His post conatins "my earnings" and "start earning bitcoins" thats profit, or not? i am not -veing people because they "invest", i -ve them if they advertise a ponzi. So when he posted, all the info was correct, So why are we persecuting him? because the site went scam 2 months later?
If something becomes illegal today, should we charge people who did what just became illegal 2 weeks ago?
We can go with other exapmles and move from the current case or stick with that case. I would like to stick with that current case: He advertised a ponzi so i -ved him. Your whole mootive for this is that you lost some bitcoins some time ago in a ponzi, If you posted something in such a thread at that time, should you get negative trust? Something weird just happened! I was just reading this thread and in the original post, there is a screen shot. I was hovering my cursor over that screen shot and accidentally clicked and it brought up what appear to be another website in another language. I quickly closed it out. Can someone see if this is a problem? I don't want to get hacked.

I have seen several cases where someone has their bitcointalk.org account hacked and has to prove that they were the original owner. What is the best thing I can do to protect my account so that if it is hacked, I can prove it is mine?
Things to do to protect your account from being hacked:-[1] Stake a bitcoin address hereWhy?=>Most of trades goes through with process of signed message from bitcoin address that was staked in 3 months or more.So if hacker tries to trade he will be asked for signed message from bitcoin address that you had staked in. [2] Change password daily and maintain a thread in meta stating reason for password change as security measureChanging passwords daily will also help and be sure to maintain a thread in meta stating reason for password changes as "Security Measure" with a signed message from bitcoin address staked in.
[3] Open account daily once and keep a check on accounts activities

Neh, you shouldn't IMO (this is an un-related question though I'd guess). BTW, you can't force 'em to remove their feedback. They've their own opinion/view/thinking about ponzi promotors(anything else) & trust isn't moderated AFAIK. They aren't on DT so their feedback shouldn't affect your trust score. I received my vouch account and it works fine right now except I have a question. The account is currently under my email & password that you supplied but the actual account information is registered under someone else name with their credit card with payment due next month and there are 4 other user profiles on the account. What happens when the registered person tries to use his account? He won't be able to get into it so I assume it will be shut down, no?
Edit: Just tried to log in ... question answered, Account is dead. Lasted 1 day.

Beware of this amsterdamse-gracht , he is a scammer, he had ripped me off just around 10 days ago, i had paid him through Skrill $65 for MSDN Admin account, he acknowledged receiving the payment and since then no reply and no email from his side with details of the account, don't trust him at all. i am ready to remove my feedback if he refunds my money as i am sure he doesn't have MSDN accounts he was lying for sure.
If you want a MSDN acc, buy a legit one! |
