1181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm sure altcoins will pump if we hold long on: January 04, 2022, 07:49:49 AM
I was once a holder for three years and most coins I held are dead and forgotten, the advice that we are supposed to share is know the coins you plan to hold for years, do not hold weak coins and the best time to build portfolio for long term is in bear market, bear market will reveal which coin is strong and which one is weak

This is often the problem with most of us who hold for a long time. The coins get into profit and we still expect it to increase more only to loose our profit because most of them get to loose value later. It is heartbreaking when such happens. Most times those who get lucky in holding a coin are those who do not intend to even hold it. Maybe they forget they have the coins until they begin to rise in price. I have coins like that am holding now and am not excited about them. You mentioned that the best time to buy is when the market is in bear season. The thing is that bear season also scare alot of people from buying as many will reason that the coin is being dumped and abandoned.
1182  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can Man Lives without Sex? on: January 03, 2022, 09:01:45 PM
Sex is the intercourse between man and a woman which meant to reproduce likeness.

There is something called oral sex and it does not lead to reproduction. Maybe you will be more specific and define it as penetrative sex. How about that  Cool

Also "men" have figured out long time ago how to take matters into their own hands when sex is not available.

It is indeed taking matters into their own hands. But not everyone sees masturbation as a way out.
1183  Other / Politics & Society / Re: God smiles when Americans die, 2(now 3) more U.S. mass shootings on: January 03, 2022, 07:46:07 PM
Evil spreads like a wildfire.  And this a certainly an evil world.

You are right, the way wickedness and evil spread now is alarming. It means the children of Satan are getting more population than the children of God. The Bible talks of it as what will come upon the earth at the end of time and that is what explains this level of evil we have in today's world. It will not slow down anytime.
1184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any easier way to get coins and tokens on their day one launch? on: January 02, 2022, 07:09:50 PM
They have their initial sale.

If you have no way of getting into that initial sale then you just have to be quick and ready your money on that exchange where it's going to be listed and, be one of those people to be the first purchaser of that token.

The op is asking for links of sites that will enable him gain access to tokens as early investor. It means that he knows there are initial and early sales before tokens are opened to the public. If you have any link, kindly let him have it by supplying it here. That is what he is asking for.
1185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Metaverse a bubble? on: January 02, 2022, 05:07:53 PM
When basic technologies such as AR and VR are not yet mature, are all the metaverse projects in the market a bubble?

Can $SAND $MANA still be invested?

Sand and MANA are still good to invest on even though their prices look high now. If a token is good it does not matter how high the price is if you want to invest in it. Another question you raised on Metaverse being a bubble, and I will say no it is not. It is just that it is a new concept and alot of people do not fully understand it yet. With time I know the definition and explanation of it will be easily understood and I believe it will be sooner than later because gaming is involved in it. And alot of people like play2earn games.
1186  Other / Off-topic / New year resolutions on: January 01, 2022, 12:10:22 PM

As it is the custom with many people at the end of every year going into a new one we draw up tables, either on papers or in our minds of what we will not be doing or that which we will do that we did not do in the previous year. I have heard of those who said they will not smoke, or keep malice or womanize or fight in the next year. Most times they do not keep to it. They fail terribly at it. My resolution this year is to allocate more time to things that get me closer to God. Be more committed to religious activities and the less privileged in the society.

What is your resolution for 2022?
1187  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why have my posts and topics been missed? on: January 01, 2022, 11:46:42 AM
Ok thank you man, I also didn't know this either. So it makes sense

You did not know that making constructive posts is valued and demanded here? It means you should do more reading before posting so you do not get yourself into fresh troubles. Do take out time to research this forum and read up rules and regulations guarding this place. There is a bad one called plagiarism. Read it up and know how to avoid it.
1188  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Create and earn on: January 01, 2022, 11:35:05 AM
I got it all wrong. I just feel like deleting the post. Now, I understand it is about passing the written message or information to what others will take note of

Do not feel bad about sharing your thought. There is nothing wrong in posting a different opinion from the crowd. To some extent I agree with you. Apart from that EZOO10 post that has gotten alot of merits and that is because of what happened and how he returned bitcoin that was wrongly transferred to him, most posts receiving lots of merits are those starting threads. I can say it is because posts starting threads are very easy to see than regular reply comments

But keep in mind that being helpful while you are still here should be more important than plotting of ranking up.
1189  Other / Politics & Society / Re: In preparation for the New year (2022) on: December 31, 2021, 02:02:39 PM
my advice. never make a single plan that require 0% failure to get to goal.
expect failure.

Thank you very much for that point. Alot of business people do not like to think they should suffer loss in whatever dimension. They want it all good with every investment they go into and then forget that there is nothing perfect in business.
1190  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Gratitude should be an attitude on: December 31, 2021, 09:56:55 AM
This will be my new live in 2022.... Thankful for everything and everyone.

