I think it is still early to bet on Champions League matches from this round. I'm speaking for myself at least because there are still so many teams that I don't have any idea about. There has been a big downgrade in Monaco's performance in the league for the last two years. They finished the 2021/22 season in 3rd place but they finished as 6th last season. Roma have a good potential with Mourinho in fact. They have been doing well in European competitions so far. Manchester City have finally achieved their first ever Champions League title. Guardiola's system has finally worked out and and brought the title to them. However we are just starting. Now the question is whether they can maintain the same effort next season also. Truthfully they don't need to make many any change in their lineup that's for sure.

Because they already have a great starting eleven. Now they are just looking for making the squad depth reach a higher level not to have problems about player choices.

If Manchester United and PSG enter the race at the same time I don't know whether Manchester United can be the winner. They have an advantage of providing more playing time to him though. We don't know if he will be in PSG starting eleven regularly.

Yes, the reason is said to be his high salary. His current salary is 22 million euros per year. Truthfully this is a really huge amount of money for a player who they don't get a big efficiency from. But due to his salary I don't think he would find a European team for himself that easy. Most of them would be cautious about signing him.

Gianluca Scamacca doesn't seem to have adapted to English football very well. As he was going to join West Ham from Sassuolo he must have accepted the deal for a new adventure. Otherwise if he was playing for one of the biggest Italian teams I don't think we would have seen him in the English Premier League playing for an average team like West Ham.

Scamacca is a really talented striker and it looks like he gives green light to return there later. I have read that he is willing to join Roma as Jose Mourinho is someone who he would really like to work with. But there are quite many strikers in the team now. Therefore I don't know if Roma would like to sign him now unless they open a space.

I understand you about your point of view. It has truth in it also because we really need a long time period to announce a manager like one of the bests or so. However he is still technically very successful. Even though he didn't have long years at Real Madrid as a manager he still used this time period very effectively and won 3 Champions League titles in a row.

I don't believe this is a job that anyone can do although the team we are talking about is Real Madrid. This is a high level consistency and Ancelotti couldn't do the same so far.
