I don't think bitcoin cause the Internet to be used more significantly. Almost all the people are now using Internet.
Those who are trying to know more about the blockchain technology and bitcoin use Internet more. But most of bitcoin are supposed to use bitcoin only for transaction. It doesn't take a long time.
Actually it depends upon the user because he/she has the control of his/her own life. The population of bitcoin doesn't affect the health of all as a whole. It makes sense if you will say that the user itself will be affected by the action he/she had made. Bitcoin users must have self control of the proper usage of system. |

Everytime bitcoin have a bull momentum,there are tons of thoughts about it as died many times. I am also kept on waiting and serve my stuck up with my coins bec. Of this waiting thing. But will fight this battle and will still wait for something that is I knew I will kinda have wins. Just wait for the market to become green.

The latest price trends have shown that it is still possible to make some profits, if you are able to spot the price movement patterns. The beginners should stick to the old strategy of buying on the dip and selling on the spike, until they have recovered their initial capital investment.
Once they reached that stage where they have recovered their own money that they invested, the risk goes down considerably. The ROI should be your first goal and the profits will come much later. ^smile^

I got scammed out of my bitcoin. I have located the Bitcoin address where the ass hat is holding all of his/her/their coins. Its in excess of ~700btc. I would like to find a way to crack his the public key for the private key and then donate the coinage to ~700 random peeps in this community. I did not loose a lot but I'm way more talented that rich. And I have access to a server farm (in which I have permission to use unused resources - greater than 100 machines).
IF anyone has attempted this before, it would be greatly appreciated. There is a TON of into out there but I cannot decipher what is the correct method to use.
Give that dude the thing he deserve it's not a good work to scam someone. Doing things like that for me is just for weak so give hime the reward he deserves. Make him pay for what he do and at the same time your focus is to get your own back. Get back what is yours and teach that scammer a lesson he will never forget. |

In my opinion BTC is too risky to hold. I would suggest to go into altcoins, they have more potential in my opinion.
I don't want to lose but I'm not gonna leave bitcoin just like that because this is where my heart is. I put a lot of effort, work and time in here so it's not easy for me to give up like that. Bitcoin taught me to be brave and now fear has no place in me I'm not just gonna threatened by the struggles of bitcoin I will wait until it comes back cause I know it will happen. |

It is hard to use Bitcoin as mode of payment at its state now since it is going down. You might lose, it is better to wait for the price to increase so you will benefit more even as you use as mode if payment.
For how long are we going to wait? Won't that just make us misers? If you buy a shoes worth .01 btc or roughly $60 and tomorrow that .01 btc will be worth $80 so that you just paid $20 over the price of that shoes.
That's overthinking: If I do this, this will happen. If I do that, that'll happen, what if instead of it going to 80$ it goes to 40$, you will feel happy then, but what about the person whom you bought it from, he'll be at loss won't he? We need to start thinking about others before ourselves and need to stop overthinking because it ain't gonna do us much good , this will be the stepping stone to make a better society. If we want something we should just get it and not wait to make a profit. We are a community created for the people, by the people. (P.S. People buy lottery ticket all the time, that’s total fine, spending $5 here and there for fun. But if you mortgage your house to buy lottery tickets you are crazy.
Same thing with bitcoin. Spend a few grand for chuckle is fine, chances are you won’t see your money again. Heck I would pick up a few bitcoins too when it drops below $100.

