its strange your image shows nh109 51mhash but on your panel virosa.ethosdistro.com you can see nh109 last reported hashrate as 37mhash. No shit. Once we stop doing our magic, it defaults back to stock. The rig is also down so. =P wow man, that's a huge progress! Maybe you can create a thread to who are instersting for this tool/mod... for a price. There are many miners with 1070/1080ti rigs that could pay a nice price for a tool, and many many many miners (like me) that could pay a fair price for a working biosmod.

For some memories there is good straps to start.
Your 2000MHz strap is close to Ubermix 3.1 (just 2 digts are different). I couldn't improve it, it's so tight.
I've read a tip for XMR mining to try lowering ACTWR and TRFC but it didn't have any sucess (lowering tRFC for Elpida gave me just 2H/s more in my straps).
This thread can concentrate useful information. Great idea.
Just a question: Your 2200MHz strap is for Samsung K4G8? I always find Ubermix as best strap, but my 580 8GB Samsung memory give me erros at 2030+ (its terrible). I could try your strap to fix this.

Is the zFastminer free to use withou other pools that's not the MPH?

Mining for around 2 hours with 1.4.0 and have only noticed that the electricity consumption is moving +- 35-40w constantly. With the previous version 1.3.2 it did not fluctuate so much, it was only 5.
it does, when mining with heavy algo. Hashing speed also can vary 10-100hs! Agree. Here I can see this fluctuation. Fron 1070H/s to 1150H/s.

anyone try to mine on this gpus? i try claymore miners on vega11 but all of them(dual, zec, cryptonight) show message - cannot build OpenCl program for gpu0
after start xmr stak system goes to bsod
I saw some guys running with xmr-stak, you can research But the hashrate is quite low, probably because memory latency/bandwith bottleneck.

My ryzen 1600 (6 cores, 16M cache, 8 mining threads, 3.2GHz, direct hardware (no VM)) peaks at 507, your performance sounds consistent, but i don't know how negative is the use of a VM. Good news : I've setup an antique Athlon64 on Windows 7 x64 and I can reproduce the K8-K10 bug. Fixing, should be done in a few hours. It invalidates version 0.17 to 0.19, switch to 0.20 once possible. Then i update the documentation and remove the zip from github. Sorry men for the bug What are your memory clock? Ryzen likes memory at 2800+ and lowering the main timings (for 15-15-15-36 1T as example)

Someone is having problems with XMR-STAK + Stellite?
I did modify in pools.txt, changed concurrency to "monero7" and pool/wallet. But I'm getting my IP banned from all pools bacause invalid shares. I'm forgetting something? The XMR Stak version is the last one posted here.
Mining with just SRBMiner is working like a charm.
change currency value to stellite in pools.txt Thank you! The original pools.txt doesnt have stellite in concurrency options. Nice tip!

Tighten rfc, *wr just a bit, push core to 1200-1266, leave mclk same as ethash( mine are mostly 2150+ ), set voltage ~900mV and start hashing. This gives ~1kH at just 640W @wall for 6x RX580 mixed.
laik, try SRBMiner with "trial and error" tests to find the best intensity. I'm reaching 1000H/s in RX570 Elpida (CryptonightV7) with no-so tweaked timings. Are your 580 4 or 8GB variants? I'll try your tips. Thank your for your support!

Okay, so in comparison with xmrig's speed 3,5kh, with this SBRMiner my RX580s are hashing 820h/s on cryptonight heavy!!! Incredible performance! I am currently with intensity 32, because if I get the intensity higher, I have noticed that after some time some cards start hashing around 550h/s(dropping by 300h) . Running stable with 4150h/s on my 5 cards @ 550W from the wall. Great work man, hands down!
4gb or 8gb? I read 8gb go over 1k on CN-Heavy. It may give such hash, but my cards are modded for the ethash algo and as far as I read, the timings for cryptonight should be a bit different. I am now looking for a guide or a site from which I will be able to get my hands on such a BIOS mod and I will try then Otherwise still pretty amazing performance, cannot deny that! P.S - Cards are 8GB Sapphire Nitro+ Special Editions. Which memory type? Yup, cryptonight works better with different timing straps than ETH. For 8gb cards you should try the same intensities that you've used on cryptonight. Also a generic tip. If you are not actively monitoring GPU parameters close apps like HWInfo64, gpu-z or afterburner or change the polling rate to 3sec,5sec. I'm using the "over and over" utilized Ubermix 3.1, intensity 57 + 2 threads and i'm getting 1100~1150h/s in my Asus RX580 8GB (Samsung memory) at 1280/2010. Try pushing intensity to the limit and then reduce to find the perfect sweet spot. Remember: Cryptonight-heavy is a really different algorithm comparing to Cryptonight V7. The same board I can reach 1100H/s+ in Heavy can do only 1053H/s in V7 (with the best intensity for both). Unafortunately I don't have specific timings to cryptonight, so I'm using the same I did to Ethash. For Cryptonight V7 the great surprise was RX570 4GB Elpida, getting 1000H/s at 1230/2030. It's quite impressive for me.

