Trying out Winminer, but the numbers dont look even close to Nicehash or Multipool. The Monero CPU miner is way too low and the GPU for whatever it mines is also low, something doesnt add up here. Im sorry to say but Minergate was terrible and i wish i had known sooner. I really hope Winminer is still benching the coins and algorithms. Not sure how you know when it is done? For what it shows me now, i am really losing out.

Why should anyone leave his money on a pool , ppl still don't understand cryptos , never trust third party ,if they don't run with your money someone will hack them and run with it , so it's a matter of time to be stolen , control your private keys control your own money....no banks in crypto
Payouts are scheduled in this case, at least to my knowledge. A lot of Crypto mining is about trust and contributing to the network and pools, i guess.

@epicfailman, @kangwie I use two GPU, undervolted and 1261mhz-861mV core, 1950 mhz-861mV memory with 230watt at wall. I've modify my command line in: gatelessgate.exe --gpu-platform 0 -k nist5 -o stratum+tcp://pool.solariscoin.com:3032 -u tony_crunk.worker1 -p x -d 0,1 -I 20
with 16.22Mh each video card. I suppouse sgminer and gatelessgate have same performance... I can try it...
niest5 depends from GPU or memory?
I got better results with SGMiner 5.5.5 than with Gateless Gate. Intensity setting of 128 works well, intensity setting of 256 is too intense and leads to crashes. Algorithm "talkcoin-mod" "nist5" same thing, same hashing speeds. Set a high fixed fan speed. My SGMiner .CONF file looks like this: { "pools": [{ "name": "Solaris", "url": "stratum+tcp://pool.solariscoin.com:3032", "user": "LoginName.WorkerName", "pass": "WorkerPassword", "profile": "solaris" }], "profiles": [{ "name": "solaris", "algorithm": "talkcoin-mod", "Intensity": "20", "worksize": "128", "gpu-threads": "1", "gpu-powertune": "20" }], "default-profile": "solaris", "no-extranonce": true, "no-submit-stale": true, "temp-target": "75", "auto-gpu": true, "gpu-fan": "55", "temp-cutoff": "85", "temp-overheat": "90" } Try that and compare to GatelessGate. I try it... and I've same performance with GatelessGate... exactly 16.3 in sgminer but it crash often. gatelessgate is more affidable and stable, I prefer use it I am not sure, but this is for the old school NIST5 wallet of Solaris ? confirm please? How do you SOLO mine the XEVAN version wallet ?

Hi, i dont think i understand fully, but i want to make sure since no question is a stupid one. I am mining with 2 AMD cards and 2 NVIDDIA cards, so i am using pot 3332, is this correct?

Hi, can this coin be SOLO mined or not ?

Glad to join your airdrop.
Hi, forgive me, but i dont really understand AIRDROP. do i just get a twitter account and then copy and paste the twitter comment for Monero Gold and then i retweet that myself ?

im going to sell my 1 ounce and 1/2 ounce Kruger coin gold as they have served me no purpose except for sentimental thoughts to save it for my child. the price has been flat for ages so i would rather invest the equity else where

After reading the information on the solaris coin site, it does say that Nist5 "was" and Xevan is "now".
Okay now i can understand why the hell this was not working after all.
Digibyte kept the multi algorithm which confuses less people.
How the hell do you SOLO mine, now is it the same as the old comments in this post thread?

I dont understand why SOLO mining is a pain to get working.

Really having a headache with this
Unless you have allot of GPUs to point at it solo mining would be a complete waste of time.... I'm not sure if it's even supported to begin with, but what version of sgminer are you using? Hello, can somebody please assist with this issue which persists ? Solaris Developer, please? I see many people still asking about this? Why is it so hard to get an answer , i want to contribute to this coin and its network, and i am willing to pay donation.

Hello Elder, long time, how have you been ? I am using the only SGminer version which supports Xevan , as far as i know - > https://github.com/LIMXTEC/Xevan-GPU-Miner/releasesI use this with Bitsend perfectly well , to mine solo, although it takes me days to get blocks, but i am just doing it to support the network and maybe im lucky i get 2 blocks not too far apart. I would like to get Solaris going too, it does Support solo, as i can see may posts previous to this about .conf files and sgminer.

I am trying to mine Xevan with an AMD r9 380 GPU I am using sgminer 5.5.-nicehash-1 on ubuntu. It connects to pool and starts mining, but miner shows low hashrate and no shares are ever accepted, and pool shows 0 hashrate.
Here is screen from sgminer
sgminer 5.5.0-nicehash-1 - Started: [2017-11-24 19:04:52] - [0 days 00:07:54] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (5s):28.75K (avg):20.62Kh/s | A:0 R:0 HW:1 WU:0.000/m ST: 2 SS: 0 NB: 11 LW: 511 GF: 0 RF: 0 Connected to lycheebit.com (stratum) diff 0.125 as user SXfUEzYJ66yXQ1pmfYddAcfGFJnkprZDQT Block: 4296d2b4... I appreciate any help I can get.
What is your .bat file? My guess is that your algorithm isn't set correctly, but I'm not sure how high of a Xevan hashrate to expect with a R9 380... with a Rx 480 you can get 1.7 Mh/s pretty easily. Here is the command I run ./sgminer -k xevan -o stratum+tcp://lycheebit.com:3739 -u SXfUEzYJ66yXQ1pmfYddAcfGFJnkprZDQT -p c=XLR_XEVAN What version of video drivers do you use? Change "-k xevan" to this: "--algorithm xevan-mod" - that should give you the correct algorithm instead of it trying to use a generic kernel. We don't have any R9 380s, but for the Rx 400 series the 16.12.2 drivers worked well. How does xevan work for this coin, i tried xevan and xevan-mod none of them work for me. This is nist5 as far as i can gather and see. I only get Sgminer accepted shares with --kernel nist5 Such a confusing coin as some pools say scrypt nist5 and xevan , which one is it

I have a few questions i hope somebody can help me with:
Which is a decent bitcoin gold pool?
I have so many configured but not sure which is paying best or is there such a thing?
I heard shares and how many miner makes a difference, i dont quite understand.
Is it worth me mining with 2 GPU's - RX470 stock settings

might be related since it is forked, but i would kike to run a full node of bitcoin gold, but dont want to download 150 gigs of data. can i use a blockchain i have which is 90 gigs from a previous time i saved my bitcoin blockchain ?

I would love to know which exchanges i can use for my currency. I use ZAR as my currency.
I was told to get a polon...;kraken...;yobit , but i dont understand why , because they dont support ZAR as far as i know? Would you be able to tell me what i am missing and what i can do to make use of those exchanges?
Thanks for the replies.
