1161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: September 24, 2015, 10:36:41 AM
I've became interested in playing dice games with my BTC but every time I play I lose. Is there something that I'm doing wrong, or dice games are supposed to be like that? (sorry I'm new to this) Isn't there a guide or tutorial where I could get started playing these games? I don't know how this really works. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks  Wink

So far, I like dicecoin.io  Cheesy

Martingale all the way. Make sure you have a big bankroll, and as soon as you make some profit, leave. The house edge will get you some day, some time. When you least expect it.
1162  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: September 24, 2015, 10:31:16 AM
there are so many threads like this.
better u go check first before u posting  Grin
best way to earn here is by signature campaign, trading, and gambling.
My apologies for making another thread. I'll do my best not to make a duplicate thread again. I'll do a search before I create a thread.

With that out of the way, signature campaign! I'm in the same one as yours! Cheesy 777coin seems really good, so yeah.

Trading: I'll try that and see if I can get some more coins to play with:)

Gambling: Yes, yes, yes. Gambling is fun, I'll have to say. 777coin makes it fun too :p

Anyways, thanks for the advice!
I don't recommend gambling. They're got house edge so you will eventually lose, no matter what.
Just gamble what are you willing to lose Wink

The house edge will mainly affect you in the long run, make a short, quick, small profit, then get the hell outta there.

Is there a way to check whether this extension is safe? Beside that, this is the extension I've been waiting for.

According to my understanding, you have to be active in an activity period to be credited that period.
1165  Other / Meta / Re: Why bitcointalk.org Looks so Bad on: September 24, 2015, 10:04:00 AM
I've heard bitcointalk's been planning a makeover, which I really think it needs. Take a look at the steam forums, they are beautiful. At least in the top section of the page, make the buttons bigger...

I really don't think so. But who knows?
1167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: September 24, 2015, 12:09:26 AM
In the short term, you can win. But due to the house edge, you always have either a bigger chance of losing than winning, or winning will usually only win back the same or less than what you put in and lost. I've tried martingale before, it won me alot, until I went on a huge losing streak.

Maybe sports betting is pretty profitable, but anything can happen. Remember that Japanese horse?

Lol, don't get me started on eSports betting. Teams either throw, or play badly. Only bet in those big competitions, like the CSGO Katowice and Cologne.

Do "bump" s count as posts, and if not, what are the parameters of a post that is counted?
1169  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: How & Where do I start in mining ........ on: September 23, 2015, 11:47:30 PM
You're right, it does summarize alot, albeit outdated.
1170  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: where can i buy a Bitcoin miner on: September 23, 2015, 11:28:22 PM
Amazon, eBay, etc. But why would you want a miner? Just invest in cloud mining. Everything is taken care of.

1174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Minergate? on: September 15, 2015, 05:30:21 AM
1.You can exchange those coins at something like HitBTC.com or maybe Poloniex or Kraken.

2. Minergate Software doesn't work for GPU mining, actually, don't use it at all. The alternative mining clients are best. Use something like Claymore's GPU and CPU clients.

I've tried downloading Claymore's clients, but I've found them a little fishy. I downloaded it, and my av gave me the usual Trojan report. But when I tried to delete it after, I couldnt, it said it was in use. I restarted my pc and I still couldn't... A little sus to me.

3. Mine Bytecoin or Monero, those are the most profitable.

4. If you have a GPU with more than 2GB of VRAM, go mine ethereum instead, it's the most profitable Coin to mine right now with Video Cards.

Happy mining.

I'm not sure how much VRAM I have, but I'll go home and check. I can get up to 160 kh/s on cpu mining bytrcoin, so I'll see what I can do with ethereum. (I use a dell XPS pc)

Looking for offers!
1177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Minergate? on: September 11, 2015, 11:48:16 PM
Hey guys, I'm pretty new to the cryptocurrency frontier Cheesy

I just started using Minergate, which I have mined on for a little. I have a few questions though.

1. How do I convert these coins into bitcoin? I can't find a market on cryptsy, and there are a few sites that have markets, but are pretty confusing ;~;

2. I can't GPU mine? It says under GPU mining "Start mining", but when I click it, nothing happens. Once in a while, when I click a "start mining" button, my minergate hangs for a full minute...

Any helpful answers would be greatly appreciated!
