1161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Medical student wins lottery 5 times after embezzling graduation funds on: January 30, 2023, 09:47:03 PM
he has been heavily addicted to gambling because he should only chase victory and leave gambling.
She is definitely addicted to gambling, I don't think someone that's not addicted to gambling will gamble with the money that's not his/her own, I don't think their is any assurance that you are going to win when gambling, when gambling the chances of winning and losing is just 50/50, so why will you use the money that's not your own to do what you are not assured of win. Definitely she have being doing it before and probably she have been winning but she is not lucky this time around. She have to be forced to pay back the money so that she can learn her lesson.
Maybe you have a point too. She might be doing this even before but it’s only now that she has been caught because of severe gambling addiction. My worries is on her classmates because now that their funds are lost, then how they will cope up with their upcoming graduation? I just hope the parents of this student involved in gambling will also make an action on how to resolve the problem because whatever their daughter has done, it will always affect them.
Totally under your responsibility unless if she's married but if not then she would be always under you and also even if they arent been able to told so which it would really be that initiative for the parents on trying out to

face on what their daughter had committed which i could say that this isnt something a small amount to deal with.If she do have a wealthy family then money issues wont really be that much a problem
but if not then this is where huge argumentation and discussion would happen on how they would be paying up.

As for the admin or faculty then graduation isnt something that could be delayed.Parents would be still trying out to contribute again about on what are those fees and other
payments as long their child would be able to graduate.Things would be dealt up later.
1162  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the bitcoin price continue to increase? on: January 30, 2023, 08:45:03 PM

Because I very rarely see people who have bought Bitcoin then expect a drop back in Bitcoin, and to me that is a very strange thing even though you have the ability to buy it and I have never doubted the ability of someone to buy more Bitcoin at any time just.

The price increase of bitcoin will definitely happen in the future, if not now, it will also occur in 2025. I am not in a hurry to expect it to increase in price soon because I invest in a very comfortable mood, and I do not need the profit yet. What I need is x10, x100 profit, not x2 or x5. Think about it, you buy 10 bitcoins for 10k dollars, and you buy 5 bitcoins for 20k dollars, and when bitcoin hits 100k, which one will give you a bigger profit?
The wrong thing on here is that people are really that in hurry on seeing profits on the time that they had invested or make some buyback on which they are really that in rush for some price increase without even tending

to realize on how this market behaves or works. If they've been through on some count of market cycles then they would really be able to tell to themselves that everything would really be unpredictable and it would really be happening basing up on a snap or on the time where trend and demand would really make out some movement. This is where people would be boggling up their minds on when it would happen.
This is why on every step you do make would really be having that kind of risk taken.
1163  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You Learn More from Losses than from Wins on: January 26, 2023, 11:40:12 PM
Remember the first trading lesson you learned as a newbie? Did it come from a win or a loss? A loss teaches you about the reality of the market, protects you from becoming cocky, and humbles you. When you are a beginner trader, a small loss is not a terrible thing. Losses teach you proper trading risk management strategies and techniques and respect for the market and prepare you for long-term success.

Remember the first lesson you learned as a beginner trader? Did it come from a loss or a win?

The first lesson as a beginner trader is not to be lazy to add insight, you must have a clear trading plan and be able to control stop losses.
I agree with your opinion that actually from losses we can take meaningful learning.
But it depends on how the individual responds to the loss they experience.
Some of us think that losses are there to fix, not to be repeated.
But this actually also has to be accompanied by a strong mentality to survive.
Learning from your mistakes + continuous reading up others real time experience

These are the best combination you should really be able to test out on which you would really be finding yourself to learn up things along the way if you are really just not minding about your mistake or errors.
You should also go on reading up others experiences which would be adding up more idea and make you more faster on learning and getting that sufficient experience.

