I will go on with a bet on double chance for Real Sociedad in their next match against Barcelona in Camp Nou. Call me crazy but I don't think it is a low probability. Instead especially after Barcelona's declaring the La Liga title it is even more sensible to trust their opponents with goals more. Real Sociedad are trying to secure a place in the Champions League and they shouldn't leave this to chance of course.

Who knows maybe Villarreal will keep a winning streak until the end of the season which would increase their chance of taking the fourth place from Real Sociedad. I know Real Sociedad have really tough opponents on the way but they shouldn't fear any of them. They should make them fear Real Sociedad by their high effort.

I said it like Manchester City would have bigger difficulties against big teams without Haaland's contribution. But they totally proved me wrong by demolishing Real Madrid by a whopping 4-0 score. They definitely deserved to reach the finale after this pure domination. They had some parts that they dominated in Bernabeu also but they weren't this much effective at finishing.

But here Real Madrid defense was also a big mess. I couldn't even understand the Militao choice. What did Rudiger do wrong to not get the shirt again? He was really incredible at defending Haaland well in the first leg. Militao's presence just made things worse. By the way Haaland couldn't do much thing in this leg also but it was still such a great example of team play.

The only thing Manchester City need to do as of now is to not underestimate Inter and that must be enough to win the Champions League title finally.

Brighton started the second half in a really strong way as they made the score 2-1 already in six minutes. This is pretty worrying for Newcastle as Brighton have pumped some morale for themselves again. We have all seen how impressive Brighton's general performance has been so far. Maybe there was a huge defeat against Everton recently but they are still doing a pretty neat job in general.

Some moves came from Brighton side also and Mac Allister is in the match now. He is like one of the most important midfielders for the team right now and he is a wanted player by some top teams already. If Newcastle start having issues with scoring one more to bring the score into a safer condition a possible comeback by Brighton wouldn't be surprising in my opinion.

This is an important match for both sides in the end.

But if I were in PSG's place I wouldn't be very eager to sell him unless I find a solid replacement. Because there is no player who can fill his place strongly in the squad right now. The only alternatives for the right-back position are Pembele and Mukiele. For the right midfield position I don't know if anyone can still do this job as good as him now.

I don't think it would be the right thing to underestimate Leverkusen now. Maybe there is some drop in their form recently but the work they have done so far is really impressive anyway. Xabi Alonso is doing an amazing job for a manager who is at the beginning of his career. He is admired by some big names in football also. I know that he is facing a huge experience like Mourinho in this round and they are already 1-0 behind against Roma on aggregate.

But I think nothing has finished just yet. Bookmakers think the same as it seems when we check the odds of the second leg match. Leverkusen are favoured quite much in their home match and I started feeling like this won't end in regular time. We might see a similar scenario Roma had against Feyenoord in the second leg maybe.

Mourinho's name has been called with PSG's manager position recently. It wouldn't make me surprised if we see such deal either because Mourinho is one of the very experienced managers in Europe now. Besides Mourinho can leave Roma anyway especially if he fails in qualifying for the Champions League this season. His name has been called with Chelsea as well but it looks like they are close to having a deal with Pochettino.

But I wonder how much successful Mourinho would be with PSG in that case. He likes to play a defensive game as much as possible you know. PSG have a squad that should be used for an attacking-oriented game obviously. I assume that Mourinho would be ready to make some changes in his usual strategies in that case to not have problems on making the team reach their potential.

Schalke really started to deserve the Bundesliga recently but it looks like things have started going bad again for them. I mean especially their heavy loss against Bayern Munich. Of course I didn't have expectations like Schalke to win. But they were performing quite poor for a team trying to not relegate from the league. This needs to be improved on the remaining two weeks. This can be the only way for Schalke to maintain their hopes.

They are already in the relegation field maybe but they are in a situation that they can lose even this place easily. Frankfurt and Leipzig are really tough teams to defeat though. Therefore I'm thinking about the possibility that Schalke can go back to the 2nd Bundesliga directly once again. They have been too bad so far therefore I wouldn't be much sad about that.

I agree that Croatia aren't one of the teams to be underestimated at all. First of all it is true that they haven't been much successful in Euro tournaments recently. They couldn't even get past 1/8-finals twice in the most recent tournaments. However their performance in the recent two World Cups has been very impressive. First the finale and this time semi finals.

With the player pool they have it isn't impossible for them to have a good success in a Euro tournament also finally. There are really skilled Croatian players now and my expectation level from them has increased by their nice work in the latest World Cup.

They just need to break a leg finally by Euro 2024. They have the potential to play for the finale.

