121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any advice for a newbie? on: July 10, 2018, 02:06:31 PM
Hi guys,

Newbie here trying to set up a crypto profile. 1 month ago I had heard the name Bitcoin but didn't know what it was other than a digital currency and had not heard of any alt coins so bear with me  Undecided

I don't have a huge amount to invest, thus far i have 0.13 BTC and 2 ETH, 2.6k XRP AND 50 OMG. I want to keep adding to this and keep it for as long as needed, i  am not really interested in trading as i don't understand this space enough to do that.

Any ideas or thoughts? Should i move any of these around? Concentrate on adding to bitcoin? Add to XRP/OMG etc etc???

Also i have a ledger nano s en route to keep my coins.

cheers
I would rather hold that coins , those coins of yours have a potential to be at moon on the future generations, if you don't know how to trade it because you are a newbie in cryptocurrencies then just hodl. My only advice for you is to be open to adopt the change on crypto's technology and don't be afraid to take risks in your decisions. 😊
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: How to Invest TIME & Earn CRYPTO on: July 10, 2018, 11:41:57 AM
There are so many ways to earn or to make money on using cryptocurrencies without investing any funds on it. Only time and efforts will be good enough to make money, you can do bounty campaigns or joining airdrop programs. In these two factors, all you need to is to follow the rules of the management and complete the tasks they are asking for you to be eligible for their airdrop and bounty rewards.  Wink
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are investors got tired of ICOs? on: July 09, 2018, 11:10:58 AM
It seems that investors got tired of ICOs in the last months. Do you believe that ICO hype will come back soon?
I think investors got tired on participating on ICOs because of the rapid growth of scam ICOs, investors are discouraged because they invest their money to ICO projects to have a profits or to make money but the mostly outcome is turning their funds into nothing, that's why some investors are stopped investing for now. o believe that they will back again, once they found out that their are still some ICOs which are legit.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ANY NEW AIRDROPS OR BOUNTIES ? on: July 06, 2018, 11:26:30 AM
If you want to find some new airdrops and bounties, you can found it on the marketplace (altcoins) / bounties category in the bitcointalk forum. Most ICOs are displayed their bounty thread and airdrop thread on the stated category section. But better make sure that the airdrop or bounty you had participated with is legit so that your efforts and time will not be wasted.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC of bounty hunters on: July 04, 2018, 11:11:54 AM
In my own opinion, requiring KYC for bounty hunters in order for them to receive their rewards is not a good practice. Most bounty hunters are teens or maybe non-working people, so where they going to get some valid ids or government ids to verify their KYC. I think it is better for the management team of an ICO or a bounty to require mandatory KYC verification/s for investors only because there are some investors that lives in the restricted area which an ICO not prohibit to buy their tokens.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange it or Hold it on: July 03, 2018, 11:44:22 AM
Knowing that you could get free coins from Airdrops, would you exchange it once you got the coins or hold it until the vslue rises up?
When it seems to increase higher or a little bit then I am going to hold it for a while but if not sell immediately so that , I will avoid the dumping of the price by other airdrop participants that already received their rewards. If that coins has so many big partnerships, then no doubt that it will rise again and can have the potential to have a bull run on crypto markets, that's why I prefer to hold sometimes than dumping it immediately.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins kept in exchange, are they safe? on: July 03, 2018, 11:17:56 AM
There are some traders are being afraid to stock their funds in their exchange accounts for there are so many pishing exchanges sites that being created by hackers. But on my own opinion, it is safe and secure to stock your funds in crypto exchange/s if those exchanges is requiring 2FA code, email confirmation, or even a personal informations every time it is going to have a deposit or withdrawal requests. In this way. hackers can't request transaction if they didn't know the confirmation code.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Twitter campaign : Do i need to be at least Jr member ? on: July 02, 2018, 01:47:53 PM
Most twitter bounty campaigns that i had already saw in this forum and on other bounty sites, there is no rules in twitter campaigns that requires atleast jr. member to join with them because in twitter campaign, the stakes is based on how many followers you have , not on the rank of your account in bitcointalk. Correct me if I'm wrong .
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is ICO period long? on: July 02, 2018, 01:07:53 PM
Most ICOs are long term period , it is simplu because they are planning and organizing their projects / platforms according to their timeline or roadmap so that their ICO period will have a good outcome once it is concluded. But there are some ICOs that go behind or go beyond their ICO period end date,  I think it is because their tokens are sold out before the end date or there are more left unsold tokens in their contract address wallet.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: transfer from myetherwallet to other exchange's on: June 29, 2018, 10:51:31 AM
