121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PIVX] - PRIVATE INSTANT VERIFIED TRANSACTION - PROOF OF STAKE - ZEROCOIN on: September 06, 2020, 05:34:57 PM
thats good idea man, just do it as soon as possible, if PIVX team can't change or modify the OP
and maybe a new thread will refresh this project

I don't think a new thread will refresh the project. I don't even know if the project needds to be refreshed. But I agree that a new thread is a good thing to do here if the team have no access to the old PIVX account.

Anyway what happened with s3v3nh4cks? Was his account hacked or he left the space?

122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLOAK] Private, Secure, Untraceable & Decentralized Digital Currency on: September 06, 2020, 05:15:14 PM
If anyone doubted this project would survive then take a close look at the activity on social channels and on their own website.

Everyone has left - And their vision, or what we should call it, will be broad to life by other projects who are able to mange their project.

The only question left is really, will we see an announcement of them leaving or will they just let it be and hope that a bullmarket will spark some life into the price on their coin.
(Probably the same strategy they used in 2015-2017)

No one will ever tell you "hey we are leaving, good bye". Every projects that are dead are abandoned without any notice. I don't know if there is the case of Cloak but since maybe you know more, it could be. Cloak is/was a very interesting project and I hope you are wrong. I would like to see it going forward. Time will tell, tho.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][2POW] Luck - A new consensus algorithm to eliminate large mining pools on: September 05, 2020, 03:47:12 PM
Around 3 blocks, I run 4->6 miners in 1 machine, so they can use 100% of my CPU. I use linux.

Got it, thanks! Now makes sense. Indeed my Laptop is using only 25-30% of the CPU power, but since I am now a Linux user I need to do some research and to try to run more nodes to have more chances to hit a block once in a while.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Cardano (ADA): A New Cryptocurrency and More on: September 05, 2020, 03:39:40 PM
How profitable is it to delegate ADA? As far as I know, staking has just started? What is the profit now?

If you look few posts above you'll see I've already said it. Is somewhere around 5.75% a year (more or less, depending on the pool you choose to delegate your coins), not something you''ll get rich with but is better than nothing like it was before Shelly. I don't know what is the minimum amount to delegate to a pool, but I assume is 1 ADA, which is not worth the pain to delegate it, if you ask me.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][2POW] Luck - A new consensus algorithm to eliminate large mining pools on: September 05, 2020, 04:52:52 AM
same reply as above. No GPU here. I myself only mine with 4 x i7-6700k and have blocks everyday

Hey mate!
What do you mean by blocks everyday? You hit 1-2-5 or how much?
I am asking this because I mine from 1 single CPU i7-7700 and I didn't got 1 block in 3 days. Maybe is something I do wrong.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Stipendium | X11 | Private | Bounties | ICO | Payments Driven | POW/MN | on: September 05, 2020, 04:23:24 AM
So the block reward is 240 coins that are split among POW miners and MN owners 50%-50% and you premined 32.25% of all the coins that would ever be mined over 242 years, this means you now own 99% of the supply.
And btw, 250 coins for a translation is a joke.
No thanks!
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Greedy crypto developers on: September 04, 2020, 12:57:06 PM
I consider this transition a good and a bad thing at the same time.

A bad thing, because of what you mentioned above.

A good thing because some of the projects in the space were even dead or floating around with no vision, and DeFi is a catalyst for them.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XMG] MAGI | CPU mining | mPoW | mPoS | [MagiPay] on: September 04, 2020, 09:36:06 AM
Hi! Back here, since 2017 I did not enter. I am happy to find people who continue to support the project. I'll turn on my pc to mine some XMG

Hello and welcome back!
There will be always support for the project since many people still love the coin. For example, I still hold some coins since XMG is one of the first coin I ever mined when I joined the cryptospace.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Cardano (ADA): A New Cryptocurrency and More on: September 04, 2020, 09:23:58 AM
Guys, I learned yesterday that now it is possible to delegate coins stored in a wallet on iOS. I have a little ADA. Tell me, how much does staking start and what is the approximate profit?

What do you mean by: "how much does staking start" ?

As for the approximate profit is around 5.7% a year, depending on which pool you choose to delegate your coins.
Here is a list of pools you can choose from https://adapools.org/ take a look and choose one that you like.

Quote
why didn't i mined one coin for these days
Because you are not using pools. Now, many users have a choice: solo mine one coin per week or so, or use secret mining pools and mine a fraction of coin every hour and use it off-chain. The pool pressure is getting higher and higher, because of merged mining from other coins and because this coin is quite young, so the initial price will be higher than later. A few months later the difficulty will drop if this coin will follow typical altcoin path, but now it is high and still will be for a while.

