anyone know why with hexminer 1.0.0.3 i cannot increase the voltage above 1.000?

You should be able to increase the voltage when the miner already connected to your PC & set right port.

definitely can't increase no matter what. tried having just one miner, tried increasing when running, when not running. 1.0.0.2 works, but freezes constantly and starts rejecting everything.
In the end consider a tplink host for mining and forget Wink
1162  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 28, 2014, 06:47:12 AM
OMG they are freemasons! (That is soooo funny, and cute, at the same time.)

They do still exist! (Old joke.)

Not saying it is... but it looks photo-shopped. (The two guys in front, close to the camera have tiny heads. Just looks odd that the ones further away, in the background are so much unproportionally larger. Weird effect on the camera too. Looks like an old 1890's box-camera took the photo.)

Now THAT is good detective work! Creepy almost... but good. (Not sure if it is helping AMT or hurting them. Now that I know they are masons... I want to buy even more stuff from them! Tongue)

Phinnaeus Gage, the more you dig-up, the more real it makes AMT look... Was that your point? I forget now. Tongue (Kudo's on the deep-searching. You impress me now.)

They lied about working late to get miners shipped out, coming here six days later stating that they're behind indefinitely due to some parts not being invented yet (their words).

Joshua Zipkin lied about Harrison being a friend of the founder of AMT, when in fact Harrison Z. Zipkin is Josh's father.

Harrison Zipkin has been shown to run shady companies.

Since the nut doesn't fall far from the tree, and Joshua is proving that adage here, I took it upon myself to rake the nuts together onto one pile so that all the squirrels don't have to work as hard independently.

One last question....Does anyone think these RIGS will make ROI at 1.5TH/s?

Will we ever make our 12K back? Or are we doomed to fail due to this opened marketing?

~SSgt Merry
I do think you will make usd roi but yo newer make btc roi my personal opinion.
1164  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 28, 2014, 05:11:56 AM
I would like to formally apologize to AMT for showing up.

I think they took it as me "stalking" them.

I meant nothing nasty or RUDE about it. what I meant was to show up and meet the staff or even just see the building existed.

I apologize if I scared you by showing up on my "PICKUP date", as posted on your website. I was just doing what your website told me to do for "PICKUP in person at your office".

I suggest you take this option off of your page so nobody else "stalks" you guys at your office.

(SIDENOTE: Did anyone here that saw my videos today, think I was "stalking" or "threatening" at all? Did I give off that vibe?)

~SSgt Merry
Dude,
Please do excuse me. I was wrong about you take my deep apology.
It is just my eu thinking is different from your US way of thinking. Sorry. I just can not get you guys

Nice review as always  Grin

So it's can run with 8 chips command(8:260) right?

Shocked Woo, patch for cgminer 4.0.0
Yup it can Wink
However if you run both 8 chip and 4 chip to a same host leave the chip count to 8, otherwise use 4 as chipcount
1166  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 27, 2014, 06:28:27 PM
If AMT would have just posted more pics or a video or even something saying "We got ourselves in way to deep, it will be a challenge but we will ship the miners" then it would have saved about 10 pages of posts. Everyone can have as many speculations as they want, but AMT is the only one that REALLY knows what's going on.

Agreed, but they haven't and now we are in cuckoo tin foil hat land with the message board vultures circling praying that other members here fail and lose money so that they can be 'right'. Quite pathetic all around I would say.
Well, they really do bring this on themselves. Given how easy it would be to just come on and say "We're having technical issues", it makes people think the worst when nothing comes out. It doesn't help that the continue to paint themselves into a corner by claiming on Friday to have shipped at least one of the 1.2TH/s machines and saying that a bunch more will ship at the start of this week. Makes it hard to admit now that you don't have a working product.

All they really needed to say was "Hey, we're using the rig boards and we're on hold until Bitmine sorts out the issues" or "We've got an engineering firm working on our own board; it's having issues but here's the path forward". That they didn't do such a thing makes you wonder why.