When doing any transfer from myetherwallet to other exchanges how much will i be charged.
Every time we transfer Ether or tokens from ether wallet to other wallets or exchanges, the transaction fee/s is depending on the gas price and the gwei of your transaction. The higher the gas price, the higher will be the transaction fee.But the higher it is, the faster it can send to other exchange's wallets. The transaction fee/s cannot be exceed .001 ether.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do Bounty Hunters Sell Immediately they receive reward? on: June 29, 2018, 04:42:57 AM
Many ICOs have realized that Bounty hunters always sell their coins immediately they give it out to their wallets especially when they are on exchanges. What are the reasons why they sell it out and what should bounty hunters do when they are given the tokens.
The most common reason why bounty hunters are immediately selling their tokens on crypto exchanges when they already received is they really need money to provide their needs and satisfy their wants. There are other reason why they sell it, they are trying to predict that the market of those ICO tokens are going to dump once it is listed on crypto exchanges.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good bounty manager. on: June 27, 2018, 09:40:38 AM
A good bounty manager can really help the ICO's core team to be successful in their token sales period. If the bounty manager is really updating the bounty participants about the project, then he/she is so encourage to do his/her best to make the bounty campaign good and satisfy the needs of bounty hunters through rewards. But sometimes, bounty manager is part of some scam activities.
133  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ICO investments on: June 24, 2018, 12:10:43 PM
Nowadays ! ICO investments are very risky. Most of them are most promising at first but lately it will turn ed out to be a scammed ICO. So, before investing in ICO projects, it is better to check first it's background and have an updates in their telegram channels. In order for you, not to lose your funds if you invested.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sending in fake ID for KYC on: June 23, 2018, 01:11:39 PM
It is usually happens that some ICO investors and bounty hunters are sending fake IDs for KYC verification. I think it is simple because, they are living in the restricted countries which the ICOs are not requiring to join with their projects or there is the possibility that the bounty hunter/s or the ICO investor/s is under 18 years old that they cannot applied for government/national IDs.
135  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never Be greedy! on: June 22, 2018, 12:42:21 PM
It is important to control your emotion in trading and don't be greedy every time you know that your altcoins are increasing in it's price because most of the time, this pump is only a trap to convince other cryptocurrencies' traders and investors to buy their coins/tokens. If there are much volume of bitcoins are their in their cryptos, there is a chance that they will turned down immediately.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could your Grandma use Crypto? on: June 22, 2018, 12:23:32 PM
Yes ! She can. Everybody can use cryptocurrencies in their transactions and business if applicable. There is no rules in cryptocurrency trading and investments that there are some people which not able to use cryptos. As long as you have enough funds to invest in cryptocurrencies then you can use it and you may start trading it in order to have losses or profits.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why some ico failed on: June 21, 2018, 10:58:50 AM
have being studying some ico this year they are failing , what are the causes of there failure
As we usually see in this forum, in other social media site and even in ICO rating sites, there are lots of ICOs that is not successful in their Token sale period. I think they're usually fails, because they are lacking of investors who can support their platforms with a big investments of funds, poor team management and lack of big partnerships with other companies.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost half of my crypto amount! what to do? on: June 20, 2018, 10:55:39 AM
You must try to recover your losses in trading and investments. You must control your emotions because most of the time, it is the reason why traders are still losing their funds in crypto even they had already lost some. Try to trade again with the altcoins that has the low prices in marketcap and hodl it until it back to it's normal price.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bounty not an investment? on: June 19, 2018, 08:23:15 AM
Bounty is not an investments it is simply because you don't have to invest money on doing bounty campaigns. In bounties, all they need is your effort to participate in their bounty and referral programs in order to earn rewards that can be traded for bitcoins, ethereums, and other cryptocurrencies. ICO issue bounties in order to give the investors a wider view about their project, to have more followers in their social media accounts and to add more people in their community.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to start bounty campaing ? on: June 18, 2018, 01:17:26 PM
i am new in bounty campaing please sugest me how to start ?
How to start bounty campaign? It is so very easy to start it. First, you need to find a good bounty campaign with a high allocated amount of rewards , if you already found a good one, then choose a campaign/s that you want to join and click the form/s for the specific campaign you want to join with. Lastly, work as best as you can and according to the rules of the bounty you had participated.
