Peerbet is no nonsense, simple sports betting site.https://peerchemist.github.io/Peerbet/There is no backend, there is no database, there are no accounts, it is all hosted on github and executed from my personal Peerbox. How it works:Users place their bets by sending Peercoins to appropriate address. Each address now represent a pot. Among three pots per game only one can win as bets are for the regular time soccer game only (90 minutes + extra time). Soccer game can end with: home win, guest win or draw. The house (Peerbet) takes the Peercoins from both losing pots, deducts the 5% house fee and distributes the winnings proportionally to input to all the bettors in the winning pool. Users from the winning pot can expect the winning to be distributed within 16h after the regular time of the game has ended. Payment will be sent to the address of the largest input of the bet transaction. Bets are accepted as long as they are included in the block that is issued before the game starts. All the bets that came after will be returned to sender but with five times the fee (0.05). Make sure you own the keys of the address you use, do not use the exchanges. There is no minimum or maximum bet size. Users, be warned not to send Peercoins from the exchange as system depends on you using your wallet.I will open-source the backend scripts after the cup ends. FAQ:* What happens when there are bets for only one outcome? - The funds are returned to user. * What happens when there are bets for only two outcomes? - If both pots lose, house keeps the winnings. This incentives users to never leave a pot empty. * Will you continue the project after UEFA Euro 2016? - No. This is only for this Euro cup with intention of promoting Peercoin. * What will you do with profits? - I have already publicly promised that I will donate 40% of the profits to PeerKeeper project by @hrobeers. Just came across this today https://ics-cert.us-cert.gov/alerts/IR-ALERT-H-16-056-01 while reading up on a feed about US grid security upgrades coming up and wondered if BirFury's farm amd other operations in the Ukraine are in the blacked out regions... The hack on Ukraine's grid was very extensive and targeted If so, no fun at all for them  isnt bitfury's farm in Tbilisi, Georgia? |

They chop heads off in china, the chinese miners probably have a stronger ethos for freedom than a lot of the part-timers in the west who pay lip-service to freedom and then hand fat checks to the corrupt governments and banksters while they get the shaft from them.
Bitcoin mining has gravitated to the strongest hands, just as it was designed to be ... you cant truly know freedom until you have truly known oppression.

The arrival of the $35, wireless-enabled, Raspberry Pi 3, following a similarly 64-bit, $40 Odroid-C2 SBC a few weeks ago, represent a big speed boost for Linux hacker boards but not a sudden switch to 64-bit ARM computing. While the Odroid project offers an Ubuntu 64-bit image for the C2, the default Linux distribution released by the Raspberry Pi Foundation is still 32-bit.
An eventual change to 64-bit ARM firmware is inevitable given the fact that the technology offers significantly improved performance. Pressure will also come from more power-efficient, 64-bit x86 chips. Yet, because of the extensive reworking of code required for the changeover, the Raspberry Pi Foundation will commit only to “considering” a change to 64-bit for the Pi’s default Raspbian distribution in the coming months. |

This may be helpful. It's a line you add to bitcoin.conf Reduce upload traffic
A major part of the outbound traffic is caused by serving historic blocks to other nodes in initial block download state.
It is now possible to reduce the total upload traffic via the -maxuploadtarget parameter. This is not a hard limit but a threshold to minimize the outbound traffic. When the limit is about to be reached, the uploaded data is cut by not serving historic blocks (blocks older than one week). Moreover, any SPV peer is disconnected when they request a filtered block.
This option can be specified in MiB per day and is turned off by default (-maxuploadtarget=0). The recommended minimum is 144 * MAX_BLOCK_SIZE (currently 144MB) per day.
Whitelisted peers will never be disconnected, although their traffic counts for calculating the target.

Well as has been noted fairly extensively so far, the primary hardware goal is to build something S1-compatible. So, about 15x25cm
S1 compatible? Oh boy.. I have 6 s1s in my closet, all gettin dusty. It'd be great to put them back in working order.. I just love the bare pcb look of the hashing units on s1s and sticks maybe? |

I am trying to get this compiled and running on my RPi2B with Jessie lite. I git cloned the source and attempted to run autogen.sh and got the following output:
autom4te: cannot create autom4te.cache: No such file or directory
aclocal: error: echo failed with exit status: 1
autoreconf: aclocal failed with exit status: 1
I am guessing I am doing something wrong here. I am fairly new to Linux and am learning as fast as I can but I have no idea where to go with this other than check out the script and see what it is looking for and it is indeed missing.
Any help for this noob would be great.

have you installed autoconf and automake? Building from git also requires autoconf and automake

I don't think we've communicated. I wasn't talking about a separate, discrete chip. I was talking about using a little free space (and maybe pins) on some larger chip with completely different purpose and market.<snip>
I agree on that point. The hard part would be to get the chip customer interested in bundling a mining circuit into said other use chips. I'd LOVE to see folks making chips for IoT jump on this. Last I heard the market will be several billion IoT chips this year. Shades of the BitFury light bulb or Bitmains AntRouter... Cree and Phillips are already working on their LED bulbs acting as a light-based wireless link along with a WiFi circuit in them for lighting control. One step further is their using POE to not only communicate with the luminaries but also to power them. Gets around needing electricians to install the wiring and code restrictions on how/where the wiring is ran. To me that screams to put a miner in there! Of course, as a single bulb/miner it would hardly be worth the time to even setup a wallet for the 'income' but if you are talking about an entire building full of lights... Holy christing mother of fuck, that's a shitty thing to do. Seriously, as a community we need to vet who runs these exchanges so as to avoid debacles like this. Exchange owners should not be able to take the money and run.
