Getting 0 GPS with grin-miner-v0.5.2, anybody had luck with this miner?
I get 4+ GPS with the same cards using gringoldminer on windows
Console is showing "mining cuck(at)oo" which is the asic oriented version if I am not mistaken. Should be mining cuckaroo29 which is the GPU version
I ended up downloading the latest image from simplemining.net and now my cards are working. Thank you! |

They are in perfect condition and hash at a little more than 8.5Ths each. Looking to get $2,000 USD in BTC + Shipping for each item. Worldwide shipping available if desired. PM me if interested.
OK - the ridicule is well deserved. What do you think would be a fair price for the last of the quiet in-home miners, the Antminer R4 + PSU. Your thoughts appreciated. I think you would be lucky to get $500. Definitely would not sell these on Ebay, asking for trouble Scroll through ebay and use the search filter to only see sold listings. You'd be surprised to see what some have sold for recently. Dont sell to newbie accounts and you should be ok. R4 are prone to failure if not run in a proper datacenter from my experience. I owned a lot of these and it is definitely not a home miner if you expect it to stay functioning. Lack of stable internet and power outages will kill the hashboards. With that said, would not sell on eBay due to charge backs |

Hi guys.
something very strange happened to me after a big storm.
a few power supplies stopped working (even though I use surge protectors)
Also I noticed one of my miners had some moisture leaking out of it
the stuff that has leaked out has now crystallized like raw sugar
could this be fan bearing fluid from a zap from the storm? if not what else could it be?
I am scratching my head here guys, any help would be appreciated
what kind of miners?

Also what kind of weather cataclysm (lighting strike?) had happened? And what kind of power protectors you use. Simple voltage filters unfortunately don't give enough protection. Often GPU thermal pads can be leaked. many lightning strikes over night, it was a big storm, i use standard surge protectors and nothing fancy. from the consensus it sounds like high humidity, would anyone recommend a certain dehum> depends on how big your space is, humidity levels, etc I use this model: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5ms2N4FbOk |

Would you have any interest in selling individual cards out of the rig? I am extraordinarily interested in picking up a couple of 1080 TIs at the right price. Building a couple computers for some friends of mine, and need 1-3 cards.