This is they key on sustaining yourself and mind off that it wont be something that easy to deal with because it would be taking some long time and lots of efforts.
1164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I be worried? on: January 26, 2023, 10:46:50 PM
AI word was used to pull big and tiny capital investors around the world especially in ICO period. But nowadays we don't see much as its replaced by Metaverse and nft implemented games etc. You should never forget this: Most of metaverse projects will fail in long run. They were initiated in a period when there was metaverse craze, like gold rush. So you should pick only the best metaverse projects around. So your money will be safe.
That's been proven and we saw that many of these projects have fallen. The word metaverse and nft really pulled a lot of money in most pockets and as well as bring profit to many.
But those that have been late with the craze, they're the ones that have suffered and that's why being interested in it now isn't worth it at all. Those that have sold a lot of NFTs at a good price have raked money on their pockets and will for sure going to buy back whatever they wish to hold.
actually the right term is Fooled a lot of people , towards investing to those who uses Metaverse and NFT but in the end scams is what comes to the victims.
we have seen so many problems trying to connect their business and names to those 2 but the target is to scam people.
Whatever hype or shilled out things on this market or simply say about being on whats the trend, then you could really anticipate or expect something or someone who would really be using up these things for their own
sake and trying out to scam out people and doesnt mind on how they would be affecting those people as long they could able to scam out someone for their own benefit. This is why we should really be that careful
on dealing up with things which are obviously been used for luring out people to make out investment and trying to simply jump with the hype and trend.
If you are not that careful then this is where you do end up mostly.
1165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Common Online Gambling Fraud on: January 26, 2023, 10:43:56 PM
The common one start with the gambling casino requesting for KYC often especially when the gambler would have won, they introduced this verification procedures in ither to help delay and possibly cross check the winner for more verifiable authentication before handing over the fund to him but eventually it turns to an offence on the gambler's end since incomplete procedures to that may hinder him from redeeming his winnings, which they never taught about to request him doing before he won, the more reason many now termed it as gambling fraud in some cases.
This is why it would be always sensible that you should stick out on sites or platforms which are known to be that reliable and could really be trusted or does have less issues when it comes on giving huge winnings
because this had been that very common on where players do able to experience it out on which they've been asked for some further verifications on the time that they would win big which do really sucks.
If ever they had won then there's no other hassle things that a certain player should experience out and pay the winnings in full without any requirements or whatsoever.
They are running a business which does have some jackpot which it would be not shocking if ever someone do hit up big.
1166  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we end the *VOLATILITY OF BITCOIN* on: January 26, 2023, 09:41:44 PM
The volatility of bitcoin won't end anytime, I think we have to give more time for more people to appreciate bitcoin and use it in daily business transactions. At the moment, I believe some form of regulation can help make things pretty much more stable than we have at the moment otherwise we shall experience more issues with volatility. The high price volatility of Bitcoin and other decentralized cryptocurrencies will never evaporate. On the perverse, if the expense of cryptocurrency will improve, the volatility will only boost, as the expense spectrum will develop.
As long as the price of cryptocurrency will depend on supply and demand, the high price volatility of cryptocurrency will remain. Still think the ETF funds can solve this problem, or at least will lessen the volatility of Bitcoin. The more control of the market, the less volatility it will be, now we still don't have any rule or laws to govern this market,.

We dont have any problems
We dont need for some regulation or rules to govern on this market
We dont need to be handled it out by the government

This is the primary reason on why decentralized projects specially Bitcoin had made due into its purpose. If you cant bare out about the risk or deal with the volatility that it gives
then it isnt really something for you because its been volatile since it first existed and come to mind off that people around are much prefering with this moving prices
since this is the way that we could really make out some money or profits.
1167  Economy / Economics / Re: Can I take a loan to invest in bitcoin? on: January 25, 2023, 11:50:16 PM
Borrowing money to invest in bitcoin is not something special. I know a few people who have implemented this idea. As a result of these investment processes, some people made some money and conversely some lost money, some invested in bitcoin, and the rest became debtors when investing in luna. .. The lesson learned is in the states of always deciding for yourself. Only bitcoin can come back, some altcoins won't Smiley)
Taking a loan and investing that money in Bitcoin is risky but not bad. There is risk in everything.  A person who does big business tries to expand his business by taking loans from different banks.  Is his success guaranteed there? He can not lose in business? Of course it can, so think of Bitcoin investment as a business and keep it long-term to be successful. But if you don't have personal money then you shouldn't take a big loan. You have to maintain a limitation that never puts you in danger
This is where risk management would really takes place because there are people who could bare up with the risk and there are ones who cant just able to accept nor able to play with fire and decides to avoid instead.

