No drunk or tired. I submitted my profile on a weekday in the morning.

Where can I find my user ID?

If not, just click for your "profile" and click "summary" under profile info tab Smiley

No No forget about that and here is your profile link>>>https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1107222
122  Other / Meta / Re: User nominated names of possible moderators for forum. on: September 08, 2018, 03:30:19 AM
I think Jet Cash would be good for mod. He may nuked all the newbies who starts their subject with capital letters and merit beggers Cheesy

If TMAN selected for next mod, this kind of report will be issued when post get deleted.
"Read the fucking rules before posting and get lost" Cheesy

No No don't nominate DdmrDdmr for mod, because there are so many members to filled that spot, but for statistical analysis there are few of them and he is one of the best.

Vod is a very good candidate if he willing to accept. Where is Vod? I think he may has loads of work in his bpip project. He is going to update the trust ratings into his project if my memory serves well.

If there is any vacancy for nuking mod, LoyceV will be the only choice without any doubts.

I do appreciate the thought, but as I've said before I don't want to be a mod here.  I value the intactness of my hair.
I thought you're are balded man Cheesy. You have all the qualifications for mod as well as others.

At the end of the day we all are not in a position to nominate or appoint mods as already said by The Pharmacist. @theymos will decide who will be our next mod/s ,but the only problem is when?

123  Other / Meta / Re: [Beta] @mention notification bot open for testing on: September 07, 2018, 01:33:18 PM
How about if we combine those two bots with few modifications,

We can get instant notifications for our Telegram when somebody will type @yourUsername. Isn't that great Smiley

124  Other / Meta / Re: Is it even allowed to promote website ? on: September 07, 2018, 11:45:56 AM
Promoting is equal to advertising and advertising is not allowed as per rules. Report one of his posts and see what happens. He might get temp banned at least.

I'm of the viewpoint that it depends on the content. If the post is of high quality, and offers more content than what they gain from adding a link then I'll usually leave it. But, if they are simply sharing something, and not providing any information in the thread then I'll remove it.
However, Mycrypto1222 continue his annoying works (Big red dots in the subject, useless pictures in the post and advertising his site) as usual. Tongue
why @theymos is it allowed to post this red dots in a subject?
125  Other / Meta / Re: [Beta] @mention notification bot open for testing on: September 07, 2018, 10:13:21 AM
You can try the new notification system, in order to use it send a pm to Maggiordomo by placing in the subject subscribe and in the body a link to a thread you created (preferably in a place out of the way, Off topic perhaps), this will be used to receive your notifications. You will receive a message confirming you are signed up and some basic information.
When somebody will type @yourUsername or @your=Username (if you have spaces in your username, they need to be replaced with = ) you will get one or more notifications in your thread.
A great innovative idea as usual by @Piggy. But don't you think people will clog the Off-topic board by creating many threads as you suggested for receiving notifications and what would happen if people are not limiting those threads to the Off-topic boards? Someone can say Off-topic board is already filled with shit, but that's not an excuse for us to create more threads filled only with notifications. I have checked few of the tested posts and it redirects to the bounty reports which is useless. If we can get a notification for our social media account (how about for Telegram account which can be created for this notification only) would be great rather creating separate threads even in Off-topic board.

Can we use this bot to check the plagiarism post?

Restrictions and customizations (to be implemented):
  • A minimum amount of merits received is going to be necessary to use it, perhaps 5/10

These simple rules hopefully will be enough to discourage people from using in ways were not intended.
It is great to see that you put restrictions. However, I don't think 5/10 Merits would be enough and those Merits should be "Earned Merits"
126  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bounty Hunters ! Please read before join any bounty campaign. on: September 06, 2018, 12:05:03 PM
Hello Bounty Hunters, Good Day.

<...snip...>

I would like to add quote of my guidelines instead of link. So that hunters will not redirect to other board. Hope moderator will not consider it as a plagiarism.

I will request to all the hunters please read below quote before join any bounty campaign. You could be assets of forum instead of spammer;

Another great post OP, but however I'm not a fan of what you have done by quoting the whole thread of your Guidelines, how to spot a scam ICO & report effectively.

Surely this is not "plagiarism" since you only quoting your work. But this kind of practices cannot be accepted even though your idea is noble, at least it doesn't fit your profile (since you are a great contributor for the forum, ICO scam buster). You should have done what you have thought in the first place (underline part) Tongue

127  Other / Meta / Re: Merit source visit Scam Accusation board occasionally on: September 06, 2018, 08:37:54 AM
Otherwise the admins themself will create a section for a proven accusations that may later on be rewarded with some merits
Scam accusations and Merits are two different aspects and why people are trying to find an interrelationship between those two. Scam accusation threads created in Scam Accusations board really help for people to be informed before they involved in a trade. Merits introduced by @theymos to discourage the spammers while giving the opportunity to rank up for the posters whose making an extra effort before posting.

