121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO is much effective than ICO nowadays. on: December 01, 2020, 07:29:31 AM
Good day everyone, I've been back here and now there is a lot of new things here. Also about the funds raising strategy. Nowadays IEO is the most very effective fund raising today. Also because the exchange holds the token and they distributed after the token sale. And also this kind of token sale is favor to an exchange. But I saw some errors or false about IEO. There is token sale for example on LATOKEN exchange, That exchange (LATOKEN) sell the token (IEO) but in the end they will not list on their exchange so for me that is not good. What if the token is sold out? And its not listed on that exchange mentioned. So how the traders/investors will get the profit? Also very risky right? What do you think guys?
Hmm, that's new, how can a exchange accept IEO crowdfunding on their platform for a new project and end up not listing the project for trading? There must be a broken deal between the project and the exchange team members for that to have happened, anyways, Latoken isn't a reliable exchange anymore though, the exchange is a bad news for any projects that use it for fundraising, fake Volumes and bad customer service, need to be avoided

I know there is a project whose IEO is held at LAtoken but after the IEO period ends, the token is not listed on the exchanger because the developer team argues that the exchanger looks illegitimate to them. Now the Token is listed on Hotbit. This may be a new case and in my opinion this can happen if there is an agreement which according to both parties there is something strange in the future
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Token on: November 24, 2020, 07:22:40 AM
In my opinion there are many scam tokens on Uniswap because people can make ERC20 tokens and list them on Uniswap and therefore, Uniswap gives a warning to be careful. To see whether the token is a scam or not, in my opinion it is also difficult but I will look at the smart contract, whether there is information about their social media channel or not. In addition, whether there are many token holders or not
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why can't the current Ethereum price keep up with the Bitcoin price? on: November 23, 2020, 10:59:21 PM
We all know that the price of Ethereum will grow when bitcoin is growing, everyone knows what happened in 2017. When bitcoin hit the price of $17k - $18k then the ethereum price was already over $1k - $1.2k, but now when bitcoin price is $17k but the ethereum price is very difficult to break the $500 price, shouldn't ethereum current price should is $1k

Actually what happened to ethereum?
If you check on larger time frames the eth price is definitely keeping up with that of bitcoin but it is like a little bit delayed which is understable as initially money goes to bitcoon and then it flows to ethereum and others but one thing is for sure and that is we are in a new phase of longterm bull trend which will be here for many months hopefully.

The ethereum price does not follow Bitcoin price movements against the US Dollar because the Ethereum price is still under pressure against Bitcoin. This can be seen from the price movement of the eth / btc pair which still looks depressed even though currently ethereum has started to rise in price against Bitcoin.

127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins with 1000% Plus Profits on: September 21, 2020, 04:10:18 PM
Those types of movements are mostly seen in the project which has really low liquidity and volume and that's how they usually exit scams first they show us that they made a high % gains then after a few days they will sell all their tokens.
well, I think there are indeed many cases like that, but for now I hope there are no more cases because if it happens again it will make the name of the cryptocurrency become corrupted due to the many scammers.

Agree, hopefully there won't be another scam in the cryptocurrency market even though I think it will remain. The number of projects that are scam or have stalled makes many investors lose money and this makes the name cryptocurrency less good. But as the value of transactions on the cryptocurrency market continues to increase, I think it will attract new investors

129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dont sell off because of the period on: July 28, 2020, 04:12:09 AM
Investing in altcoin needs careful consideration and understanding of the business field of the project we will invest in. If we already understand about the project and understand the whitepaper and the project has a solid team and is able to produce good products, I think the choice of investing for the long term is a good alternative but if in doubt, I think investing in Bitcoin is a rational choice
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I restart a dead altcoin and continue the development?? on: July 25, 2020, 06:09:51 AM
Hi,

I see lots of abandoned crypto projects with potential and lets say I am interested in one of them and want to keep the devlopment going. What should I do to achieve that?
Do I need to talk to the creators of the project?

Looking for some insight on it.

