Because the telegraph is also discussed, but the developers are silent there or very rarely go in that is not very good. Well, the developers have no obligations to use any social channels and honestly, watching individuals demand stuff from people who work pro bono, I can't fault them (It's always a few who ruin it for everybody). They are not paid, nor is there a contract binding them to working on XEL. At the same time, this means that pretty much anybody who is able can come here and work on the project. In that regard, XEL stands in the proud tradition of Bitcoin and its development structure True, and this means if we have a nice discord channel with good people on it then I'm sure everyone including devs will use it.