If your suggestion got approved(It's very unlikely), who will determine the accusation is true or false? If that accusation is proven (by considering the comments made by the majority of the members), so why Merit sources should give away their merits for that? Scams are not moderated by bitcointalk forum as well as Merits. We don't want to make the job of Merit sources too hard when awarding their merits.

In a nutshell,
With merit being so permanent and scam accusations so difficult to consistently determine who is right, it makes it a tricky section to hand out merit.

128  Other / Meta / Re: Take care from a update Link on MyEtherWallet on Bitcointalk ! on: September 06, 2018, 04:14:41 AM
Take Care !

If you see or get any Link to update the Ethereum Wallet at :

https://www.myetherwallet.com/  <---------------  right Link orginal site !

https://www.mywalletether.com     <-----------------  Wrong Link and phishing site , Layout and Login is the same as from the Orginal !

Great work OP. I think it's better to put phishing link with the following way to avoid users clicking that link

Code:
[b]https://www.mywalletether.com[/b]     <-----------------  Wrong Link phishing site

I have been warned by "MetaMask" When I clicked that phishing link.

So I would strongly advise all to install this MetaMask crome extention to your chrome browser in order to avoid logging phishing sites.
129  Other / Off-topic / Re: MERITS FOR DESERVING MEMBERS OF FORUM on: September 06, 2018, 03:30:26 AM
I think this [RUPL] Ranking-Up Pipe Line of Forum Members thread, created by me will help you to find out members who deserved to be ranked up but lacking Merits.

But make sure choose the members wisely when giving away Merits. Because some of them are (specially Jr.members) not deserved to be ranked up. I even wonder how they got their 9 Merits.

There are members who really deserved to be ranked up, so make worth your Merits. Smiley
130  Other / Meta / Re: Most entertaining person on bitcointalk - POLL - 12 days - 3 votes per member on: September 05, 2018, 06:23:59 PM
Damn. It's good eat up most my day in firing up my 208 users accounts so to vote for myself.  Grin Grin Grin

I want to be rich so that i can pay more in tax. Smiley
But you can't beat our country when it comes to tax. We are paying taxes all most everything and the latest addition is the tax on interest paid by banks. So now people are not depositing money in the banks. Smiley
132  Other / Meta / Re: Most entertaining person on bitcointalk - POLL - 12 days - 3 votes per member on: September 05, 2018, 03:31:17 AM
I think you should be have organized your poll list by these ranking.   Smiley

https://bpip.org/report.aspx?r=mostrecognized
Come on Vod, rankings in "bpip" are we all know about recognition. But here OP trying to find out the most entertaining person.

BTW I have voted for Vod, TMAN and suchmoon

How are the values for your most recognized list calculated exactly? I don't know how I managed to pull #325, but I am interested in knowing what criteria are used when calculating the list, if possible. I looked around and didn't see any information regarding that, so apologies if I just missed it like a goof.
It's calculated based on the equations in page 379, "Principia Mathematica" @bill gator. Let's see how Vod got his rank number 2,

  • Pick the reg. num of Vod (30747)
  • Multiply by 2
  • Add 12
  • Substract 8
  • Devide by 2
  • Substract the reg. num of Vod

Here we got the rank of Vod = 2  Cheesy

133  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best topic for newbie to gain merit on: September 04, 2018, 07:09:37 AM
i am newbie here in bitcointalk forum i want to learn to gain merit because you cant be promoted if you dont have a merit.
can any suggestion how to make a effective topic? because all topics here in bitcointalk is usual to all in crypto.
please help me to make a topic that effective to gain a merit
I'm confused to see why newcomers always say "i am a newbie..." and "I want to learn". Because if you really want to learn you won't create a thread by just asking this dumb question which I bolded in your post. Instead of creating a thread why you all can't read few of the guide/sticky/rules threads already created by other forum members. Don't bother about Merits, always try to read before posting and help other members sharing your knowledge, contributing forum discussions etc.

Bookmarked this [GUIDES] on Bitcointalk. Index thread created by LoyceV and I repeat, read before starting a thread.

thanks for the advice sir,
It is not needed to call sir for other members, but give appreciation when you felt that should be.

Quote
now my head shakey to think what is the best topic to share here in bitcointalk.
i dont know what is the topic to share here.
Then don't share until you think that you have something to say which wasn't a repeated dumb question and answered several times. Try to use Search function before starting a thread. No need to create threads unless you didn't have anything to say or ask. B&H section is already clogged with so many redundant threads.

And don't open topics about gaining merits.

Agreed with both hands.
134  Other / Meta / Re: 6 sendable merit left on: September 04, 2018, 06:06:00 AM
But i think that after some time users should get a new bunch of merit that can be sent. They dont have to count for the ranking up or dont have to be displayed.
I think you're talking about the previously discussed topic of dMerits (delegate merits) invented by Jet Cash or am I missing something here?

