1201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Sells or Buy influence the market value ? on: July 23, 2023, 11:40:36 PM
So now a question arasie in my mind that how this proccess manupulate  the market. I wanna know some details from you guys.

Can you rephrase your question? What do you mean by 'manipulate' in this case? They sell the BTC on the open markets hence there's downward selling pressure. What more do you want to know?
I think he is referring to whale manipulation instances such as the actual scenario. Indeed, with the basic law of demand,  selling activities are a sign of a decline which means the market valus is more likely to decrease as well. But that's not how things work easily. Indeed a huge sell would move the price but it depends into the majority whether they would follow the price action instantly. This is visible with candle sticks in price charts. If there is a sudden long candle out of greens, then a huge amount was sold. But as I've said, it could easily be put into the reversal if majority says so. And with the given instance, he referred to the government selling such thing which may trigger a domino effect especially if it would be announced to the public.
1202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the largest meme coin ever? on: July 23, 2023, 05:43:50 PM
Dogecoin is the first meme coin.

Shiba Inu is copycat from Dogecoin.

Floki, Babydogecoin, and Mona are copycat from Shiba Inu.

Just a little bit correction on this timeline. Mona(the original Mona coin https://monacoin.org/) is almost same age to Dogecoin. They exist with short gap during the time when meme coin still not categorized as meme coin but payment coin.

Monacoin is much older than Shiba Inu and its completely different meme since it's base on ASCII art Mona https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shift_JIS_art#/media/File:Mona01.svg. I remember this token become popular here in the forum especially on collectible section.
Precisely, but bottomline is how will you define "largest", is it on daily volume, network, etc. Memecoins are still a good coin and the only problem is its utility which lcks as well to sustain its market value for a longer period of time unlike with major coins in this industry.

Is it okay to invest? Yes ofcourse, as long as there is a demand. But with long term holding, I doubt. I personally swing trade meme coins and it is blurry to see its price to be back on its highest 'coz most of its price increase happened due to whale manipulation.
1203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons to be attracted to Bitcoin on: July 23, 2023, 04:08:57 PM
Currently, there are more than 1000 cryptocurrencies in operation around the world. However, Bitcoin is the most popular in the exchange.Created by Satoshu Nakamoto, Bitcoin has a current market capitalization of several hundreds of billions of dollars.

