I think that the Turkish Cup is actually more important now compared to before. Because the Super League isn't as prestigious as before anymore. No team can qualify for the Europa League by finishing the season at any position in the Super League standings. But the Turkish Cup winner still goes to the Europa League if I'm not wrong about it. This is why this cup is more crucial for the teams except the Super League champion.

Fenerbahce had better focus on their work in the Turkish Cup. Maybe they have got close to the leader Galatasaray a lot but they are still the second-placed team. They can't leave their job to chance in the end. This 0-0 draw against Sivasspor isn't bad. I expect Fenerbahce to finish it in the rematch. I expect them to win the cup also to save a spot in the Europa League at worst. Because Galatasaray are still the biggest candidate for the Super League title now.

I just don't understand Milan and Roma recently. Neither of them is playing like they really want to finish the season in top four this season. I assume Milan don't think of their chance as quite much in the Champions League to go for title. It would be too optimistic to think that they can eliminate Manchester City or Real Madrid in the finale even if they get past Inter in the semi finals.

Then what do they have in their minds now? This performance isn't good enough to secure themselves a place in top four now. They were actually good against Cremonese in the first half but they couldn't score a goal. They had a disallowed goal also. Cremonese's scoring first just made things worse later.

Roma also should have won today. Because they were playing against an aimless team like Monza. But they can't even win this game. I don't think Mourinho would be permanent here if Roma don't qualify for the Champions League now.

By the way we have another race weekend ahead of us in Miami. Temperatures would be really high here I guess so the teams had better be well-prepared for the track conditions. I think the difference between Red Bull and Ferrari can be even bigger here. Because Ferrari still can't do a very good job with tyre saving in harder conditions. Red Bull are like the opposite of them and they are actually the best team about that. I don't feel like we will see any other driver from a different team can make difficulties for either Verstappen or Perez here.

Perez is really dedicated right now so I will be expecting him to fight hard against Verstappen in this race also. If he can capture an advantage like he got in the Azerbaijan GP then he can even take the lead in the championship from Verstappen by the end of this race. 

I have seen a video explaining the current difference between Ferrari and Red Bull cars this season. It is explained like Red Bull have a car which is faster than their opponent at fast turns. But it is the opposite at slow ones. The Azerbaijan GP track was used as a reference to this but it is the case for the general of the season actually. Moreover Red Bull still can make up for their slow side by being faster than Ferrari on straights.

Ferrari need to bring a huge update package to their car to make their drivers be able to compete for wins. Otherwise they will continue to watch Verstappen and Perez from a long distance in every race. Leclerc was so desperate in the last race for example. Even after safety car Leclerc couldn't benefit from the advantage for a long time. This must be really annoying for him as Ferrari still can't make a competitive car for winning championships.

If you are curious about the odds I can give you information about that. Currently Inter's title chance is @7.50 and Milan's is @9.50. If you are wondering what the odds are for the first leg:

Milan: 2.72     Draw: 3.00     Inter: 2.90

Milan are seen as the underdog in general. But I don't see the situation in that way. Milan have done a pretty impressive work in the previous round by eliminating a dominant Napoli. This reminded me of the good old Chelsea.    You must be remembering how good they defended their opponents and even made it to the Champions Leageue title with Tuchel's management. I don't say that Milan can also win the title of course. But they can at least eliminate Inter as I expect a competitive matchup.

MSI tournament has started. The most impressive matchup was between G2 Esports and LOUD in my opinion. I was able to watch the first match of the series. The beginning of that match was pretty surprising. Because LOUD's jungler Croc forgot to buy a starting item and he realized it after smiting his red buff.    The first moments of the match were a little balanced but later on G2 Esports started to outweigh their opponent as I expected. Jinx is such a late-game champ really as she can be a game changer.

The tournament will go on with Movistar R7 - Bilibili Gaming and GAM Esports - Golden Guardians matchups tomorrow.

In the summer Messi is quite likely to leave PSG you know. He still doesn't want to extend his contract with the team and this has created some disturbance among their supporters also. I remember them booing Messi in a league match some time ago also. But I don't think Messi cares about this situation at all. He just looks like he is looking for another opportunity to play for Barcelona before his retirement.

I understand him of course as he has played for Barcelona all the time before joining PSG. There were financial issues back then which prevented Messi from signing a new contract. I wonder whether this time Barcelona can sign him by not having issues with financial fairplay in the La Liga too. Xavi looks like he would love to see him back. If this doesn't happen then I think he would sign a one-year contract with PSG and move on.

I don't think he will feel like it is time for him to leave Europe this summer.

Casemiro's possible leave from Manchester United has been rumoured a lot recently. Now his name is called with Bayern Munich. However I don't think Manchester United should let him go that easy. Because Casemiro has strengthened the line between the defense and midfield incredibly much for Manchester United. In his absence the weaknesses start to be quite visible in this area.

Manchester United should focus on keeping their most valuable players instead of selling them in the summer. Because their main goal is to make this team return to their old days again by entering the title race in the English Premier League. I think they should keep Casemiro and make a top striker addition to the team like Harry Kane. In this way they can be very competitive for the league title and they can have a successful run in the Champions League also.

When it comes to Mourinho he has made a good progress with the team compared to last season. Now they are a serious contender for top four in the Serie A which is a crucial area to join the Champions League. Their effort in the Europa League until now has also been impressive. Even in the times they had big issues they still found a way out of it. For example Dybala saved the team from being eliminated by Feyenoord and they didn't even let the match end by penalties after that.

This might be Mourinho's last season with Roma also maybe. Because his name has also been called with the coach position at Chelsea. You know that they will be in search of a permanent manager as Lampard has been brought temporarily. But if Chelsea choose another candidate Mourinho would be likely to stay for continuing to do his best for Roma. If they win the Europa League title this season then fans wouldn't like to let him go easily too I guess.