However, it's interesting to see rare situation when a Ledgendary member added to Ignore List of another Ledgendary member.
Adding a member to your ignore list is nothing to do with their rank. However, if a member was ignored by another member doesn't mean anything that others should follow the crowd. The decision of ignoring a member is dependent on that particular member only. But we can get an idea about that member if she/he is already in a ignore list of reputable forum members like @The Pharmacist Wink

135  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I've created a brief introductory article for anyone looking to get into crypto on: September 02, 2018, 06:00:22 PM
I think some of your content written in medium post is just plagarised from Bancor network support page and I'm more than happy to knowing about it. If it's true then we have an another question to be asked from other members. Is it allowed to shared the link of a plagarised post through bitcointalk? I don't think so.
136  Other / Meta / Re: I've just awarded this guy with 3 merits on: September 02, 2018, 05:30:41 PM
Oh dear, that will teach me to jump to conclusions without doing enough research. I only checked the post I merited.
Hey JC don't you think that is enough for Merit the post or do we need to do the researchs for before Meriting a post. Because the post you have been Merited is not plagarised one and you're not Meriting the user but that perticular post.

But at the end of the day, the lesson we all can learn from this is we shouldn't vouch for others unless we absolutely sure.

Edit - he is a plagarism artist. Where is the Global Mods?

Newbies and Junior Members should not be able to get paid for copy and pasting. If you can't earn some minimal amount of merit then you don't deserve be able to earn here.
Hoping that minimal amount is more than 4 Merits Cheesy
137  Other / Meta / Re: [RUPL] Ranking-Up Pipe Line of Forum Members on: September 02, 2018, 02:01:54 PM
I think Zapo deserve full member rank. His current merit status 97. More 3 merit need to become Full member as well he have enough activity. Perhaps you can update your list. Eventually I can say he is doing good job to prevent signeture spam.

For reference  Wink
Regardless of who you are I want to thank you for actually doing your job on this campaign. You're pretty much one of the only new campaign managers that is doing what they should and vetting users beforehand. If everyone did this then the forum wouldn't be in such the state it is. Keep up the good work.
Zapo reached his Merits limit after I updated the thread(after the latest merit data dump at last Friday). @Zapo really deserved to be ranked up due to the way he is doing his campaign job and how about this way? I will give him two sMerits and you can give the last one.

BTW I still remembered who ranked up me from the Jr. Member level to Member level Smiley
138  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [GUIDES] on Bitcointalk. Index thread (until there is a dedicated subforum?) on: September 02, 2018, 01:39:12 PM
I think this [BETA]Signaturion - forum signature interactive editor created by axicron will help users to create tables easily for their posts and I'm hoping this will be added to your list.
139  Other / Meta / Re: [RUPL] Ranking-Up Pipe Line of Forum Members on: September 02, 2018, 01:23:46 PM
Allow me to remove you from your own list Cheesy Welcome to Full Member territory!
Thanks for removing me from my own list and at some point I would be thinking whether I should include myself in the list or not. But finally I thought I just scraped the data and it's not a situation where I feeled conflict of interest. Thanks again for ranking me to full member.

Quote
I checked fine99's merit history, and I wouldn't be surprised if he bought his 245 Merits. I don't think this post for example deserves 50 Merit. He's already tagged by Staff member dbshck for merit abuse.
He's also on my ignore list, which most likely means he's been spamming one of my giveaway campaigns with invalid entries and/or multiple accounts (about 2 years ago). The plot thickens: the post under his post with 50 Merit, which was made less than 3 minutes later, is also on my ignore list.
So my question is: should users with likely merit abuse be on the RUPL?
I also think it's clear cut case and he should be red tagged by DT member. So I think it's better to remove those Merit abuse users and inactive users(not active last 3 months) from my list since it will save the time of other members who willing to spend their sMerits.

Congrats to your new rank vphasitha01, you just got the key to the ivory tower !
Thanks @Shitcointalk for your kind words.

Quote
And thanks for adding me to your list. I didn't want to show up here as I don't want to beg for sMerit (which imo kind of defeat the whole point).
This thread is not a place where you beg for Merits, but for giving little help for members who actually deserved to be ranked up and I think you're one of them. I'm hoping that you will be ranked up sooner(you deserved it). Sometimes gaining the last few Merits to ranked up is the toughest and in my case LoyceV ease that path for me.
140  Other / Meta / Re: Expiry date for topics? on: September 01, 2018, 07:44:27 AM
"wether" , "I didn't agreed" ,  "When you're stop " and calling others shitposters  Cheesy , I wonder what will happen to this forum next . Your grammar gave me a cancer . Well you can not feel what I am to this community as you have nothing to discuss . All you have got is only bogus stuffs to talk about .
Thanks for pointing out my grammatical mistakes (BTW I'm not an English native speaker). I can correct my mistakes in the post (I have already done that), but can you edit your trust wall? Cheesy. You have chosen the decontextualized way of debating. You're not addressing the points what I have highlighted but my grammatical mistakes. You have earned 104 Merits 4 Merits (100 Airdropped) for your contribution to the forum. I think you deserved a lot more than that for your ICO shill bumping service contribution. Seems like I'm not the only one here that didn't feel what you are. LOL