The main reason why most people are attracted to Eptocurrency is that it offers huge profits with low investment.Again, if its value suddenly decreases, there is a possibility of loss.
Are you even sure of those statements? Huge profit with low investment? Really? Those are only possible with alts puming out of nowhere. We won't often see a huge market price movement with Bitcoin and other large cryptos simply because there market prices have established buyer and seller zone already. Unlike with some altcoins wherein ceilings and floors aren't yet established which is why price movements are abnormal which generates huge profit if you'd be able to pick the right one. To put it simply, price actions in BTC is slower than with smaller token prices in this industry.
1204  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think selling your property is better than taking loan? on: July 22, 2023, 11:54:18 PM
Depends on circumstances.
If the property that you would be selling is a property not being used anymore then that would be a better thing to do but if it is  then you should be using the money from it on something which qould be profitable or more useful. With regards on taking a loan I guess it depends on urgency and utility of where would it be spent simply because this is a borrowed money. If it will just be spent on "want" then you are simply giving yourself a headache. But between the two? Taking a loan would be better for sure in most instances. A property's value especially if it is a land property would increaase in years.
1205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SCAM or not ? on: July 22, 2023, 11:34:07 PM
If you feel suspiscious of something then avoid engaging into it. Investment already has risk therefore you shouldn't be dealing with platforms giving you doubts already. Since you are in this industry already, there are other projects to invest but if you are not knowledgeable enough with most of the things, there are established tokens to choose from in order to lessen your worries.
I met someone on internet who suggested that I invest in a crypto trading platform that I didn't know about.
100% red flag. No matter how friendly and how pretty her profile image is just ignore it. An unknown exchange is another red flag. By the looks of it seems like you still deposit and will end up regretting it. If you know how binance basic exchange process and withdrawal works, then that's how a legit exchange works. An exchange that ask more deposit so you can withdraw the balance is pure scam, remember it.
Well there are instances as well that suggestions are good but yes  an unknown exchanger is risky. It may not be a scam but if the exchanger won't be trusted by investors and users, then eventually it will more likely fall along with your invested fund.
1206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pros and Cons of Crypto vs. Traditional Gambling on: July 22, 2023, 10:57:19 PM
Mode of payment, taxation, and accessibility are the three distinguishing factors which are obvious between traditional gambling platform and Cryptogambling platform. Taxes are the main thing I see as a pro for crypto gambling platforms; winning bigtime won't be taxed in an instant. When it comes on accessibility, this is the downside for web 3.0 wherein there are instances minors are able to play and gamble freely. Last is with mode of pyment, wherein I could say withdrawal & deposit are faster with cryptogambling sites. You could choose between the two category on where you would engage yourself with, depending on your convenience.
1207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Return Hardware Wallet That Contains 3+ BTC in a Hotel Room? on: July 21, 2023, 06:27:22 PM
I'd probably do if it would be surrendered to the rightful owner. One reason is, I cannot imagine myself being in such situation, having to lost such amount. I don't have that much of wealth but I just cannot do such thing. But I am not judging those who would be honest to say that they won't; we all have different principles in life, that is you and this is I. Problem is knowing who's the real owner right? Others would say "you are just saying that but the thing you will do is diffirent...." Who knows ourselves more? I just prefer earning things thru legitinate effort and not by such thing
1208  Economy / Economics / Re: What are some financial secrets that you know of? on: July 21, 2023, 05:44:00 PM
Grab every opportunity  but wisely; always manage the risk and never disregard the downside of it. Well, as others have mentioned there's no sich thing as a secret formula or what not to get rich. But if we would observe, rich ones are those who takes risk. Well you could have a sustainable life with a decent job but if you want more, go with investments and/or sales industry. Competition is big but that is what making it a career to be bigger in the future. This technology as an investment would be a good option as well, so it just depends on what you can handle. Also, know your capabilities, circumstances, and will.

Where could I store my assets in an emergency if there are no more bitcoins?

And you think if there's no bitcoin other coin would survive??
I can say with all assurance that if there's no bitcoin today all other altcoin will fold up by dumping 99 percentage.
This is a 50-50 possibility. It just so happened that Bitcoin is the first one but that does not guarantee that this industry won't exist without it. And if we would base on the present, with the same condition, as long as there are no restrictions on the usage of this technology, I think people would move to other cryptos. Not unless the cause of this instance is issue directly to Bitcoin 'coz it would affect the demand as well towards other cryptocurrencies.

