern is the security flaws of crypto currencies. The way you can lose such a big amount of investment in just a blink of an eye because of these hackers taking advantage of the weaknesses of people and the system as it is.

But what really annoys me are the people that make worthless coins out of nowhere because of greed., Not saying that all of these new coins are wothless bullshit. But let's be honest here, most of them really are. But the worse part? It becomes easier for these people to make thses scam coins! They don't even have to put much effort into it because almost everything needed are already present.

But all in all, this is what makes crypto currencies more exciting and appealing to me. This thrill drives me to continue being in the crypto world.
970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you research the company before participating in a bounty? on: October 25, 2017, 12:04:17 AM
Just wondering if this is something everyone does, and what questions you need answered before you are comfortable participating (and actively promoting) an ICO?

Of course i do. That is and ahould be the natural action of a person whenever he is looking to invest in projects because you cannot go blindly in a jungle. You will die. And in this case, you will lose capital. So you have to make sure that your choice is really worthy of what you are investing.
971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is buying WAVES? on: October 24, 2017, 06:38:55 PM
Hi All,

Now that BTG has completed, anyone buying waves? It's slightly higher today than it was yesterday but still worth buying.

How much will you be investing?

Smiley

Well, i currently have my eyes on this coin. To be honest, i have already invested a littke amount. Just so i don't regret not buying now. And if i see more improvement in this coin or if the price get higher, i think i will be investing a whole lot more. Because i want an all or nothing gamble with this coin.
Im just currently waiting for a sign before i go all in.
972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to create a ICO on: October 24, 2017, 05:56:16 PM
ICO's are in abundance in the crypto world, every day there are more and more appearing. But what do you need to create a successful ICO? Here is an article on how to get started. Once you understand the processes and concepts behind ICO's, you will be able to tell a good one from a poor one.

What do you think of part 1? would you add anything to it?

Edit

Here is part two:-

What do you think? Feedback would be greatly appreciated

Thanks for sharing these links man, most specially for the second link. This will surely help a lot of people like me who only know little to nothing about how to find really promising ICOs amd differentiate them from the trashy ones or scam ICOs. I will surely put these knowledge into use and keep it in my notes so i can gain more profits rather than great loses.
973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining on Mobile Phone on: October 24, 2017, 05:45:26 PM
of course will be great thing when you get btc from your phone

That would be really nice. I agree.

But the thing is, mobile phones are not meant for mining obviously. And doing this to a mobile phone would be like throwing your phone away. Because clearly, mining with your phone will literally destroy it. Plus, high end mobile phones these days are way too expensive to risk for mining. Better if you mine with a pc which can be way cheaper than mining with your mobile phone.
974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone here living full time on cryptocurrencies? Can you give guidance? on: October 24, 2017, 05:18:06 PM
Is there anyone here that is making money full time in the cryptospace?  If so, can you help guide with below questions?

> What is the minimum investment a newbie needs?
> How do you select an investment?
> Do you HODL or day-trade?
> If you day-trade - how do you pick a coin that is day-trade worthy?

Thank you in advance for your time and help!

There is no such thing as minimum and maximum when it comes to investing. The only limit is your willingness to gamble. And how much you can afford to gamble.

Well, in the crypto world, you can either go with the well known and get a bit sure profits, or go with ICOs. Niw when you go with ICOs, the most important thing to consider are the developers of the project. Search about them, and if they hapoen to have bad reputations or feedbacks, then turn a 180degrees away from the ICO.

I do both to maximize profits.

I look at the charts and trust my gut feeling.
It is something not teachable, can only be learned by experience.

-hope this helps.
975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Pre-ICO]Nousplatform - Platform for decentralized investment funds on: October 24, 2017, 05:05:28 PM
How can this be different from other projects? I mean, yes the concept is great and all and can really be potentially great and achieve success in the future. But, i have seen this kind of concept before. Are there any proofs for your claims?
976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s everyone’s opinion on Ripple (XRP)? on: October 24, 2017, 08:57:26 AM
What does everything think will happen with ripple in the near future and distant future

Any good news or bad news on the project

Please give your opinions

To be honest, i really do not like ripple that much. Just happened to get some because of an irrational decision. But still, I do not want to sell what I possess just yet. Im in this coin for the profit. It made a great decision crawling with banks. The thing is, if the banks that use thus coin sees a better one, and thinks of abandoning ripple in exchange for a better choice, that would be a bad thing. And that ain't impossible to happen. Because clearly, greed always beats loyalty. If not always, then most of the time. That's just how this world works. So im staying in the middle. Having a few ripple for profit.
977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If No more ICO what do you do as a bounty hunter ? on: October 24, 2017, 08:34:13 AM
if you do not have a side job other than bounty hunter  what do you guys do as a bounty hunter if there is no more ICO ??

To be honest, i highky doubt that this would ever happen in tge near or far future. You know why? Because people are greedy. And people are willing to stoop lower than ever just to get what they want. Some are even willing to make effortless ICO scams tgat are so easy to spot and not feel even a bit of humiliation.

But assuming that it really will happen or has happened already., Then i guess I'll be back to trading again together with my daily job. Although I do them still, i pour all my free time into bounties.
978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in alts in 2018. on: October 23, 2017, 06:50:27 AM
I have 1500 soferox coins and they'd be selling for 0.18$ per coin after the ICO ends (according to them) so that's about 270$ and I'm planing on investing that smaller sum into some alt-coin. Any recommendations? I'm not that much in the alt-coin story so not quite well known with the market. I was thinking of ETH or some bigger coin, but what about the smaller ones?

It is good that you are thinking of investing to grow your money. The thing is, a lot of alternative coins out there are scams or shitcoins. Which is frightening for an investor. But, it can really assure you big profits. It is a big gamble with great possibilities. But if you want long term investments for like 1-4+ years, i say go for the big time coins like bitcoins and  etherium because they both have great potential for they have survived a lot already(although there aint much going on with etherium, the fact that it is the coin that is mostly used by other ICOs, is a great reason to invest in it.).

But really, i siggest you to not sell your soferox coins yet. Better if you wait for the pump before dumping it. Because soferox really does have some great features with minimal negativities. But still, its your choice. So think wisely.
979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🔵 UTRUST 🔵 The future of online payments is here. on: October 23, 2017, 05:27:15 AM
243 pages on ico? This is what I call Hype:) Lets see how it goes!

All this activity has also to do with the ICO being postponed to November. Now everyone is wishfully waiting for ICO to start and meanwhile keeps the hype up here in this thread.

There is so much activity in the uTrust thread, my bitcointalk keeps freezing. Seems to happen when i visit this thread the most, you guys have similar issues?

Currently having the same problems also in terms of loading this thread in the forum. Have been refreshing this link for 4 time already and was just able to view it on the 5th try. For a second, i really thought it was because of the big hype on the project itself, but later on, i realized that it was the entire site. Have figured out that the whole bitcointalk.org forum is such a mess right now. And the mods and other staff of the forum are still working on this issue.

Hope this gets fixed and soon, gets better.
980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam or real ico on: October 23, 2017, 03:36:45 AM
Their are so many ongoing ico, am finding it hard to differentiate between scam and good ico, which one do you think is worth investing in?

There really are a lot of ICOs going on right now. While most of all these ICOs are clearly trashy coins, there are some that are truly legitimate. Now, one technique i am using is that when you already have a list of coins tgat interests you or you have heard about, go and try researching about the developing team first before reading through the white paper and the ann thread. So you can save time.
