New hub and tester showed up, let the fun begin!  Well, as soon as I can stop the Comms error and get bfgminer to see the sticks on my XP box, and install Linux on a laptop, and and and...

Just 2 sticks for the moment with this hub, other 2 are busy on another box.

have you tried Novak's cgminer version?

130  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Building headless Bitcoin and Bitcoin-qt on Windows on: June 21, 2015, 11:46:49 PM
After a pauze of 5-6 weeks... (all this code really drove me insane after a while) I finally managed to compile bitcoin and litecoin qt static.. Works like a charm  Grin

After failing over and over again on windows 7 (never again Tongue ), I tried windows 8.1. And after the first try it was already done. Very happy with this Smiley

Thanks a lot for this guide, and all the help from the other members  Smiley

Cheers,

Given your quality power breakout boards. I can see this as a big plus in your stable and will help out all I can. The biggest problem with mining as everyone knows is ROI and the cost of running and the heat. A really good idea would to make cooling a big priority. I would like to liquid cool my stuff. just makes it simpler to mineral oil submerge everything and pump the oil through a fan cooled panel like a old cars ac condenser. another idea is make a master backplane for data that you could plug in set amounts of the miner cards so scaling can be dine like the old 10gig miners.

Some stuff we did with immersion cooling.

Lucky you, living on a Novec 7100 allowed country Tongue

So now I'm curious, what countries/regions ban or can't be shipped to Novec Engineered Fluids?
In our conversations with 3M they seemed to believe/portray that Novec could be shipped anywhere.

Welp, i saw in their site that Novec is allowed only on a handful of countries (because hazardous materials restrictions). I too asked my local 3M branch and directed me to smuggle them via a 3M paint importer. Go figure

weird, in a couple videos i watched about novec they say it is completely environment friendly  Huh
132  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANN] B&C Exchange - A decentralized exchange paying BTC dividends - 95% funded on: June 16, 2015, 11:34:26 AM
How can I get this coin?just money?

Thank you for your interest in B&C Exchange. There are three ways you can get BlockShares:

1) You can purchase BlockShares by emailing bkssale@vistomail.com or sending a BitMessage to BM-2cTihATJ5FwJ7vWBwZmJjr55eFPFWBCmCQ. Please ensure you provide us with the information requested in the main announcement post. The current price is $4.08 per BlockShare.

2) You can purchase NuShares on the open market on any exchange listed at https://nubits.com/exchanges/nushares-exchanges. Holding NuShares at the time of the creation of BlockShares will entitle its holders to BKS.

3) You can wait until BlockShares are created and publicly traded on exchanges.

2b) Bitcoin holders too right, (they get total of ~4,250 BKS, 2%)?

four ways
133  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Pizza for bitcoins? on: June 15, 2015, 09:12:36 PM
He could still have plenty of BTC in his savings.

He spent almost everything, apart from single-digit change. So NO, he doesn't have 'plenty of BTC' in his savings.

Source:

-snip-  Other than a little bit of single digit change, I spent everything I mined.  -snip-

he can sold all mined coins but this is the end adress where those pizza bitcoins stoped and now worthing around 30 milions ,why them are there waiting to an up? if i had such i would sell all and live from banks interest only .... sounds like euromilion that gives around 20 to 100 milions euros.... enought to live till die lol

are you saying what I think you're saying? That this is all a hoax and made up story, and he bought the pizza with cash and kept the BTC?

137  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: March 24, 2015, 11:08:28 AM
so as i understand they have a taped out chip ready to roll. FC is MIA and took all funds with him, but who holds the taped out chip? This has to have some value, no? of course, time is of the essence... how long do we sit around with thumbs up arses before trying to salvage what we can with this chip design? oh, right, we wait until the design is obsolete and worthless. ok. got it.

To put it simple: There's no money/funding. You need $10m to make some profit off of the chip, not even talking about dividends here. A large investor supposedly caved in December or something and FC only communicated this to the board in January. Then he disappeared. Risk/Reward ratio for using BTC funds at current BTC prices is too low (oh and FC has control over most funds, so there's that, yeah...)

didnt bitfury buy datatank in that period, maybe they also bought FC?
