Do you like shitty UI's, boys and girls?

Wattman? Its not THAT bad

Edit: nm, I see it now...I'm GUI person since I saw first Amiga

However, I'm also ATI person, only had 1 nvidia last 20+ years

Was that supposed to scare me, frighten me or excite me?
I already did modify GTX bios its pretty plug and play soltution, just can't find time to unbox my old SPI flashing tools and start playing around.

Haha, we can all start showing off shit too, "look who has the biggest one".

Is it worth it?

Nah..

I use to post screenshots to show how big mine was too though.. Realized quickly that i didn't need all the attention and that it was a waste of time Wink

Btw, the better ones (screenshots), are those of the showoffs begging for info in PM's.. those are the good ones, and boy do i have plenty of those  Grin

Oh! Flashrom tool works just fine (threw it on my github with P106 rom a seriously long time ago), a raspberry pie and a pomona clip is all you need....

Cheerio! Have fun getting your GTX 1080 TI up to 64Mh (edit: and higher..)  Wink

Yes, my data structures are the biggest. It's definitely worth showing off those nasty, unsanitized fields and those dirty, dirty timing blobs.

Not sure why you guys are using flashrom instead of just buying a little SPI programmer...I suppose flashrom is a cleaner interface, but the SPI is more portable/versatile, and cheaper (Rasperry Pi's are around 25 USD, right?).

Why just not masq the rom as mining and get nvidia sign it for us Cheesy

P.S: Just a gentle push to p106-100 micron, not much to gain of it but still worth it. ( GPU9 modded only )

Anyone has idea why 280X with its huge memory bandwidth has such poor ethash performance?

Try mining with a small dag (i.e. Ubiq, Expanse).  Part of the issue is the memory controller isn't as efficient as GCN3 and later, but most of the issue is the large DAG size combined with 4K pages causing TLB misses.
I haven't tried it, but the 2M page support should work with Linux kernel 4.15, which would make a big difference mining ETH.

See the difference?

TRFC and RAS2RAS are left like that, since you use the same strap for Ethash. Otherwise, you increase them by 50% for Cryptonight.

I already gave you critic, now i even give you an example of how it would better in terms of stability/speed.

Hi,

I tried to use the timings you posted on my Nitro 380x 4GB Elpida but it crashes in windows. If you have some time to spare maybe you could help me figure out what could be the cause and which timings to try to loosen to see if that helps?
You can also find my original 1500 timings below. I'm using this card to mine cryptonight.

Many thanks for your time!

@OhGodAGirl ... OhGodAFork  Shocked  ... update the sgminer, please  Wink .

Wrong thread.

Also, they are working on it already.

Also, i will be putting up for sale an Elpida strap for Cryptonight.

1070h/s on a RX 580 at 1380/1950.
Maybe a bit more of tweaking and testing before that.

Well, if you put up a lot of time in something, and you are good in it... There is no reason not to do it. Plus, its not like i am swimming in money Smiley
