Masternode is working, all seems good. I had one question for dev I couldn't find after searching. My vps only has 128 MB RAM, which is always at 99%, on ubuntu, no desktop, putty, etc... Is this RAM OK? I know it's very low. Or will this negatively affect my masternode vps?

Your masternode's performance will not be affected by your VPS's hardware specifications. However you need to make sure your masternode is indeed running at all times. Use the following command "./vivo-cli masternode status" (without quotes) to check the status of the masternode. It should always say "Masternode successfully started." Monitor your ram regularly to make sure you don't run out of memory, otherwise ubuntu will be forced to kill your masternode process. Use the "free -m" command to see how much ram you have available. Use the following 3 commands to clear unnecessary ram usage: sync
su
echo 3 > /proc/sys/vm/drop_caches
Then run "free -m" again to check the difference. People are running masternodes on raspberry pi's with less ram than you, you should be fine as long as you optimize your server and keep the ram usage in track. A server configuration with more than 256mb ram would work almost effortlessly.

You need to generate a masternode private key (by using the "./vivo-cli masternode genkey" command) and set it up into your configuration file - as described in the official guides. I deducted 0.0002 VIVO per seat as tx fee (default setting), which of course isn't fully used if you hold 2 seats or more but equals out when I am sending and paying next week again. Or do you mean the 1 VIVO fee per seat? That has been discussed on slack. Half of it is used to rent the VPS, the other half is basically a service fee for me handling all things. It's a one-time payment for 3 months and will be re-evaluated before I pay the VPS again. |

Running my [first?] masternode for Vivo over the past 18 hours and got 4 payments so far, which is more than expected. Quite pleased with the results! If I ever get to an additional 1000 coins I'll set up a second MN on a VPS Just fired up a master node also. Was relatively painless. I did however have to restart the daemon to get the masternode aspect running. How many coins did you get over the 18 hours? 4 payments = 20 coins, as 4 x 5 = 20  |

The best way to run a masternode is to go for a VPS. There a plenty of companies who have offers below 5 bucks. Looking at the current earnings you will earn that back by x10 in 24h. I wouldn't bother setting up a node at home.