We know that each person does have different approach when it comes to  Bitcoin or crypto as a whole where they do see that its a risky and unpredictable thing to involved with but there are ones who sees about on that opportunity side of things which i could say that it is really that normal. For those who do took the risk are the ones who could potentially make out some income and to those who had play safe
would miss out those possible opportunities.
1168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Nonito Donaire vs Jason Moloney on: January 25, 2023, 10:41:57 PM
D. Moloney by decision

I have voted this on the poll which i do believe that the younger ones would be having the edge on this fight but wont really be enough on taking down Donaire though.
Donaire is past on his prime although he could still kick some ass on the ring but lets see if he could be able to pin down Moloney but i would put up my bet
on the younger one. Experience is relevant but wont be something that assures you to be beaten up by someone whose younger that you.
Power isnt also a joke for Moloney.
1169  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Btc get to $12k or $10k on: January 25, 2023, 09:55:41 PM
After going through a bad period, namely FTX and the lowest price is $ 15k then I'm sure the price will rise soon, after the big case that occurred in 2022 then I'm sure investors will be very vigilant and store assets in private wallets so they won't panic when problems occur with exchanges .

Big investors know when to take advantage of the market, they buy bitcoins and transfer them to private wallets from exchanges. Due to the FTX incident, many crypto investors faced various problems. This caused panic in the market and retail traders started panic selling. And big investors bought those bitcoins. But with the start of the new year, the market has seen positive growth, which has given crypto investors a lot of relief.
If there are sellers then there are ones who are really that waiting for those opportunities to buy cheap coins and its true that those who are veterans or simply those oldies and whales does really know on how to deal

up with this market. In speaking about 10-12k price then lots of people are really that talking much into this point which could possibly happen but in the end we are really seeing things which is really that oppose into this price speculation. It might too far off  but the possibilities is always there, this is why i dont really make out some conclusive approach when it comes to price points knowing that
bitcoin could suddenly make some breakout whether on bearish or bullish move.
1170  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it safe to buy now? on: January 25, 2023, 09:52:43 PM
I observed that the cryptocurrency market is a kind of green at the moment, but as a beginner, I still find it difficult to tell when the market is actually bullish. I will appreciate any advice from fellow community members concerning this current situation because I'm considering to buy some coins but finding it difficult to decide on which coin to give a trail.
Regardless of the position of cryptocurrency, it can be reduce it's price drastically or further improve. There is a common matter of risk. Those who can invest and understand these things will succeed. At present, a small pumping event has been visible at BTC market, which is why all the crypto markets are now active. At the moment there are more than 1 trillion transactions have been done. The current Bitcoin price is about 23000, according to the market situation Bitcoin price is still within the range and this time can be considered as a good time for investment. A slight price reduction after purchase is acceptable. Moreover, this is definitely a good time to buy if you have long-term investment preparations.
There's always only 3 days whether it would be going up, going down or going sideways.

There's no way that we would be able to precisely predict on where it would be going due to some factors or doesnt really been affected by anything at all on which it is really making much more harder on this point.
This is why people would really be banging up their heads on making use of lots of speculations out from their own analysis which is something that much better to do so rather than
on price predicting or guessing using your own emotion and intuition.
1171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I be worried? on: January 24, 2023, 10:41:03 PM
Once upon a time I used to be into everything that has everything to do with Artificial Intelligence and I was happy that some blockchain projects are into A.I but they never seem to get better adoption, A.I is something g the world wants but it just seem too early, now I've give up on crypto / blockchain A.I projects but now

There is now a possible hype for AI-related projects. Previously, this technology did not have such a use along with blockchain because there were few applications, but now that the industry has greatly expanded in the number of different products, AI projects may start to be in demand.

We do even see those AI-based tokens/coins in the market did make out some significant jump in price. On the current or recent talks about OpenAI chatGPT which turns out that it is really that gradually been hyped up.

This is why for those who had made out some investment into particular projects which is correlated to it then there's still that have a chance but its true that when it comes to general application and integration
then it would really be particularly needing up some time because these things arent something that could deal up or fully developed on shorter years to come.
@OP, invest on where you do seem the demand is really that in going.
1172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: January 24, 2023, 09:35:56 PM
Inoue needs to grow His career Up and he will not have it if not taking one step forward , he had been dominating the Bantamweight division for years and I think he becomes boring not having a best opponent so this is the best move to challenge His skills and capacity, though Fulton is really strong and skillful , yet Naoya is his best opponent for this title match.
He has nothing to accomplished in 118 lbs, he has all the belts and clean up the division, beating the likes of Nonito Donaire in the process. So it make sense for him to move up and again unify all the belts in super bantamweight because it will be history.
I like the fact Inoue is setting himself for bigger things than just dominating his division, on the whole history of boxing not many boxers have become undisputed champions at two different weight divisions and it is obvious this is what Inoue is going to try to do, and while becoming an undisputed is without a doubt a testament to his skill, if he could do this on a second division this will make him a legend fans will always remember fondly.
For any boxer then pretty sure that most of them would really be having that kind of target or pursuing a career on holding up different belts for different weight divisions and this is where Inoue is really trying to pursue