Adrien Rabiot's name is called with Manchester United once again in the recent times. His current contract is about to expire by the end of June so there is a big opportunity for the Red Devils to finish the deal by no transfer fee. It is up to whether Rabiot would like to join their side also of course. Because if I don't remember wrong he wasn't very willing to join them before also.

Back then Manchester United got really close to finalizing the agreement but it didn't happen. After a while Rabiot must have made a statement like he was contented with not joining them because of their poor performance.

But this season has been really well for the Red Devils so maybe they can be more convincing this time. Rabiot is a skilled midfielder he can really be useful.

Maybe it is going to be a little classic but you really can't do anything with even the strongest team in Europe unless you have the right coach for you. Maybe it is debatable that PSG have the strongest squad but they have one of the bests now certainly. But they still can't even be competitive for the Champions League title. I found their performance against Bayern Munich quite weak in general just as many people thought the same.

I don't want to say it like it is all Galtier's fault but he has a big contribution in this in my opinion. Even at the beginning I was having my doubts about his management. Because I think it is totally normal to doubt a person who has never experienced something with one of top teams in Europe coming to manage such team for the first time.

Today was an amazing day for Liverpool. They played away against Leicester which were on the brink of relegating from the league. This made me doubt a little about the probable result but I still had faith in Liverpool. Liverpool really dominated the whole match and got that deserved 3-0 win. This was another crucial win for the Reds on the road going to top 4 but their job won't be easy anyway.

Curtis Jones shined in this match by scoring 2 goals. He hasn't played in most of the matches actually but there was still a big contribution by him here. Salah was of course the star of the night with 3 assists.    This is just the time he needs to contribute with all he has got to carry Liverpool to the Champions League.

Even though Sevilla showed a really solid performance in Turin I still don't want to be fully prejudiced about them in the second leg. Actually I mean they might not finish the job in regular time maybe. It depends on how tight Juventus will be able to defend them though. Manchester United couldn't do this in the second leg because they were lacking two of their very important defenders.

But if Juventus make us watch a good defending despite being under pressure then things can get more interesting. Sevilla might not get a comfortable win in that case. Therefore I'm not thinking of betting on Sevilla in a parlay that I create with safe choices at least. But for a surprise one I might still add their win to give it a shot.

Truthfully there was no way Bayern Munich were losing points against Schalke in Allianz Arena. Yes I know that Schalke were trying to stay in the Bundesliga but come on.    Bayern Munich have only the Bundesliga title left as their goal now. Therefore I didn't expect them to make any mistake in this match. They really demolished their opponent by 6-0 also.

My opinion wouldn't have changed if this match was an away one for Bayern Munich. They have only one place to focus on now so Dortmund's chances of winning the title are getting lower every week. But Dortmund haven't still lost their hope and we can see this easily from their final result against Gladbach in Signal Iduna Park - a 5-2 win.

But still this will be Dortmund's own fault if they fail. Because they couldn't make use of being in the lead for more than one time.

Manchester United have a backup plan for their goalkeeper position as it seems. If De Gea doesn't extend his contract then they are planning to make a move for Pickford. Actually De Gea is said to be ready to sign a contract extension soon. He is reported to be happy here and Manchester United must also be contented with his effort now. Because he is still continuing to make critical saves for his team to prevent worse results.

Pickford has signed a new contract with Everton recently and this makes me doubt about his leaving the team so soon after it. But if Everton relegate from the Premier League then maybe Pickford can still think of leaving the team seriously.

In that case I think Tottenham might also intervene because there have been rumours like Lloris will leave this summer.

I agree that Real Madrid don't care about playing home or away. We have all seen what they did to Liverpool in Anfield this season. They really crushed them by 5-2. However Manchester City are of course no Liverpool now. There has been a big power difference between these teams until now. Therefore playing in Etihad won't be the same for Real Madrid.

Haaland wasn't effective in the first leg indeed. Guardiola must be able to find a way to benefit from his finishing skills and physique at the same time in the second leg. When Haaland is silent Manchester City don't play comfortably in big matches. The first leg was an example of it. But with his contribution with goals or assists they can do some really good work next time.

Gonçalo Ramos looks like a target for Manchester United now. To be more precise, he is among the candidates in their transfer list. He is surely a promising striker right now. Despite his very young age (21) he has been doing an incredible job with Benfica during this season. 25 goals, 11 assists in 44 matches is such a great statistics for him. We don't see so many players being this much capable as a striker at these ages.

His market value is also only 40 million euros now. However as far as I know he has a release clause also which is worth 120 million euros. It is quite a huge sum surely. I don't think Benfica would let him go below his release clause fee. Therefore I'm curious about what action Manchester United are thinking of taking.

Kane is such an experienced top striker that I assume he would still be their priority. But if Tottenham's demand for a transfer fee becomes too high then maybe Manchester United can lean towards a deal for Ramos.
