I have seen a lot of threads here asking about whether people will invest in a coin or do bounty. Its high time we all understood that, investment is not only about money. To me, any effort put into something to make it a reality can be regarded as investment. People who buy coins invest with their monies whiles those who participate in bounties also invest with their time and energy. Money is a replaceable resource but time can never replaced. To me, bounty hunters are also investors. What do you think?

That's right! Unless you invest money, you invest your time (it is the basic thing for our life). But even for the present time the time is measure with money. If you don't lose your time here, you will lose time in another work for money.

I agree with you. Participating in a bounty means spending time to choose the right project, getting familiar with the rules and memorizing them for a few weeks/months, putting a lot of time and effort to do the bounty tasks well, and knowing what to do with the tokens when you get them.

If anybody says it's not investment they mean you don't spend money on them, not that you're getting them effortlessly.  Smiley

To some extent, the bounty is an investment, but in this case we invest not money but time that could be spent on any other class. For some, the bounty is just a hobby, for others it is the main work. Personally, I think the bounty's a hobby, but I've invested 3 hours of free time a day, which is considered very valuable.

I perfectly agree with your point. Time is a very valuable asset and there is a proverb that even goes like-time is money. To sit by your laptop, think through the concept of whitepaper and summarize it is not an easy task at all. I think it is equally an investment just like investing with your money.

In companies of generosity, you perform work and for this you get tokens profit, it's not investment that's work!

We work for the coins that will be rewarded after series of campaigns in bounty, so its definitely different with an investment. If you invest, money can be involved for that and expectations of profit gains should be in return for the efforts you have which is coming from your current work. In bounty participation, you basically did a serious job also but not earning physical form of money, instead we're going to be rewarded using crypto tokens that can be sold to make sustainable amount of Money.

Bounty invest about time and knowledge. I never say bounty give me free token because I do something before as the rule. Like doing my job in my workplace.

I 100% agree it's not easy to do your daily task every day to accomplish your task, and it's a big disappointment and stressful if the Ico become a scam project or stopped, sometimes investors can get their money back, but bounty hunters are not compensated for their effort once the campaign is stopped.

In my opinion, the people who buy coins by their money are investors. Those who participate in the bonus campaign are not investors, because they spend time to make money as a job.

that's risk for all bounty hunter. bounty hunter needs to know it
both bounty and investor(money) are same an investor. bounty invests in effort and time. investor money invests in their money

Some people regard gifts not as an investment, but rather as a land to dig many coins. Then the coin produced from the bounty is invested either fixed in the coin or exchanged for another coin. However, some others consider bounty as one of the fields to invest, they can invest with bounty in order to get a token from the bounty that is expected to have a better value that will result in more profits.

Yes..You have a point. Effort is considered as part of investment in hunting bounty program. You also invest your time and knowledge in some other aspects of the bounty program.

I think yes, they are, but in the general definition of the word investor, most of people think, that investor, invest his money, not the time, will, and another spiritual things.

Bounty is much better than investment because there's no risk to take, no money to lose, also because in bounty you just need to find and participate to it, then after the end of bounty campaign you can get your reward, unlike in investment there's a time you might get scam or lose all your money you put, but do investment is also good when you encounter a good investment, but therr still risk to take, whether you win or lose.

I agree that investment can be in any form, either capital money or time and energy. But I also understand if there are people who distinguish the two, because maybe some people spend a much harder effort than doing bounty campaign, to get the money to be invested here.

I myself prefer to do bounty campaign because it does not cause any loss except your time, but if I already earn more money than bounty maybe I will try to invest.

Bounty is not an investments it is simply because you don't have to invest money on doing bounty campaigns. In bounties, all they need is your effort to participate in their bounty and referral programs in order to earn rewards that can be traded for bitcoins, ethereums, and other cryptocurrencies. ICO issue bounties in order to give the investors a wider view about their project, to have more followers in their social media accounts and to add more people in their community.

I think that time is the most expensive resource. Our life depends on this. We spend the most valuable things. It's just hard to figure out. Different people have different time values.

From this point of view you are right, but bounty rewards are usually bigger, than your efforts compared to other kind of job. But taling into consideration fact, that not all ICOs raise funds and cut payment, bounty is quite tricky

No, my main choice is investment. I think the return on investment is the highest. The bounty is just a little coin that I gave to me during the discussion in the forum. I personally value investment more.

The possibility of people will distinguish both of them. Because the possibility of a newbie will be very difficult to get thousands of dollars in a short time. But for me, doing a bounty campaign is also an investment.