That's all assuming they haven't shipped out a whole bunch of the 1.2TH/s miners, of course. I would eat this styrofoam plate in front of me if that was the case, though.
That would be a good excuse a week ago Smiley
But after the dirty lie that they are working day and night and are shipping, there is no way back except to hide Grin
While someone sorts this out instead of them. The beauty of it is that they have a bunch of chips doing nothing and are in same position like their customers on the Queue waiting for the next week miracle to happen
If they were wise enough they could have all chips hashing for a mount for own profit and to ship on time no losers and everyone are happy. But as we know every next day the shit is getting deeper and deeper Grin
Besides there are some unhappy customers and a legal actions are on the way
Good luck amt Grin

AMT, and my fellow miners...

I will be down there within 12 hours to check out your facility and your 1.2 TH/s miner.

I received an EMAIL from Jim, discouraging my visit; however I need to see this for myself and for the forums sake. This will put all bull crap and speculation to rest. I am willing to bet you are a real company and trolls are just trolls. This is just for my personal sake, to ensure you guys didn't scam me. If you did, I have a back up plan for that too, good ol' speed dial to the cops and your bank.

Expect me at bldg E1 within the next 12 hours(between 11AM and 1PM). I won't be late.

To all those out there concerned, I will be video taping basically whatever they let me video tape. I hope this is to god this is legit...If you are legit and you present me a halfway decent miner, you have another 30K coming your way.

Wish me luck my fellow miners! ~

Casiriahmine,

I do strongly believe that you are not Jim/gorge or AMT undercover. The lack or presence of the video which will be taped will show this for sure. A fancy video with miners/office and whatever you shoot will mean that this is wise AMT planned move. For what no one knows?Huh Probably to build a positive reputation and collect more money. That is another story Grin
Just a final comment about your 30 K coming. Have in mind that there other options for you to spent 30K and get same performance with immediate delivery or within a week or two at BETTER PRICE. I am not going to do the math right here or to quote suppliers. There are enough threads around for you to look and check. Spending 30K with all the info present in this thread is suicidal at least for me. But as long it is your money or just undercover AMT PR i do not care.
I do really hope that you are just a newbie customer with one post and you will find nothing interesting to show/tape. We will wait and see...
I wish you luck
PS: I received an EMAIL from Jim,......
It looks very suspicions you are the only one reeving mails from AMT lately Grin
Guy's
Did someone with more that 500 posts here received mails from AMT lately?

So if the video shows nothing it is real but if the video shows miners its a fake from AMT to scam more money?

and who said the email from Jim was lately? Casiriahmine has been posting about making a visit for a while.
YourPalToots ,

I am telling what i think is going on here. However i am not a god so do not take my words as pure and only truth. You are the one to judge. However do you think it is normal for a newbie probably never mined before to wish to spent 30K for march 31st delivery at that price? Fishy a? Besides who cares about Casiriahmine business plan and amounts to be spent? Speaking honestly i don't. And i will never announce it to public if i were Casiriahmine. What about you?
Once again you are the customer and decision is yours.
It will be much more easier for all of us if:
1. If someone got a miner according to official statement that shipping is in progress from a week now
2. If AMT just show up and post a couple of pics and video of their miner - not good for me but i am sure that it is good enough for you

But if Third party shows that it must be pure truth? I do not think so Grin
I was offered to make a review for their miner. I do not know if it was a joke or for real. I am ready to pay for the miner at reasonable price and make it. Again silence? Why? I am not asking for a free lunch...AMT management again
PS: do not get me wrong i am not begging for a miner not at all Grin
1169  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The Wasp Project Collective Information thread. on: February 27, 2014, 03:06:43 PM

I believe price and quantity was an issue. Again though we will work on anything into a wasp if there are reasonable prices and quantities of ASICs available.
Bicknellski ,

There is no such thing like reasonable prices and quantities in ASIC world.  This is monopoly. I can fully understand how big and risky the investment to manufacture a single ASIC chip is. But i can not understand the demand. We are ready to pay any price like it is a drug and our life depends on it. And unless we as community act as one and refuse to pay ridiculous margins to chip suppliers nothing will change. I am trying to say that you have to be prepared to work on everything upfront with loss in terms of time invested and money. Then wait for your moment to come.