Tottenham are still the same. The exact same defensive issues were still going on and Liverpool made a wonderful start to the match. That start reminded me of Tottenham's match against Newcastle a short time ago. I started to think like Liverpool would also get a similar big win to that after seeing it became 3-0 very quickly. Tottenham defenders had big problems on marking their opponents. For example two players went for the same opponent before the first goal and it was easy for Jones to finish it.

However Liverpool also weren't good at defending today. Especially Robertson was a big disappointment as he caused his team to concede 2 goals. It was an epic moment that we saw in the last moments of the match. Right after Richarlison scored the equalizer Liverpool scored the winner in less than a minute. It was Moura's fault of course but this was one of the rare endings we see in such big matches.

Tottenham still can't wake up from this bad dream and they can even lose their chance for all the spots in European tournaments for next season.

What do you think about Belgium? I think they wasted a really bright generation due to personal issues among the players. It was like there wasn't any player who doesn't have any issue with some other Belgian player. They couldn't go beyond the quarter finals of Euro 2020 and they couldn't even advanced from the group stage of the last World Cup due to poor performances.

Now they are trying to start off with a clean slate with the same players. They have made a solid start to the Euro 2024 Qualifiers by a 3-0 win over Sweden away. Lukaku even made a hat-trick back then. Their group isn't that hard either - Austria, Sweden, Estonia and Azerbaijan. They can join the main tournament by finishing this group as the leader. While they have great talents like De Bruyne I hope they can be competitive for a Euro title once again.

First of all I must admit a fact that VAR technology has dropped the number of mistakes to a much lower level compared to the past. Because before this technology we have all witnessed referees making unbelievable mistakes so many times. Maybe it was many years ago but I still don't forget a very clear goal not being counted in a World Cup match despite the ball's passing the goal line clearly.

However VAR usage is still not very efficient nowadays indeed. Sometimes I even see referees not even checking VAR although there is most probably a mistake in their decision. Maybe it is due to VAR referees' not doing their job nicely in those times I don't know. I don't want to tag those matches as "fixed" directly of course. But I also agree that this situation can be bettered.

Galatasaray are very likely to become the champions for now and the result they will get against Besiktas is going to be really important on this road. If they don't let Fenerbahce get closer to themselves then I think it is over for Fenerbahce about their title chase. Galatasaray have built a really solid squad so far too. It is like a preparation phase for the Champions League.

However there is a big question mark here. Will they be able to keep Icardi in some way for next season? As you know he is on loan at Galatasaray. His performance level has been really high until this moment. This must have impressed PSG officials a lot also. They might demand an amount near €20m maybe for his transfer fee. Do Galatasaray have the funds to meet their demands? They had better raise funds somehow if they don't.

Currently Icardi is their biggest goal source as you have seen so far.

The current odds for winning the Europa League title for Leverkusen and Roma are like in the image above. We can obviously say that Leverkusen are favoured by bookmakers to get past Roma in this round. But the odd margin isn't that big at all of course. It can't be either because both of these teams have been impressive until this point. Besides both of them are doing pretty well in their domestic leagues these days.

But I must admit one thing that Leverkusen have been playing really effectively since Xabi Alonso's starting to manage them. Xabi Alonso doesn't even have a proper experience as a manager apart from the one he is having now. But he made a great start to his career and this performance will surely attract other teams' attention. I will be expecting a very competitive draw in this round. Leverkusen's chance for making it to the Champions League isn't as big as Roma considering the domestic leagues.

Therefore Roma had better be ready against a really tough competition.

Ama şöyle de bir gerçek var ki Süper Lig'de belirli bir noktaya kadar kendini geliştirebilir. Daha büyük bir lige gidip forma şansı bulabilirse ulaşabileceği seviye çok daha yukarda olacaktır.

I believe that Terzic should continue with Dortmund no matter if they win the Bundesliga championship or not this season. Because I really like this Dortmund in the current season. Truthfully I was one of the people who were expecting Dortmund to lose a lot of power by Haaland's departure. They brought fresh bloods to the attacking area like Adeyemi of course but there was still some doubt inside me.

They aren't much close to the number of goals they scored in the league last season maybe but they are playing more efficiently now. Despite scoring much less goals than Bayern Munich they are in the lead. Bayern Munich's being inconsistent also helped them but the most important point is that Dortmund haven't given up early in the season. If they win the title also then I will be very confident about Terzic to stay for a long time around here.

However there is a chance of losing another crucial player like Bellingham so I'm curious about what actions they will take in that case to keep the team balanced.

Tottenham defense is just weak now. Their defense can so be broken so easily that I think they need some change in their formation first. It might be better for them to play with 4 defenders instead of 3 in my opinion. I know they want to play more aggressive but this doesn't work for them obviously. Or they can try to make some changes in the defense line by making new transfers to the area.

I'm pretty confident Tottenham can find better centre-backs there. They can try out both formula to see which one of them helps them more. One thing seems certain that they really need some change. If Manchester United open the gap by making it 2-0 then I don't feel like Tottenham can make a comeback in that anymore. Tottenham just don't seem to be that strong mentally also.

When do I need to send my address to get a prize? Because it looks like this special performance deserves a prize. 

The Champions League pool has been going on in the most terrible way for me.    I even missed many picks recently but even if I made them it doesn't look like anything would have still changed. But it has still been a fun pool and it has been nice for me to spend some good time here. I will try not to miss the remaining picks for the rounds left hopefully. It is better to follow the matches when you make a score prediction about them or make some other bets on them.
