Bitcoin is good for a long-term investment, because its price increase is unpredictable and unstable I believe that bitcoin’s price will be higher in the future than present. I have some BTCs that I buy every month in small quantities and I still doing that.

A war between BTC with gold? Is it gonna happen? I don’t think it will happen because both gold and BTC have their own advantages and disadvantages. And the differences between these two are gold has a stable price, permanent, and has a physical form. While BTC isn’t stable in price, still in growth, and doesn’t have a physical form. I don’t think there will ever be a war between them.

Bitcoin is an asset that has a speculative selling price so it might happen if bitcoin’s price reduced or rise greatly.
And I've had a time like this when bitcoin’s price was dropped to $ 3,000 and then a few months later its price recovered and even reached up to $ 10,000.

But if you start altcoin investment maybe you will spend less than bitcoin investment and the profit depends on the funds you spend on the investment. A dip selling price of bitcoin doesn’t mean bitcoin will die slowly, it’s just natural because no one can control and predict its selling price.
I think if the bitcoin price goes down that’s our chance to buy some bitcoin to hold until the bitcoin’s price goes up again and that's where we gain benefit from bitcoin.