As we all know Ethereum is next to Bitcoin when it comes to the size of network. So more likely it would be the alternative to Bitcoin investment if you are looking for one.
1210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: $1,080 Billion powerball lotto winner in the USA on: July 21, 2023, 04:39:21 PM
anyway, it still really surprises me that if the winner decides to take the prize in one lump sum, they will only get half of the total price because of the taxes that will be taken out.
The half of the total price money that she will receive is still very good and enough to get her a better life and change her life for good if it is not wasted and squandered on liabilities. Even the price money for the mart where the ticket was sold is a good amount for the owners to improve and take their business to the next level. Watching the video and getting more information about the lotto, I like that there is a percentage from the sale of every ticket that is donated to public education, it gives the lotto a little more meaning to me. For the Lady that won, she is extremely lucky.
Well, taxes in some countries are just too high not to mention gambling restrictions and regulation. Accepting half of it will indeed be good but to think of how huge would be deducted on your toal winning is just sad. But yes, it would be better to just be grateful. On the other hand  it won't happen on a daily basis and not once to everyone. Best thing is to think of a way to not use it on things which would consume all of the won prize. A business or investment would be a good choice but best thing to do is to consult a financial advisor in order to put things right. Such thing is also hard to earn in web3 platforms 'coz there are more players on land based lotteries which makes the prize pool bigger.
1211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble because you don't have sufficient money? on: July 21, 2023, 03:53:55 PM
I'd say there are instances that people gamble because they are in need of money. Indeed it is ironic but that's how frustration works for us humans. We tend to embrqce risk to have something despite of the possibility of losing what's left with us. It is not financially advisable to do so but for sure they are doing it for a reason even if it is not morally valid; that simply makes gambling, "gambling". But what about those people who have sufficient money? Why do they gamble in the first place? It is now because of the drive to have more than what they already have as a form of entertainment. Unfortunately, there are instances that gambling pulls them down to nothing.
1212  Economy / Economics / Re: Building a prosperous business on: July 20, 2023, 05:44:42 PM
With reagrds to quitting your job; it would be fine as long as you can sustain your daily expenses using your savings. You may create a period perhaps 12 months of your monthly salary should be the amount of your savings before you do so. One reason or advantage of quitting your job is to be able to focus to your business. No successful business have been taken lightly especially on its early stage. You need to build it foundation which is why you need to exert 100% of your effort into it. Sometimes it would work having a job and a business at the same time but expect that you would be spending more given that you'd be hiring someone to do it for yoy, or simply choose to embraace burnout by pushing too much of your daily energy;you decide.
1213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Days you need to work your ass at minimum wage for a BTC, by country on: July 20, 2023, 05:19:19 PM
Not necessarily on Bitcoin alone but to any kind of investment. But it won't only be achieved in such way, you could do alternative such as saving or not spending on all of your wants except for the things you need to make a living. In such way you'd have the capacity to invest to anything that you want. You may choose this industry or even landbased investments. Why? Would you be wanting to work until your retirement? 'coz if you are wanting more you should be investing already at the early age for you to harvest once the right time comes. Try asking your older circles and they would be saying the same thing for sure.
1214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Stop Gambling Even If You're Doing Great If This Happens To You on: July 20, 2023, 04:43:21 PM
I'd quit then. You have the word "amount I cannot win in gambling", ofcourse I'd go for that. What's even the single reason why we gamble? That is to earn huge amount of money so if there it is already , then what for? Some would say the money will just be spent until it drops to zero. Why would you be doing that in the first place? If you have enough money then you can hire someone to manage it for you. You have enough money to sue him/her if he /she ever steal from you. Or simply invest into something profitable and with less risk than gambling. There are ways to do so. And if you still cannot see this possible, you'd be wrong for it. Be practical.
1215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you quit that's when you lose! on: July 20, 2023, 04:16:57 PM
For me, this works only with investments and not with gambling. In gambling it is a matter of which would be gone first; you money in the pocket or your chance of winning. Indeed there will be that idea or a tendency to win back your losses on a single bet but question is when would that come into reality? Would you be still having enough money to reach that reality? Sometimes it is fine giving up and it is not something to be afraid of especially if you have no assurance of the outcome. Forcing your luck into something is a punch to the moon. Always manage the risk as much as possible.
1216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do anyone have done this? with gambling platforms on: July 20, 2023, 03:27:46 PM

anyone deposited very less amount and luckily won a big jackpot like a 100x or 500x or 1000x of base bet and withdrawn without kyc or without facing any problem from the platform?

if yes, how much was that amount? and what was the exchange?

