Just a quick check-in, I hope to begin private testing later this evening. I will let everyone know if/when that happens and how it goes!
Thanks for checking in! Hope testing goes well. Maybe some screenshots or a whitepaper would help create some enthusiasm? I am hearing too many crickets in this thread!

IRC talks went well. Investors and community members should all join and help build this community.
So far GTX-DOX has been in contact with 5 devs that he personally knows. He is still in talks with them and will get to us shortly. The senior member will introduce himself to the thread and community and a RoadMap along with donation addresses and payment terms will aslo be provided. M3, Im sure you got their PMs, but please respond here as soon as you can since you called for the takeover as well.
Yeah, I think people would be far more willing to donate if someone from this dev team comes on here, at least to give a brief rundown on what they can do, what they plan to do, roadmap, qualifications, etc.

Well this is looking to be a massive waste of some rented hash. I pointed it toward the pool and walked away, assuming dev would reappear. Oh well, no going back now. Mining for 4 more hours.

So this is a 100% premined coin whose blockchain will be secured 100% through x13 PoW? And you want 150 BTC for at this point, nothing more than what every clone coin coming out every day offers?
This is the shittiest shit coin I've seen in a while, and yes I'm counting CNL and VAST.

Is my IP address banned from your pools or something? I can connect with a rental just fine, but with my own rigs it's telling me "failure to resolve". Nothing wrong with my internet or rigs, I just tested elsewhere.

If this is full ICO (which I assume means full PoS) , how the hell can it be x13?

there was github but it just 404ed. ?

I hate it when they are late, i just know the second i stop F5ing it will launch.

I have about 3k coins in my wallet I withdrew weeks ago that are now up to 23 confirms. If the blockchain can slowly tick away until those are eligible for stake, 1.5% of the total coins staking should be enough to really help the blockchain along.

market cap of $15k. serious potential for growth here.

not worth buying or mining it right now If u believe the dev,you can buy some~ it will go down to 200 until pow is over If it wasn't for miners just dumping for whatever they can get, the price would be doing much better and the coin would look much sronger. Others do not understand when the price keeps going down investors get scared and do not want to touch a coin. There has to be a balance between miners and investors. Pesa had too many coins flooded on the market at one time which prevented growth. As soon as Pesa was available on Bittrex miners just dumped away which left investors holding bags. I do agree with this, I'm holding in the hope as block reward decreases miners will push the price up again. I also believe POStr will be the next fad. Miners never help increase the price, investors and whales increase the price. If it wasn't for constant dumping Pesa would be trading much higher. I always roll my eyes when I see the word "investor" used on this forum. If you think anything besides BTC is getting serious investment, you are out of your mind. Just about everything else is a pump and dump, only thing that changes is the time scale. If someone puts money into something that is called an investment. It doesn't matter if it is short term or long term it is still an investment. Feels more like a game of chicken to me. But however you wanna look at it.

This coin suffers from the same problems CNL had. These coins are such scams, the devs can't even code them properly.
VastCoin Specs Name: VastCoin Symbol: VAST Algo: X11 POW/POS hybrid POW: 25 hours of mining Block time: 30sec Block reward: 4000 VAST, halving every 500 blocks Last POW block: 3000 POS starts at block 1500 Block retarget: every block POS interest: 5% per year Coins stake after 15 hours Confirmations per transaction 7 Coins mature after 70 blocks Premine: 0 (0%)
25 hours of POW mining. POS starts at block 1500 so right in the middle of POW. If the very first coins start staking, that's 12.5 hours of POW before mining ends. There's still 2.5 hours left before coins can stake.
THIS IS THE SAME ISSUE CNL HAD. The blockchain comes to a stop and will be at a standstill for a while.
At the very least this is a cheap copycat from a dev that knows nothing about how coins work. At the very worst, this is the same dev as CNL
I don't have the energy right now, I can't keep my eyes open. But I cannot in good conscience go to sleep without first saying that everything about this post is wrong. Except for the fact that this coin is shit and most likely a scam. Got coins Stuck . What is wrong with the blockchain
How is it wrong? CNL had the exact same issues but it was worse. it was a 24 hour mining period with a 24 hour POS starting at like 3/4 the way into POW. It caused the blockchain to come to a halt. took like 5 hours to move 8 or 9 blocks if I remember right. I'd really like to know where I'm wrong... Coin age accumulates from the moment a transaction is confirmed, meaning coins are accumulating age right now. PoS will be well underway well before PoW is finished and plenty of coins should be eligible for stake. I don't fear the blockchain getting stuck. CNL was not eligible for PoS for 24 hours. The PoW stage lasted 24 hours. Check again, there was no PoS during the PoW phase. Literally the only coins that could have had enough weight to move the network at that point was the coins the dev instamined.

There is a pool posted with a ridiculously slow front end. Every click takes 2 minutes for it to react.

Yes, we COULD boycott pools and exchanges, and we COULD contact the SEC. Actually this is a fantastic idea. The BitLicense plan in New York is fantastic, it just doesn't go far enough. I propose an AltLicense. All new alts from here on out should apply for a license, pay a fee, prove their identities, and register with the United States federal government before being allowed to launch. Mining, developing, or using crypto which is unapproved should be a felony and punishable by prison time and a hefty fine. I actually just woke up today and thought to myself "Gee, I sure wish the federal government could regulate MORE aspects of my life". I'm gonna go start a petition on change.gov, we need Obama on this immediately.
OR.............maybe we could just stop mining and buying scam coins? I don't know, it's an option.
You know there's a globe, we're living on and it's not all belong to the US? Not as long as the exchanges support the scammers its not. It would take a boycott of the exchanges and pools supporting those scams for anything to change. That or regulation.
First off, people making uneducated decisions and investing money they couldn't afford to lose in the first place is not a scam. It's their stupidity which has no connection to this coin. Secondly, boycotting the tools which sole purpose is to provide us a convenient way to mine/exchange is just retarded. Again, it's not their fault. And you're proposing regulation in a bitcoin forum. I mean, really? Regulation is one of the reasons bitcoin was made in the first place. I usually refrain myself from name calling and berating people but you, sir are fucking stupid. OMFG, how big is that stick up your ass? I thought I was an aspie but this forum takes the cake. The sarcasm pouring off of every word of that post didn't come across to you?

Whoever buys into this, cannot complain if he/she loses. There's absolutely nothing here that inspires even a wee bit of confidence.
The time for coins like this is so over...
