Hi, i have been invest a bit in some coin in binance months ago. i find out there are some weird thing.
I noticed the price for IOTA in binance and coinmarketcap is different yesterday. normally binance price should be lower than coinmarketcap. it's 3.2 in coinmarket and it's 3.4 in binance and it's keep rising up fast. so i wanna test if it's some scam or whatever. i traded $20 and bought IOTA. Once i bought, the price quickly go down to 3.2 just same as coinmarketcap.
i can't imagine if i never test and trade so much in it.
can anyone explain this?? is this some kind of scam??

If you are feeling worry to play in the crypto and don't play it. the market can sensitively goes up or down. remember every exchange site has different volume than others, if you are seeing why is there a lot of gap between the western exchange site with korean exchange site? and it will be the same as your case. The fact it caused by the manipulation by the whales. |

I sure bitcoin price will recover. But for now because holiday seasons so the effect the price will drop a little bit.
But today I check bitcoin step by step the price increase more than yesterday. So invest in bitcoin still profitable.
ripple has been disrupting the bitcoin. How ripple are stealing the bitcoin market dominance and ethereum was following it after ripple. It's not about holiday. the actual use of the bitcoin gets prevented by ridiculous fees on the bitcoin blockchain. In general both are too closely linked to make a huge difference in the direction you choose. We can see when bitcoin falls the alts follow.
But this time the bitcoin dominance gets decrease a lot. i remember about some weeks ago bitcoin still hold around 64% market dominance in the crypto and in this time bitcoin hold only around 38% from the total market shares in crypto. that means bitcoin lost a lot caused by altcoin. altcoin seems become a new way to invest in crypto rather than buy bitcoin with very high fees. |

If we are to believe what we are told - the Bitcoin Blockchain has forked once again after the revival of SegWit2x.
The fork, which was abandoned in November due to a lack of consensus among original signatories of the New York Agreement, proposed an increase in Bitcoin’s block size from 1mb to 2mb in an effort to improve its scalability.
Much like Coinbase’s surprise announcement of Bitcoin Cash support a week ago, SegWit2x’s revival popped up on the internet courtesy of a new website, headed up by a completely new team of developers from those that had worked on the original SegWit2x code.
The developers celebrated the launch of SegWit2x at block number 501451 on Dec. 28, although potential users will only have access to the new B2X coins on Jan. 15, 2018.
According to the website, B2X features will include a unique address format, a two and a half minute block generation rate while the mining complexity will be recalculated after each new block is generated.
Furthermore, the block size will be increased to four mb, as opposed to the original two mb proposition by the original SegWit2x developers. Replay protection is also being touted, which was a major shortcoming in the proposed fork a few months ago.
All of this sounds great - but it actually sounds too good to be true.

That's my choice, as far as i know about bread platform already released the product. it already used by a lot of people right now and then elixir try to develop a new platform which very good place to invest your money. Im erasing sonm caused by it can be considered as security token. |

The lending coin now has much competition, they compete to be better. I believe ETHlend is the project who worth to take a look and do a research. I believe a lending platform will be beneficial for the mainstream.

Look at Cardano, its going strait to 0.5$ and will overcome Litecoin in marketcap to become the Number 5 !!
There is a little gap before cardano will be surpassed litecoin but it may be happened, my guess about the next week we will see cardano will take over the litecoin place. Ledger is much more better, you can store in there a lot of altcoins that are a little bit undervalued at the moment (aprox 30 altcoins) and Trezor is only offering 15, if am not wrong. Ledger is much more cheaper than the trezor one.
But trezor has a better security rather than ledger but that depends on the user itself, if the user interested to store various altcoin and then ledger should be the best choice and if he or she was focussing on the sercurity and trezor looks very good to be bought. |

If you meant about the scalability challange and majority of altcoins were better then the bitcoin on its scalability but for the actual use and mass adoption looks bitcoin will not replaceable. Even ethereum as the second largest crypto at this moment can't challange the bitcoin on the mass adoption. |

I just came across a post in a forum, that a class action suit has been planned against Hitbtc.
A lot of people cannot withdraw their profits.
That brings me to the point I want to make.
Why do companies start listing their coins on such crappy exchanges?
I would never deposit my money in order to buy a new coin there, what good are potential profits if you cannot withdraw your money?
But in the meantime "trading" has been going on and when eventually a coin will hit a reputable exchange, the price has already multiplied several times, if it is a good coin.
So a trader will never have the chance to buy a good coin for a cheap price, if this coin starts out at a crappy exchange like Hitbtc.
Even for the most promising profits I would never deposit my money at Hitbtc.
Is that mean the problem that already happened by so many people in hitbtc still not resolved? We know that hitbtc included in the major exchange site which already gained a lot of interest from the traders. Companies start to listing their on such crappy exchange caused by the major exchange just like bittrex or even bitfinex need a lot of the development progress to be the thing that can be considered as valuable reason to listed the coin in there. |

I have seen that different exchange markets have different buy and sell %. Would a day trading bring some profit? Let's say bitstamp sells for less whereas gdax offers more expensive. Would this work to buy cheap and sell more at another exchange?

Sounds like a good opportunity but the fact that was so difficult to did it. There are so many people are trying to do that but it seems just like the system of every exchange sites are preventing for doing it. Just like suspend the deposit and withdrawals and another especially about the market movement. |

Well i understand this totally and i must say the best exchange for me is binance, its like the easiest exchange to trade on, very easy , fast transactions and low transaction fees, I am definitely sticking with it no matter what new exchange might come.. Thanks for this tip

etherdelta is safe. Hackers attack in dns server it is not major attack, so I think it is safe to use. You can always follow etherdelta twiiter page for more information.
It's safe right now but you must try to do a flush dns to your computer. But a lot of people are using it right now, since the decentralized exchange and it's just another minor attack from the scammer. We should not need feel worry about that, im using it right now. |

Both these cryptocurrencies are worth investing for long-term but I would prefer Ethereum as more reliable and in the long-term more profitable altcoin.
I've heard charlie lie already sold all of his litecoin portfolios to the market. As there will be more bitcoin fork and litecoin will be in the very strict competition. ethereum should become a better choice than litecoin itself. But i can't confirm that if the news was true or not. |