on and of course he would really be starting up to climb up the ladder on which Inoue is been trying out and lets see that he would be able to cope it out and dominate this current weight class that he's tending to touch up.It is really just that it is that too fast on dealing with Fulton? Im not really that have doubts on Inoue's capability but pretty much sure that this wont really be a walk in a park
type of fight that he would be facing on.
1173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I managed to invite 1 of my friends to invest in bitcoin on: January 24, 2023, 08:54:12 PM
Invitation is never the problem but teaching them to know all necessary information about Bitcoin, basically the risk involved with owing Bitcoin, things like how to properly secure or store their BTC, sending and receiving etc, and lastly allowing the person to take the investment decision itself base on the information he got to know about Bitcoin.
If you are that someone who do have that ample knowledge about bitcoin and other things correlated to crypto as whole then we do have the idea on where we would be suggesting on what sites or places for them to

check out.Even explaining to them with the basic ideas wont really be that hard and time consuming, and the rest would be depending on his/her real engagement or experience towards it because not everything
could be learned on write ups but rather also with real experience or engagement through it.

It would be that impossible that you wouldnt be able to realize something on the time that you do decide to dive in.
1174  Economy / Economics / Re: How is the cost of living in your country? on: January 23, 2023, 11:44:54 PM
not much different from your country, maybe my country is more expensive, what else are staples, you need to rack your brains to make ends meet, but what you need to know right now is that everything is experiencing price spikes not only in our country, so we use our finances to live, not  for lifestyle
I totally agree with your point, "fulfilling the needs of life, not a lifestyle". Because from what I experienced before, it is precisely the lifestyle that makes our monthly expenses continue to increase. I started to leave the habit of living like that, and I feel it is useful for the future. We can save the money that was previously used for lifestyle, and it feels very useful for my life. We can't do that continuously, because we have to think about tomorrow and the future.
Because many of us prioritize prestige over function.
Actually, in this case, it's not really wrong to make ourselves satisfied by buying some quite expensive products as a form of reward for what we get, but not everything has to be like that. because sometimes we also have to think about something else like saving or investing. Even though we really have to enjoy life, when we spend too much, this actually makes us torture ourselves regardless of anything.
Im not really that love to tolerate that kind of mindset which you would really be that saying that we do only live once or live your life to the fullest on which you do really be ending up on spending like there's no tomorrow or something that pertains about spending on things which are not really that necessary.Well, its your money but you should really be mindful on what are the priorities so that when the time comes on which
you would'nt really be having a hard time on dealing up with thing specially if it do talks about finances. If you do make out some good plans and proper budgeting then you wont
really be making yourself put up on a difficult situation.
1175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK fines online casino for only asking KYC from winning gamblers on: January 23, 2023, 11:10:54 PM

If those new regulations are passed they will affect not only fiat casinos but cryptocurrency casinos will have to eventually follow them as well, do you agree with this idea? Would you like to see casinos to be fined more often for the practice of only asking for personal information from winning gamblers or do you think this will have a harmful effect on their finances?
KYC should really be asked out if they do see something suspicious towards a gambler behavior or activity which it is always been part of their terms and conditions about potential add up requirement if they had noticed

something but if they are really that making it as a standard one, then it turns out that they are really that having some intent on making people do go into the hard path and would solo out those winnings
because we do know that there are people who doesnt really like KYC and would simply ignore out on what they had won but it is unlikely. It is really just that a bad user experience
to have these delays just because you do need to do the requirement first which is really that too hassle.
1176  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price with a 4 year cycle? on: January 23, 2023, 10:42:48 PM
What would you think if this cycle happened again
--

Do we have to buy more this year?
It is a nice cycle you mapped out. Yea  this year bitcoin will be recovering itself gradually so we still have to buy and store this year so that when next year comes for halving you will be smiling. The prediction for me as of 2025, bitcoin will be it All Time High (ATH).  This year  is the time to buy enough and store it the wallet .
We could indeed make patterns and some says that it isnt really just that a coincidence on making up these listing and trying to see that we are on a recovering state.Whether these things could be real or not

but somehow we are really be able to see that it is really just indeed moving on what we are supposed to see basing up with those patterns but it wont 100% precise for you to rely on with this kind of approach.