New year resolutions are cheap to make but to keep them is where lies the problem. I have often had this same problem of not sticking to mine and I hope it stops this last one. Moreso, am very grateful to God for sparing me to see the end of this year and I hope to see more years in good health. Happy new year to everyone here.
1191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should i buy? on: December 28, 2021, 04:00:23 PM
Metaverse tokens. Why? these tokens were dropping so hard last days and it's starting to recover again. If you have bought at the dip and you can make more than 50% profit instantly from there.

It is good to acquire cryptocurrencies that are on Metaverse as that is the trend now. Who knows it can stay a long time before that trend dies off and investors begin to search other places. But your 50% profit projection is what am not sure of. This is cryptocurrency and no one can be sure of what the outcome of any investments will be. If you want to can search cryptocurrencies to buy from trending projects online or you check coinmarket websites.
1192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the meme coin still worth holding on: December 28, 2021, 01:48:30 PM

The low price which memecoins have make people rush to buy them. If you are able to get any of the coins early when price is still very low with as much as 7 zeros before a number you are likely going to be in profit once it gets any attention. This must be the main reason people buy them. It will become less profitable to hold meme coins any time people start losing their investments on them. But for now it looks like alot of people are making money from it. If we look at it from that angle you will agree that it is still worth holding memecoins.
1193  Other / Politics & Society / Re: I will never buy a Tesla car on: December 28, 2021, 08:40:44 AM

If there is a vote on this, op will fail to gather support on those boycotting Elon Musk Tesla. If OP is hating on Elon because of bitcoin when it dumped and he feels Elon is the major cause of it, what he should be doing is to start monitoring Elon closely to see when he is going to take another action that will cause bitcoin to crash. That is the best he can do and not call for a boycott that will fail flat. If Tesla is not expensive I will like to have one. For what I know, Elon has helped mankind alot and his support for bitcoin and cryptocurrencies is there for all to see. Any hate against him should be personal and not mass.
1194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Pi Coins on: December 27, 2021, 03:51:39 PM

Pi is eventually going to be marked as the deceit of 2021. Alot of people think that a shit token they are mining on an android phone will eventually amount to something and that is going to be the shock of their life after wasting time on it for several months. Do people mine genuine cryptocurrency on phones nowadays? I doubt it.
1195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple makes a $1 price bull set for 2022 on: December 26, 2021, 07:39:37 PM
As the entire market is in the recovery mode but a slow stage, Ripple one of the most active coins in the last couple of weeks back has made it to All-time high of $1, coin telegraph made the revelation on the news platform this afternoon.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-price-flatlines-as-xrp-hits-1-with-massive-altcoin-move-set-for-2022
$1 is well below XRP's all-time high point, to be honest. Firstly, the price reached $1.84 in April 2021, and as for the ATH,  it was $3.40 in January 2018. This is something that can be easily verified (see here, for example), so I'm not sure why you wrote it.

You are right kryptqnick. The ATH of XRP was what you said it was and the year also. It is sad that price has continued to stay below $3 which it broke in 2018. It is going to be a huge task for XRP the way i see it to break that level even in 2022 as the gap is wide and XRP maximum supply is surplus. It will take alot of buys to make price shake.

1197  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Blackmail on: December 25, 2021, 05:32:29 PM
I'm curious: OP's username looks like they're just using Bitcointalk for spam. Or they're dumb enough to get more spam on their real email address.

I believe it is both, and in addition to that the OP is trolling for attention with that spam post. I do not know why someone had to merit his post.
1198  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Sexual Harassment at SpaceX on: December 25, 2021, 03:56:28 PM
Giving the sheer amount of incels that fanboy Musk, it's not surprising this occurs within his corporation.

Are you already finding Elon Musk guilty even before the matter has gone to court based on prejudice? That will not be a right way to go on a matter like this that has someone's image at stake. Do not rubbish a man because you do not like him. Musk may not have any idea of what is going on in his company concerning that.

Not saying she is lying, just that the article reads like a novel. Tarnishing Musk and alluding to a toxic workplace environment, isn't that typical of the usual disgruntled employee that no longer holds their position and left in a rather bitter manner?

It smells like someone is out on a mission to destroy the integrity of Elon Musk. She should do more than what she is doing with her information and file a suit if she is sure of her claims. I read the part where she even complained certain male colleagues hugged her and I do not know when hugging becomes counted as a sexual harassment.

1200  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: No free money or crytocurrency on: December 24, 2021, 03:45:23 PM
Bitcoin giveaways, investment with unrealistic returns and anything it is too good to be true is nothing but a scam.

I bet there are people who still think there is a thing as a giveaway for bitcoin. It is time people start thinking that there is no Santa Claus in business. We only find them in charitable organisations and that is because that is where they are planted to be. No where else do we find them except during Christmas. Believing in free money in cryptocurrency is an easy mean for anyone to allow themselves to get scammed.