Wasn't the purpose of this coin with its new mining algo to avoid pool monopol? As far as I know 2POW is pool resistant algo. So now what you are saying to me is that apart the fact that 1 single person can mine 50% of the blocks, now I find that pool mining is also possible, even tho they are secret pools or "hidden pools" since they are not secret anymore.

This project gets better and better. JK

Airdrops have started for Discord members. Join!

https://discord.gg/b2Ru62d

Is this Airdrop hosted by the team or some generous members? I want to know this to know if this coin is still worth watching or is already dead. If team members are still active on Discord I wonder why the team members or OP starter don't stop by in here anymore.

~

Hey @Sherlock.Holmes, regarding our private discussion about the OP design, Are you still interested? I write in here since I didn't understand your last reply and didn't received an answer to my last one.
Let me know if we can work together. Cheers!

hey there guys,

i started a little community event to collect the fee for the qtrade listing for luck.

Join our discord and tip a little amount if you can

cheers

Good initiative mate! How much is asking qTrade for the listing? I hope they are not asking thousands of dollars since is a small exchange no offence. I know qTrade is quite a good exchange, working smooth but with not so much coins/users.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TrustWallet For Airdrops Tokens ? on: August 30, 2020, 04:45:44 PM
I'm wondering if I can use trust wallet ethereum address for joining Airdrops? Will the tokens reflect on the wallet? Or is it better to use other erc20 wallet for joining Airdrops?

Coz I wanna reduce some apps on my phone and if I can use one wallet for most of my crypto activities, much better, but if not it is fine. I'm still trying to explore crypto and related things hope you could share some important infos that can help me understand this more

Thanks very much. 😄

Yes the tokens will be reflected to the Trust wallet. Don't forget to backup your mnemonic seed in a safe place.
And since you use the wallet for Airdrops and bounties, imo, is safe to use the mobile wallet since you won't handle big amounts of money.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLOAK] Private, Secure, Untraceable & Decentralized Digital Currency on: August 30, 2020, 04:38:51 PM
10. Is there any reasonable explanation why has the team spent more than $1 million for Binance listing which could have been used for development which has been stagnant for years

One million dollars for a exchange listing? This is way beyond my understanding, tbh. Back in the days I heard of this amount of money, but the ICOs back then made multi-millions and they could affort to pay such a listing fee, but here is just bad money management if you ask me.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Cardano (ADA): A New Cryptocurrency and More on: August 30, 2020, 02:46:52 PM
Dont think daedaluswallet should even exist. Who made it and why is the name that stupid? Heck who knows. What I want to emphasize, daedalus lacks the information on network-wide distribution of the coin supply, etc. who holds how many coins. Distribution sheet should have been built in daedalus but I guess that would of meant more contingencies team did not want to deal with / pay for.

Daedalus wallet is a tool made to send and recieve ADA coins, to stake and/or delegate them. For what you ask and your needs you have to use the block explorer. I think they have decided to not add explorer and stuff in the wallet to make it more lightweight. Not the smooth wallet out there, but it does the job.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][2POW] Luck - A new consensus algorithm to eliminate large mining pools on: August 30, 2020, 02:36:00 PM

Windows wallet version is already available, so is the miner which is built-in wallet.
You can download the wallet/miner from here: https://lucknet.club/ under Miner section (that is the wallet + miner).
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | NEO Smart Economy⚡Now a Top 10 Cryptocurrency⚡| Official Thread |Updated Aug10 on: August 28, 2020, 10:00:15 AM
If you are long term investor and know the power of this project than no need to get worry by looking over the recent price action. I also like this project and still have good amount of coins which I bought last year. My plan is also like you to keep this hold for 2 or 3 years to take the big advantages.

Yes I am. But is not about the recent price action, is a feeling. I hold and buy NEO since 2018 when if was $55. I know the power of this project this is why I still hold my bag, but what I doubt for is, that will never touch its ATH. Hope I'm wrong and NEO will make us all happy.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][2POW] Luck - A new consensus algorithm to eliminate large mining pools on: August 28, 2020, 09:50:41 AM
Hello everyone, 1% of luck's pre-mining has been burned 248805, and there are still 49,999 lucks left for seeds and bounty. good luck to luck and everyone. Cheesy

Thanks for the info! Even I didn't agreed 100% with the burn of the coins, at least you have managed to keep 50K of LUCK. Use them wisely and don't forget to make some nice bounties  Grin since mining is harder and harder these days.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][2POW] Luck - A new consensus algorithm to eliminate large mining pools on: August 28, 2020, 08:25:30 AM
I also believe that are somewhere between 5K and 10K nodes mining LUCK, since I was not able to mine on e single coin in 72h which I know it is based on luck but even so, were mined 13K blocks (coins). As far as I saw people are mining with 100-200+ nodes (the ones that are still mining). So for me with one PC is not profitable anymore even tho the price of the coin increased lately.