I wish you and your project success.

There is reasonable there is price gouging. We might agree on the idea of "monopoly" if there was only one fabricator of ASIC chips. We are working on everything upfront. The designs we release are our best efforts to get boards married to ASICs that give the best value given the market. There really is no reason to fabricate 110nm Avalon Gen I Wasps given there is no ready supply of chips. What is left of the community at this point of DIYers need to pool resources and build an ASIC chip that is Open Source so that we can continue working on miners. Otherwise the "monopolies" will continue.

Chip prices are our concern. WPC members are very concerned and they will be interested in making boards locally. So as a design team we want to make sure that the WPC members and the community get the best deal they can. There is really no reason to build with chips that are over priced unless someone wants to forward chips to us and then we can make miners fit that chip. Given the difficulty that Bitmine is having say with the A1 it is interesting that our alternative open source designs or others could be used to bolster their own stable of miners. We are not just dumping designs on the market we are keen as members in the WPC to be active in cloud mining, pools as well as miner design which means we look at chip prices and adapt to the market.
Sounds great expect "Chip prices are our concern" unless you are not planning to be an asic manufacturer.
I am looking closely to chip prices - Bitfury gen1 chips 3GH top 17 USD if i recall correctly the info from yesterday. Great adaption. Avalon2 2500/13BTC = 0.0052 each x 580 USD = 3USD for 1.8 GH BTC ROI is 6 weeks away just to pay chip price
And so on.

Avalon Gen II not really that cost effective, BitFury at 17 USD is not the best pricing as I said we were hoping for something that was more competitive. $ per GH/s is the coming down but these "old" chips certainly haven't really come down enough have they to meet what say the Minion or A1 chips costs or have I missed the numbers? We have Bitfury chips and will make a BitFury Wasp after we clear the A1 off the decks first.

For instance take some Bitfury and avalon 2 chips. According to rumors next gen is coming which will be almost equal to old gens in terms of communication and pin out. Do you design test it. Make sure that it works and be prepared not to discover the wheel when you need to act fast. As long as you are going to make some profit from your know how as long as we pay the chip price it is not your concern.

Hi,
I'm writing here as far we did some business with AMT in the past.
All I can say for sure is that it is not a scam.
They made orders for our heX16B boards  with us and payments were in time as promised.
Josh is a man of his word , even been in a bad situation with forwarding from EU to USA he managed to fix it.
I'm not able to know where are they with Coincraft miners as far we did not met each other in terms of pricing and stuff for 28nm generation.
Any way  considering all the troubles with design and production I think they will make this thing a working product in some moment.
When I am not able to say.
Do all understand it's a lot of hard work putting all this together even if you have experience...

Just my 0.02 BTC

I wish you were still involved. I love my HEX16B's Cheesy
And i love my concraft 8 chip board hashing from 3 weeks now nonstop at full power Cheesy Thank you marto!

Probably someone connect via SSH to the Ant and edit cgminer config (/etc/config/cgminer). Some routers have this port open by default.
Go to http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ and check SSH port (22) is open. If open , close it, and most of all change default password  to the Ant.

this is my conclusion as well....

caused by poor security/complacency and leaving passwords on default  Shocked
Nonsense dude. Any way just my 2 cents read my post carefully and think.
1179  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 26, 2014, 11:48:22 AM
A company like this needs more than just one brain.

I'm just hoping they are renting out the other brains from their vendors. That would just leave amt with putting all in the pretty box. They are most certainly middlemen. I mean that was obvious from bitfury chips with the technobit boards. I don't expect more of that from them. They are quite obviously assemblers and not makers. I just expect them to assemble them quickly enough that I get mine by march 31st.

All the intellectual work is being done elsewhere, and I'm fine with that. I'm hoping that since they have the chips everything is in place when my miner comes due. Though that is cautious optimism with paleful of skepticism.
Good luck to you dude...As long you accepted 31st of march delivery and you are fine with that and the price also the only thing left for them to be on time
