1181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is it , it's the end of cryptos on: March 30, 2020, 05:47:38 PM
When we are facing the crisis and this rules will always become the main thing if food is much more important than money (fiat), fiat money is much more important than crypto as it's to avoid the volatility. This is not the end of crypto as crypto will exist forever but that doesn't mean the value will be so stable at this moment. Even my local fiat currency was getting a huge decrease caused by this virus.

I can not agree with you completely. By far, the most important thing is food and medicine.
However, without money you can’t get this food. Therefore, cash is especially valuable now.

After all, with its help you can buy valuable things not only in stores but also from your neighbors.

You mentioned it right, food and medicine are those basic  needs of everyone especially from this virus that keeps pulling the entire economy down.
Without certainty, more people will be staying away from any investment business as they will prioritized the needs that they have to accommodate both for themselves and for the families that they have.
Crypto is not ending as there's still reserve money around but if this pandemic virus will extend it's stay chances that those assets will be liquidate
and be use for funding their needs.

A little update just now.

The 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games is now set on July 23 to August 8 in the year 2021. Although the games will be held in the year 2021, it will still be called Tokyo Olympics 2020.

Let us all pray that this pandemic that we are facing right now will be gone very soon so that the athletes especially those who are infected will resume their training and preparation for the 2020 Olympics.

Oh well, we don't know yet if this pandemic virus will be cured from that period. Since as of now the spread still reaching more countries and affecting more people without real solutions. Those who recovered from this disease are people who've got stronger immune system and no real  medicine that's been discovered yet, but hopefully after a year we'll be able to see progress..
1183  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin was $3,871 on this day - 1 year ago on: March 30, 2020, 04:12:54 PM
It was a great opportunity to buy more bitcoins, at which point many people panicked and sold their bitcoins.
A friend of mine bought bitcoins at this point, a while later the price of bitcoin increased and he made a large sum.
That's what we called timing, if you manage to buy while the value is falling and eventually the price went back and bounce up, you'll be gaining decent and your position will be at the positive side. Though it's hard to master the process since the nature of bitcoin is volatile there's no assurance if you'll be able to keep getting the right track. There are many information which we need to recognized once you are working with this kind of industry.
1184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you doing now? on: March 29, 2020, 05:19:14 PM
How do you survive in the current market situation?
If the bounty project is no longer profitable, what do you do now?

The current market condition is not friendly at all and it is affecting trading too but nevertheless I do trade daily. On the side of bounties, you are right, most aren't profitable while there are others that are worth the time but are very few. So about what am doing in essence, first am trading, doing bounties, reading more books as well as learning other things too, so as to keep myself busy. Also, at the right time I would be going for some coins I have studied overtime.
Take your time learning those projects that you are eyeing to invest your money, having good outlook and deeper understanding to where the project
is heading would gives you  a better position to place your investment.
It's tough to be careless for no, knowing ho volatile this industry and how hard to follow the right assets but using your time and keep yourself busy
studying the flow.
1185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why I sold my 0.67 BTC!! on: March 29, 2020, 04:56:15 PM
For now you should be taking everything in order to make sure that you'll be able to survive this virus, staying at home and assure you and your family have reserves and enough foods to eat while staying together. Think about investment after this, you always have that opportunities doing the right thing in surviving, your life is far important than anything so it's good to choose it for now.
1186  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin fall on: March 28, 2020, 08:26:40 PM
We all gonna die if we just relax and never do anything to stop the spread
Big correction on this statement. We can only stop this spread if we do nothing. Cheesy

This means if we practice self-isolation then there is no way for this corona to spread from one to another meanwhile the affected patients can be cured with the medicines we have that is wh everyone saying social distancing is important now.
The point of moving away from each other as the potential that each and everyone can be a possible carrier of this virus not because you are healthy means that you are not going to be infected, better to stay inside your home and work with your knowledge in regards to how to anticipate the next market movements. While Corona still dominating its a good time to learn where to place your investment.
1187  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin was never meant to be a hedge against a Global Pandemic on: March 28, 2020, 07:56:06 PM
Bitcoin will continue on its way toward what it is meant to achieve.