i seen many people complaining about they don't give big wins easily or just don't give by making unanswerable queries like very hard KYC, freezing accounts, etc. this problem is very common with trusted casino's also/

do anyone withdrawn successfully the winning amount and if yes what was the process, it was seamless or you need to pass a hard kyc?
This is possible. But regarding Kyc procedures in withdrawal, you have to start with a gambling site that does not imply such feature and push your luck into it. Problem is, the instance of winning such huge amount is uncertain. This would be made possible if you are playing only with platforms having no kyc procedures until you did such thing. With regards to freezing and holding of funds, we cannot help but comply on that one 'coz it is being done to avoid issues such as money laundering.  On my case, I am fine with Kyc compliance 'coz I'm confident with the platform I am engaging myself into.
1217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Farmer's Bitcoin Investment on: July 19, 2023, 06:08:35 PM
In real life I am a farmer.  Working all day in the farm. My uncle was also a farmer. He came to know about Bitcoin from his friend around 2019. His friend told him that Bitcoin can earn money.  So he expressed interest to know more about bitcoin, his friend told him details about bitcoin. His friend also told that there can be profit or loss in bitcoin investment. After knowing all the content, he kept some money from his savings and invested the rest in bitcoin. Then around 2021 he earned a good amount of money from Bitcoin. With the earned money he bought land in his area. His success made all the farmers in our area interested in Bitcoin investment. With the help of my college teacher, all the farmers in the area formed a cooperative society. And  Slowly save money. Then invest that money in Bitcoin. I am one of them.

Bitcoin may be worth 100k$ around 2025. Then maybe we can earn from Bitcoin.  And we can go further in agricultural development.
Well, this is a good idea which is to engage with other field of investment. But what makes this wrong is the impression that "Bitcoin can earn money". Indeed it is a profitable asset to have but always be mindful of the risk. We all do have positive assumptions on its market value but those are just mere speculations. No one knows what could happen in the future and no one will, unless it happen on the actual. Based on this story, there could be people to go all out with their savings which should not be tolerated. Larger investment yields to bigger profit but will also expose you to higher risk; keep this in mind.
1218  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Rise of Crypto Gambling: What You Need to Know on: July 19, 2023, 05:30:52 PM
Crypto gambling or web 3.0 casinos are a new thing in gambling industry, in general. Indeed it is something which shows quite of an advancement in this industry but we, in this industry, have known such thing for years. It's biggest advantage over traditional gambling platforms is being safe from taxation given that withdrawals and deposits would be done through blockchain but other than that is exposing bigger risk. You are not only at risk for gambling but also with market price changes, therefore not all things are in a positive direction with web 3.0. Gas fees are sometimes high as well. With regards to privacy, KYC is also being implied to many crypto gambling site, so what's your take? Is it still a pro or not?
1219  Economy / Gambling / Re: How much time for a Duelbits withdrawal? Been 24h+ on: July 19, 2023, 04:44:58 PM
As per Duelbit:
Quote
For withdrawals, Duelbits sends them instantly unless they are flagged for manual review by our regulatory requirements. Withdrawals that are flagged for manual review are typically reviewed within 1 hour but may take up to 12 hours.

Source

Did you contact support? If not then contact them to find out why it is taking so much time. I feel your withdrawal has been flagged as the winning amount is big.
Best way indeed is to communicate with their support team regarding this but I expect that he did before creating this post. This might be his frustration toward what happened into his winnings. But as we all know there's a thorough reason for this. My assumptions are wrong receipent address, stuck or traffic on the blockchain or this is just another acuse towards the gambling site. There's no proof in the first place which puts this claim questionable. Withdrawals should be in an instant if nothing wrong would happen. Not to side with the gmbling site but for sure they won't be foolish enough to throw their reputation just for this amount. I hope they'd be herd as well in this instance.
1220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Anthony Joshua vs Dillian Whyte II on: July 19, 2023, 04:20:55 PM
They have fought twice already with amature and pro matches, and both of them are knockout experts. As we all know, these two came from a loss on their previous fight but that won't be the bottomline. Both fighters have known each other and their fighting styles which for sure could be the factor to come whoever wins this match. A 2-2 and a 3-3 on there previous matches while they're 1:1 on their previous two fights making this match the tie breaker. I'd be betting that Whyte is more eager to pull this one up. He's a more experienced fighter over Joshua. However, I won't underestimate Joshua's KO rate which should be a threat to white. Will definitely be exciting to watch.
