The only thing you  need to do is to do your on research and read more about crypto currency, you can join different forums, post on some threads and ask question.  You may check it on coinmarketcap.com and you may look at their profile each. Start first on the top 20 coins listed. This is the best place to start. Then read articles about digital currencies from other sites. The best way for a newbie is to read a lot  Grin

Do what you can to earn free coins on startup projects.  Some coins have very generous airdrops that you can either hold or immediately trade.  In addition watch for contests on Twitter for giveaways (NOT the free ETH giveaways!)

I think its good that you have some bitcoin and some ethereum.  I also agree with the ripple!  Try checking out bitshares and ubcoin market.  They are at a really good price right now and I foresee them going up!

Before investing, you need to get as much information about the cryptocurrency as possible, this will help you both at the beginning and in the future when you start trading or investing.

Take everything you hear about any coin with a pinch of salt, make sure to do research.

From my painful experience I can say to you don't ever be greedy, because most of the times when you are wanting to have just a little bit more you can lose everything you had before, and you can never be contend.

True indeed as a beginner of our capital before trading or investing it we must have knowledge or basic information about cryptocurrency,
because that is definitely information is very important for ourselves and we do not underestimate it

Hi guys,

Newbie here trying to set up a crypto profile. 1 month ago I had heard the name Bitcoin but didn't know what it was other than a digital currency and had not heard of any alt coins so bear with me  Undecided

I don't have a huge amount to invest, thus far i have 0.13 BTC and 2 ETH, 2.6k XRP AND 50 OMG. I want to keep adding to this and keep it for as long as needed, i  am not really interested in trading as i don't understand this space enough to do that.

Any ideas or thoughts? Should i move any of these around? Concentrate on adding to bitcoin? Add to XRP/OMG etc etc???

Also i have a ledger nano s en route to keep my coins.

cheers
Hey. I' ve been in a case like you a year ago. The first thing i advise you to do is trust yourself , because it's just that you can overcome the difficulties now. Next thing you can get money , you should find out about the money market. And find yourself a suitable path like investment and become trader , engage in signatures , bounty hunter. You find the right path

Before investing, read as much as you can. Also you should take into account positive and negative comments.
Never sell altcoins, if the price is less that you have invested. It's better to wait in order not to lose.

If you do not have a good knowledge of crypto, then just select the bitcoin that has been used by many people. Because as far as I can see, bitcoin is the crypto that is currently best in the selling price and its usage rate. But remember, that when bitcoin prices increase, the price of altcoin will go down, and it's like a temptation. Hehe..

I am always saying that, never take a step in Action until you would really be confident in the thing that you are about to do right now. And read as much as you can before investing.

If you are a newbie, come back in 6 months, maybe things have gotten better by then, right now it's not much to cheer for.

A couple of my advice to newcomers who came to the crypto currency. It's to believe in yourself and your strength. Do not rush into decisions and weigh everything well. And the main thing is never to despair in case of failures and losses. Today you lose, but tomorrow you will earn a hundred times more.

You have collected even by today's standards a pretty good wallet. I would add EOS and ADA to it. So far, I do not see other new quite promising coins that are worth paying attention to.

I would rather hold that coins , those coins of yours have a potential to be at moon on the future generations, if you don't know how to trade it because you are a newbie in cryptocurrencies then just hodl. My only advice for you is to be open to adopt the change on crypto's technology and don't be afraid to take risks in your decisions. 😊

Do not invest in the crypto market large sums if you are a beginner with nothing you do not understand. Start with market research. Learn fundamental technical analysis. Start trading small amounts.

I think that you do not need to buy coins yet, better participate in bounty campaigns. So you gain experience.