That is totally correct! We have struggled a lot and continue to do so to make Bitcoin accepted by more people around the world. The Coronavirus issue is a delicate one and once science finds the cure for the virus we will return to normal and restore the economy that Covid19 will undoubtedly affect.
The influenced of Corona makes more people to drive away from this industry, seeing that the market is falling while this pandemic virus is pulling the economy of each countries that being penetrated.
Though the chance of having those investors to go back and bring decent amount of investment are still possible once the cure for this virus is already being found. For now everything is still depends from how traders and investors will keep the Barrier.
1188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympics 2020 Discussion Thread on: March 27, 2020, 04:30:47 PM
I can imagine the athletes will be very disappointed after training so hard to be ready for this time. They will just have to do it all over again for next summer.
If I am one of the player, instead of being disappointed I will just consider myself lucky because I can train myself more to master the game that I will play. I'll just think that I am not yet fit to go on the game because maybe I am missing something on my health. Better to check if I am infected or not. Sometimes, postponement is meant for a more good thing.
More time to use in enhancing your skills, that's a good observation. We don't know if how long this pandemic virus will continue and as of this moment there's no proven cure to stop the spread. It's best decision to postponed everything since the virus can multiple or be transfer in a short period of time
the association's decision is for the compassion of humanity there's no wrong doing it.
1189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are you doing now? on: March 27, 2020, 03:26:18 PM
Everyone are basically gambling with their lives currently which is far more intense when compared to gambling with money thanks to the Coronavirus. Majority of the gamblers including me have completely abandoned gambling with money due to this horrible situation.

The ones who are gambling with money right now are probably rich or are simply addicted to gambling or are playing for fun only. This is the reality for gamblers these days.
Both addicted gamblers and those who can afford and wanted to kill some boring time are capable to still play. Though numbers of players/gamblers who are dealing with this activities are now lessen since they are mostly conserving their money to use in much important matters than playing or using their money to play their favorite gambling games.
Those who are in sports betting mostly are not able to play and that's the part where I'm interest, betting with NBA.

1191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I earn money during coronavirus? Is it possible by crypto coins? on: March 27, 2020, 02:46:25 PM
Coronavirus has paralyzed the wheels of the world economy, and this phenomenon increasingly makes our space more narrow. We have in mind now is how to make money in the middle of the lockdown set by the government, Bounty and airdrop is not a good solution to get money in a short time, we should trade in the short term, and choose some coins that have good potential, so as not to get caught in the red hole.

It's tough to choose as there's possibilities that you'll be caught in the middle once the movements of your chosen project will not favor your side, there's a lots of opportunities but it needs to have good knowledge regarding to how to work with those projects that still moving forward and still providing even small profits. Don't waste your time trying to have a quick gain as the risk is also high but instead use your time adding more knowledge regarding to the market that you are going to work with your investment.
1192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull run top 5 Alts for 2020. on: March 27, 2020, 02:29:59 PM
Are you from 2018 ripple and neo are dead!
I think the two projects are not dead, it's just that there might be less interest. If you die both of them will not be in the top 50 coinmarketcap positions, at least he chooses the right altcoin to be used as an investment or believes if the project mentioned will continue to grow and experience a bullrun someday.
Yes, those projects are still existing and still showing their positions inside cmc. Though the chance for those projects are not giving good stats but
the projects are still moving. If you are into investment you need to consider every aspects and every influenced that the coins have  out from this
market.
Bull still not that strong but the market still working and trying to hold from it's barrier, needs to assess before moving forward.
1193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Age restriction in gambling on: March 26, 2020, 09:15:42 PM
I think it is right to ban all games (intended as games of chance, bets) to minors (the age varies according to individual countries) but only because it can cause them addiction which is then difficult to control / cure...
Possibilities to be engaged as this stage will comes out with heavy addictions, gamblers who  begins very young most of the time are
having difficulty of controlling their addictions. They are engaged that deep and hard for to them to cope up.
Best to practice from each government rules to avoid minors to play ahead.
1194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: High rewards still possible in bounties? on: March 26, 2020, 08:23:49 PM
Is high rewards like 350,000$ for bounty hunters still possible this days? I know it's all down to the success of the project but is this still achievable? How many successful projects with such reward paid hunters since 2018 that you know?
Hmmm there is the possibility though they are scarce these days, but I’d say the most important thing is to be looking out for bounties that are being run by scammers, so that you work hard for a long time and end up not getting paid. That is most frustrating part of this job and not even low paying bounties.