Thanks

In my opinion, rather than taking over a dead project, usually money from the sale of tokens is no longer left, it's better to make a new project and create new tokens or coins. The money from the sale of the new token can be used as capital to start a new one with a more experienced team
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum remains the king of altcoins on: July 24, 2020, 07:30:36 AM
We have etherum bossing altcoins since time past and there has been non replica of any coin that has tried bossing etherum
Just like bitcoin is a king on its own, etherum remains a king on its own too.

Looking forward to the influence of bnb tokens, and okb tokens can have on etherum dominance.

I think BNB coin still needs a long time to defeat ethereum dominance in altcoin, as well as OKB tokens. With the difference in market cap value that is still large, maybe ethereum will still dominate altcoin for a long time because besides ethereum is widely used by new projects, ethereum can be a business need for companies that want to be involved in the cryptocurrency world
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Bad Exchanges on: July 24, 2020, 04:44:01 AM
I'm just trying to do my part, I know many won't care and some don't even bother to read anymore, they are just here for bounties, here is for those who cares about reading and learning.

Stay away from the following exchanges, I have bad experience with them already and I can still see few people getting caught in same trap

1. Vindax
2. Systemkoin
3. P2PB2B
4. Latoken

Not just for fake volumes and watched trade but scams, lose of funds, swapping of withdrawal addresses, you name it, have a great day

Of the four exchangers, I have never used it because from the portfolio list that I have, there is no listing on the exchanger. Many people have negative perceptions of the four exchangers and I think we should avoid it and choose to use an exchanger who already has a good reputation
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crytpo coin/tokens? on: July 24, 2020, 04:40:12 AM
Many of us were well known the Coinmarketcap from where we receive all cryptocurrency like coins and tokens details like on which exchange they listed, what is the 24-hour treading volume, or which platform they based on, etc. These days many new crypto coins and tokens was introducing and listing on many exchanges and It makes a very difficult decision for the investor to choose which coins or tokens should they invest to make some good profit. Many of the new cryptocurrency was makes a good pump in their stating days and after they dump in a very dramatic way. This cause a big loss to the investors and the trust in these types to new coins and tokens was finished. So, the main question is that Is it risky to invest in new crypto coins/tokens? or it is good for a very certain time of investment?

For some people who already have experience, investing in new coins or tokens is high risk because there have been many incidents of scam projects. If the new coins are listed on the exchanger and have a large daily transaction volume, I think the risk is getting smaller and can be used as an investment for short term because we don't know the real market cap value
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty or Airdrop kill project? on: July 23, 2020, 06:05:27 AM
I dont know what you think guys but i think airdrop and bounty kill the project let say after the project finish the ico all the bounty and airdrop hnter sell their coin/token , this make te price go low.Since all of bounty and airdrp hunter did not care about the project.

There are two different opinions and I think that depends on each other's perceptions. Bounty and airdrop can be profitable because there are many hunters who prefer to hold for the long term if the project is good and even buy directly in the market and this can make the sales volume in the market even greater. But bounty hunters also sometimes sell right away as soon as the exchanger starts listing the token which results in a price reduction
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has "Decentralization" become a buzz word these days? on: July 23, 2020, 01:05:13 AM
There has been some "buzz" going around related to "De-Fi" thanks to the negative effects of COVID-19 in the mainstream economy. There are many projects out there which claim to be "decentralized" these days. But deep inside, they're just a "reincarnation" of banks right on the Blockchain subject to single points of failure. For instance, Binance claims that its "Binance Chain" platform is "decentralized" when you and I know that's not the case. The same thing happens with IOTA (centralized coordinator) and Ripple's "XRP Ledger".

If we base ourselves on facts instead of projects' claims, we'll realize that a very small portion of cryptocurrencies provide true decentralization and censorship resistance. But most people don't care about decentralization as long as they're able to make money in crypto land. It's best we call projects such as XRP, TRON, and IOTA as "distributed ledgers" rather than "decentralized Blockchains" due to the way they're designed. As long as the term "decentralized" is just inappropriately, people will believe that their funds are "SAFU" in any type of cryptocurrency or Blockchain network.