Bitcoinica has a total historical revenue equivalent to about 0.67% of the whole Bitcoin economy. Not even Apple can match this record in the real world economies.
The first time I read about Bitcoin was in late 2010. My first reaction was "these coins are cheap, maybe it just doesn't work". I learned about Bitcoin again in mid 2011, when the first bubble started. I bought my first Bitcoin when it fell to $8. I told all my close friends and classmates about Bitcoin, simply because I think it's a cool idea. The idea of a margin trading platform quickly went into my mind, and I started working on Bitcoinica.
I lied about the time it took to build Bitcoinica. (I said I spent one week on it.) I started on September 4, 2011 and launched on September 9, 2011. Just four and half days. In a week, trading volume passed one million dollars. I started making profits like crazy.
In November, an investor approached me to acquire Bitcoinica. Due to regulatory concerns, I agreed to the deal and signed the agreement. Bitcoinica was sold for a good price. However, since the investor is unable to arrange for a replacement team, I continued to become the sole operator until Team Intersango took over two weeks ago. The investor let me keep all profits until late January, the official handover time. After handover, he continued to offer generous salary and performance bonus every month. The investor demands his identity to be protected so I won't share more information on this.
I left school in Singapore and decided to continue my education in Australia. I made the decision because of the Internet industry, and the hacker culture. I'm a web developer and I want to become a really good one. I want to work with smart hackers and wonderful designers to change the world. Singapore isn't particularly good at this. (Obviously, US West Coast should be a better choice, but for some other reasons I didn't consider US.)
I have started working on another project (not Bitcoin-related) that is going to make a little difference on the Internet. So far I have achieved great progress and I'm pretty confident about this new venture.
My life hasn't changed much except that I became more confident after Bitcoinica's success. I realized that I have the power to make something profitable. Such kind of confidence is extremely hard to get, until you really experience a significant success. I worked on several projects before, and all of them failed eventually. I thought I was confident because I kept building new stuff and improving myself. But the real confidence comes from the success itself.
I failed at one thing though, that is generating value for the society. Bitcoinica did create a place for people to trade more efficiently and provide liquidity to the market. However, speculation is a zero-sum game (or negative-sum, strictly saying). I know there can be many justifications for Bitcoinica's value, but all of them are against my intuition and values.
With the confidence and the innate intuition to build wonderful things for a better world, I decided to move on. I didn't quit Bitcoinica because it's the only source of income that I currently have.
I know that my time is valuable and industry establishment is really important. I don't want my name to be remembered by only Bitcoiners. It's true that I believe in Bitcoin's potential, but not everyone believes. If I'm a influential person I wouldn't have to do this, but the best way to be known in the Internet industry is to build products that save people time, money and headaches.
I'm going to be a young entrepreneur that solves problems for everyone. I leave Bitcoin only because it doesn't help address my real needs. Making money isn't that important after all.

I always do everything online for I can support my kids, I give much of my time and effort in doing bounty and signature campaigns but until now I have not own at least 1 bitcoin, but I am still happy at least I have earned for what I have done. You are free to make your own choice and it's up to you what it is gonna be. You just have to be firm and stand whatever the result may be. If you really want to leave bitcoin then you must do it without hesitation. We may have a different perspective but I will support you no matter what just do what you want. |

Well done to Kenya, anyone here tried that machine? I'll admit I was sceptical about these ATMs. Chiefly because of the high fees, and the fact you've to go out in public to buy them. Still not sure I like the idea of buying Bitcoin out in the open (never tried it myself). Also not sure where the appeal is coming from when it seems far easier/safer/cheaper to buy p2p.
But with the numbers of them growing all over the world, and in some of the weirdest places, I suppose they're making money after all. The two that opened in my country in 2014 eventually closed down and were never replaced. Maybe the world is finally ready for them.
Wow that was a great milestone and I felt proud for Kenya. It was a well done job and I'm hoping that it could be the start of new dynasty for bitcoin. Bitcoin can definitely help in terms of international trade.
Whether that be between company and company trading, or individuals accessing goods and services from other countries. I think that bitcoin will serve a really important purpose in aiding the transactions in both scenarios, imho.
Traditional international pamyent methods used in internationl business/trade involve long clearing times (you would know if you ever used SWIFT), and huge fees that are paid to banks.
Bitcoin takes out both. Transactions are instant, and there is no foreign exchange fees or percentage fees involved. All there is is a small transaction fee, whatever the amount is. That is far greater and will defintely benefit businesses or even consumers who adopt BTC as a international form of payment for commercial activities.

if you storetourbitcoin in any walletsthat uses privatekey or any password type it in your memo or print it so you cant forget about your key and make sure no one cant access your password so that your bitcoin is safe from scammers Well sad to say that could be a devastating experience for someone. You have well spoken OP. Panic selling has nothing good to offer. Anybody that panic sell ends up facing losses, except you need to cashout due to some purpose or one being broke. Hackers can access accounts on all websites if the account has a simple password or have low security. So that recent trading floor of Korea was hacked and steal a lot of tokens by hackers
The wallets that is storing the coins can be also hacked. Even if you have chosen a strong password you are still not safe. This has happened several times. Sad to say but hackers are all over this community so our safety depends upon our own usage. We must be sure that we are aware of what we are dealing to this kind of trouble. Safety will always be on our hand so make sure that you will use your account privately. We must not give hackers the power to do their job. |

You made a comparison to a two chart with similar price drop but different time frame? everybody can make an assumption in Bitcoin charts though but I'm not against with you. For now, I see no reason for Bitcoin's price to pump up but at the same time to go down either, what's happening right now is a corrections to the massive increased in December last year. No matter how professional you are when it comes to cryptocurrency's market you are nothing  . Looking back at history it is clearly that we've seen it before and it's not new to us. Despite the struggle and trouble that bitcoin is having right now there still hope because I know that it will be able to overcome this kind of situation. Just like in the past bitcoin had shown us its ability to rise up from its fall so there's nothing to worry about the current problem.