anyone mining Sumokoin ?
Ya. With SRBMiner. RX580 8GB is overkill

While I can understand that you don't want trouble supporting weird mod of cards, Branko and the other guy trying to test GGS just reported a legit bug in the software: if you select OPTIMIZE & select Criptonightv7 you get a thread exeption: the given key isn't present in the dictionary.
And because I'm writing on bugs: Fan: minimum is supposed to be 0 % and not 20 % Fan2: if you modify it and click on copy to the same cards, ggs crash and restart
Custom pool: can't be selected for CNv7
Missing algos: CN7lite
Is memory strap optimization done dynamically, or handpicking from already premade straps? Relevant question about straps, Branko. I think it tests the timings one by one, according the all-failed tests.

2% fee is reasonable. While it could be the most profitable choice to AMD videocards, 2% of many many many miners will be better than 25% of a few miners.

I just need to write the following in the bold print somewhere...
1. GGS does not support Blockchain drivers. 2. GGS does not support modded BIOS'es.
I just don't have time to support discontinued drivers or hardware that is way out of specifications as GGS itself does some pretty wild stuff under the hood. Hope you understand.
1- So do you recommend the lastest Adrenalin drivers in compute mode, okay? 2- Of course, 'cause you can't guarantee the stability of a modded strap. But, the Optimize button fails at all if a modded bios is used?

I'm sure it could be done if you could track down a SHA-256 miner program from when btc was minable with GPUs--but the problem is that the network difficulty is so high and there is so much hash (from ASICs, which deprecated GPUs) that your cards would probably make less than the electricity to run them.
What most would recommend is mine ethash coins/monero7 etc with your AMDs then trade for BTC. Good luck.
Ya, Cryptonight7 and Cryptonight-Heavy bring back GPU to the game. I really would like to see Bitmain ASICs become paperweight.

I don't think so. CPUminer-opt doesn't supports huge pages, and main focus are other algos. We have some good CN miners, but much less, for example, Yescrypt miners, Lyra2z miners, etc. This miner supports and optimizes CPU mining for it.
|
|
|
Do you have Awesome Miner? For me the commands sintaxe are pretty close to CPUminer-opt, except by the "-a cryptonight". Can it be ignored? If yes, has it a API port to monitor hashrate?
I have issues to use XMR Stak with multialgos strategy in Awesome Miner, and XMRig is slower than it. You can bring the best of two worlds. Take a look at Awesome. It can provide many users for you.

No luck for me with this miner, back to command line
(continuing where miner last time stopped/crashed is bug, not a feature, when it hangs on "optimize" button)
Same here. All tests failed. I'll try with just one GPU to see if works. It's a tool with huge potential.

@OhGodAGirl ... OhGodAFork ... update the sgminer, please . Wrong thread. Also, they are working on it already. Also, i will be putting up for sale an Elpida strap for Cryptonight. 1070h/s on a RX 580 at 1380/1950. Maybe a bit more of tweaking and testing before that. Don't become the next Matttev or whatever he's naming himself...I see a lot of potential in you, don't disappoint me with selling timings for peanuts. Well, if you put up a lot of time in something, and you are good in it... There is no reason not to do it. Plus, its not like i am swimming in money Dude, you're better than that. Make sure you sell for peanuts AND a bag of crisps. Well that makes about 10$, right? Maybe I need to buy it also, I tried to create my own custom straps with catastrophic results. Hey, as long as you didn't had to scrape off plastic from the computer case, its all fine and dandy! Anyway, just to kick in for people who don't know: the Cryptonight v6 straps work 99.9% the same way on v7. Maybe 1-2h/s. Ya. For Cryptonight-heavy the optimisations are more focused in intensity/double threads. The timings can be the same for V7 (maybe with little optimisations because double-size threads).