So, you should be taking your time and looking out for good bounties that are not scam who will pay you your money once the project is over. And as well you should avoid working for pennies, so having a bounty that is paying well is good. My comment wasn’t to discourage you from doing, but just to point out that there are scams as well and these fake projects usually post high rewards to deceive hunters.
Most of the time it's just an encouragements from those scam developers who knows how to play with bounty hunters. Knowing that good offers receives high amounts of participants. It's should be carefully studied before doing or joining projects. There are still good ones outside this service if you will make
deeper research the chance to have   or to follow the right project and earn from it is much higher.
Do your own research and follow your understanding don't look for high rewards but instead look for long term projects with good developers behind.
1195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I earn money during coronavirus? Is it possible by crypto coins? on: March 26, 2020, 07:58:44 PM
There are plenty of home-based work. You could freelance and there's plenty of freelancing platforms that you can register at and start working. You also have those freelancing sites that offers pays in crypto, and you got that if you want to stay earning using cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. I am not sure if there's gonna be a blast of demand in freelancing platforms, but just looking at the status of lockdown in my country, it seems gonna be likely and same to other countries.
If you have the right skills to offers then it not hard to earn the online industries are very big it's just a matter of right  skills to provide
platforms and websites are all available online just find what's fit to your knowledge.
There are lots of offers just go deeper and look for legit places to offer your service.
1196  Economy / Speculation / Re: COVID-19 Increased Bitcoin Adoption on: March 26, 2020, 07:17:03 PM
Recent crises are testing the abilities of Bitcoin. The adoption of Bitcoin is increased as people are stuck at home they are looking for better solutions to transfer remittance and for purchasing.
Many countries are using blockchain technology to fight against the pandemic.
Why the price of Bitcoin is still down?
With the corona virus outbreak that continues to spread to almost every country, and it causes an extraordinary panic to various aspects of life in the world today.
Maybe the direct influence on cryptocurrency trading is nothing huge  in my opinion Because, the in recent days there have been an increase in the price of bitcoin after previously experiencing a price decline in the market, and indeed previously the price of bitcoin continued to decline due to many investors who panicked about the corona virus, but slowly began to be seen if investors began re-buying bitcoin, causing the price of bitcoin to start increasing again in some exchanges today.
For now, the difficulty of choosing between life and investment are taking into everyone's mindset. It's tough with anyone to use their reserve money
inside assets than holding it for personal securities.
Adoption wise, competitions with other form of digital money are also increasing, bitcoin with its volatile nature is having a hard time bringing more
users after this corona spread.
1197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Old crypto ways fades away easily on: March 26, 2020, 06:49:09 PM
Both lists are actually the same thing for old and even new projects/tokens/coins who are trying to prove themselves in cryptoworld. Well, if a project needs a quick hype of course, they will use their collected funds to get listed in bigger exchanges just like what you have listed but if the team is wise enough they should allocate it to greater things such as developments on their project in that way, they can launch it sooner and for sure, holders will be the one who will benefit the most
If the team behind is aiming for better outcome surely they will continue to use the money that they've collected mostly for the innovations of their project and not alone to hype their token.
Things are different nowadays as there are lots of competitions and chances of surviving for newer projects without clear path within this business is too slim unlike before that every new project are being eyed by investors.
1198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Covid-19 Question on: March 24, 2020, 07:30:09 PM
Crypto is still being affected by the outbreak because of people who are dumping and this has caused a massive panic, selling and fear.
But in literal talk, there is no interconnection of crypto and any outbreak but the people who are in crypto were affected and did the said actions.
People needs to hold real cash and with fears of this pandemic virus investors are likely cashing out their assets not just inside crypto but
together with other forms of investing. The panic is for real so even there's no direct connections literally speaking if there's no money inside
the market surely the value will keep on falling a part.
1199  Economy / Economics / Re: India - Complete Country Lockdown - Is it on the Verge of Economic Crisis ? on: March 24, 2020, 06:52:00 PM
Tough decision for the leader but it's for the best interest of the whole nation. The Corona virus is really harming everyone and if this virus already inside the country the only thing to prevent a much bigger damage is to implement total lockdown.
It will bring economic problem but it's the only solution where there's no cure yet to this pandemic virus, The people around should follow this call in order
to save more lives.
1200  Economy / Economics / Re: Corona has killed economy of many businesses on: March 24, 2020, 05:42:49 PM
How long will it last? What's the antidote for Corona?

There are three teams I've known that are working so far they are from Germany, Australia and China they claimed to have the vaccine but clinical testing will take 12 to 18 months, now this is such a very long wait, countries wants cures the soonest because infected are increasing, I hope the scientist can fast tract the cure to at least five months.
With how the outcome from Wuhan china it's very much possible that the Chinese government have the advancement in providing antidote for this virus
though  you are correct it will take some time before it will be proven to be effective.
Clinically base it should have a much quicker results from this 3 countries that have the possible cure or treatment to this spreading virus.