Do you think mainstream crypto companies, and startups are making bad use of the term "decentralized"? Are people worldwide being fooled by these same entities? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Smiley

There could be new projects in the name of decentralization but the aim is to deceive. Decentralization is indeed needed in the world of cryptocurrency because Bitcoin's initial goal was to shift the dominance of centralized finance but I think decentralization needs to be developed for current business needs and not just for transactions
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fill your bag with caution on: July 23, 2020, 12:59:28 AM
There have been so many posts on the forum suggesting that it is the right time to fill your bag, I quite agree but then, you need to fill your bag with caution. There are so many projects that are dead already but pretending to be alive using the bear season as an excuse for now. The team behind most of them are just looking for a way to dump on you trying to make you understand that they are working round the clock to develop the project, a project they have all the time to develop in the past but could not, now they want to develop, hmmm, what a way to full the people.

The bull run will surely expose all of them, trust me, some of them are smart enough to understand this and that is why they are trying every means to fool making unrealistic promises in order to dump on you.

My candid advice, before you invest in a project ask yourself;
1. What are the benefits of this project to the world and the future?
2. In the next 2 to 3 years, will the working product still be relevant?
3. Who is the targetted audience? Do the targetted audience really need this innovation?

Agree, investing requires caution so that we don't get caught up in projects that are only pump and dump. A good project must have a good roadmap and a solid team that can produce products that will be used by many people. Need enough research before deciding to start investing
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never invest in any cryptocurrencies! on: July 21, 2020, 11:03:30 PM
I think most people approach crypto in the wrong way. With "get rich quick" approach.

If you come to crypto with such an attitude, you should never ever invest.

On the other hand, if you actually had to earn it while doing whatever you are usually doing anyway, that involves money?

Examples:
You get crypto as a token of gratitude after making donation to some project. (crowdfunding)
or
You are paid crypto as a bonus to your salary.
or
... (any other examples come to your mind?)

Wouldn't the whole cryptoworld be way more healthy? What do you think about it?

In my opinion, most investors in the cryptocurrency market are speculators and not pure investors. When we see a chance to get a profit of 2 or 3 times, I think it's natural that we want to take advantage and sell tokens or coins that we have to switch to another altcoin. There are also investors who are thinking of investing in the long term because they already understand the project being worked on or the coins already have a large community and daily transaction value.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ARE ICOS STILL LEGIT? on: July 21, 2020, 10:59:36 PM
We heard the news of IEO to be in place of ICO in order to curb the high rate of failure and scams in the development of altcoins projects in this year 2019. My surprise is that I still see series of projects claiming to be in ICOs. Doesn't that make them scam as we have seen in the same scenarios in the past?

If it is, I wonder why people still invest whether their time or monies in such projects which have high risk of loss or being scammed.

Not all new projects that do ICO are ugly because there are some that have constraints when going to IEO. To do an IEO on the exchanger, the team needs to pay money first to pay a fee and for new projects, this feels hard to do so they prefer to do ICO over IEO. IEO is also not a guarantee of success in achieving sales because there are many that are not successful.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Day Trading or Long-term Hodl? on: July 21, 2020, 10:56:18 PM
It’s defend, if you understand trade then i think do trade but you want big profit on crypto so think hold long term Altcoin also it’s defend on investment.... Use Trusted coin like ETH, LTC it’s no risk to hold...
Long term trading has its risks, don't assume that you save your money on LTC or ETH will always be profitable,
it's better to short term and read the analysis
l think it absolutely depends on cryptocurrencies, l mean some altcoins are good for long term investments like top altcoins, but others can be a good choice for daily trading. No doubt long term investing is riskier than the short term, you must make a good research about the coin, which you will invest in in the long term. as l said top altcoins like ETH is the best choice for long term investing.

Agree, some altcoins are worthy of a long-term investment and in my opinion many altcoins are only suitable for short-term investments. Altcoin price movements are sometimes very volatile and I don't think we need to hold it for the long term unless the coins or tokens already have a large transaction volume and also a large market cap value