4 year cycle? Possibly yes and possibly no, because this market is never been predictable but its not bad on following up with those patterns if you could be able to bare up with the risk.
1177  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Market on the Rise, But Proceed with Caution! on: January 23, 2023, 10:39:21 PM
No one could tell on where is the bottom
No one could tell on where is the peak price at this moment

This is why these things do really make even more harder for us to guess. When you are a crypto investor or trader then it would really be that significant
that you should proceed out with caution since we know that this market could make up some switch up in a blink of an eye without tending to follow
any indicators whether it would be technical or fundamentals and this is why you should watch out.
1178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: QUESTION: For Gambling Enthusiasts ❗❗ on: January 20, 2023, 09:22:49 PM
Can you add another option?
Because the problem of PvP is finding your opponent which can be a problem to site if they focus on that, so better to have a PvP game option and the usual casino games to make the site more fun to play and to gamble. Some gamblers are not a gamer they didn’t want to compete on their own, they just want to place a bet and wait for the result.
Also not all does have the patience on dealing up with games which it is really giving out that kind of long result and would rather they would really be liking on having those instant results which could be only found on dice, roulettes and crash games and not into those typical pvp types like card games and other similar stuffs. This is why it do always falls down on someomes interest and preference and this is where the market
would really be basing on where is really the demand. If they do saw that there's something lacking then for sure they would really be putting more focus on that one.
Every section does have its own market where businesses whether would be trying to cope up or not.
1179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Signs of a better year for btc investors on: January 20, 2023, 08:24:31 PM
Let’s hope 2023 is a much better year, it can’t be much worse than 2022 can it, surely. I’ve said before I think the bottom was hit. We won’t go lower than $15,500 ever again with any luck.

Sure we will hit corrections along the way but I will be very surprised if we don’t end 2023 above $30,000. Hopefully we can all stack stress free this year. I am not in the mood for another absolute beating all year with predominantly downwards price.
We should not make ourselves that too optimistic because if we do look back for the opening year of 2022 on which it do  really looks that everything is good and great but in latter months then it is really becoming a nightmare and this is why i dont really dragged myself to believe on too much for positivity, im not really that bitter but better not to make yourself that hopeful so that you wont really be ending up on getting frustrated or getting annoyed for whatever things that might happen in the market. It is really hard to make out conclusions and this is why it would be better on minding yourself on taking up positions whether you should
buy or sell on a particular time. This is where risk taking would take place which is the most hardest thing at all to be done.
1180  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How Visible is your trading plan on: January 19, 2023, 11:31:23 PM
Trading plan is one thing that cannot be neglected and for better result it best when it is visible. It is the vision a trader runs with. If a trader fails to plan such trader eventually plans to fail. When the heat of the market sets in we often forget our plans and trade from what ever our instinct suggests. But with a written plan it will be easier to set goals, targets, limits, strategies and expectations.

There's a lot of truth in what you've said here, but the harsh reality is that the market will continue to go its own way without a second thought. Setting limits, targets, strategies, expectations, and plans is important, but the best strategy is to lower your expectations and come with an open mind to accept whatever happens to the trading strategy along the way. You will be a better trader than others as a result of this.

a market that continues to go its own way is of course something that cannot be predicted, therefore trading plan A and plan B are needed. When Plan A cannot be carried out, there is an option for Plan B.
I do a trading Plan straight from my mind and remember what to do to trade. The trading plan is influenced by psychology and to be able to overcome it, you must have a strong psychology and stick to the trading plan that has been made. do not follow other people's trading plans because every strategy is not necessarily suitable.
You would really be needing lots of back up plans when you do deal with an unpredictable market and you shouldnt stick into a single plan because it is really that bound to fail up and you should really be that versatile

if you do consider yourself to be a real trader because we know that dealing off with something unpredictable does really need up lots of back up plans if one of your analysis do fails, then it would really be just right

that you should really make out some adjustments or simply trying out to cope up on something.Trade and try to be sustainable as much as you could which it would be normal
that you would be preparing for that.
