1221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] YOVI - YobitVirtualCoin - 5% POS [ROM] on: January 28, 2017, 11:02:40 PM
Sold another 3 yovis for 0.019 again today. The market is rising a bit fast these days unlike the few months. I only have 129 yovis left to go with 2 orders at 0.008+ btc each. Hope it'll be sold again soon.  Cheesy I'll be rich if this will all be sold if the market continues. lol.

Can i know where are you selling the coins as i am seeing that we cannot sell the YOVI coin in the yobit exchange and they have mentioned in the selling side as RISE ONLY MARKET and have seen lot of users crying after buying not able to sell the YOVI coins

I bought many YOVI coin and CANNOT deposit them back into yobit anymore, i withdrew to put in wallet and stake but now... im fcked i guess

Ya same shit happened to me, I transferred my coin for staking to desktop wallet and now I can't move them back but luckily enough I kept about 300 of them on their site

deposit yovi in yobit is not available
I dont know why yobit is not open to deposit yovi in exchanges them
yovi disabled wallet for deposit when another exchange added yovi for trading. not sure what exchange it was.  wallet does wrk, just opened mine and earned a chunk staking

As per my knowledge Novaexchange or Cryptopia.cp.nz  between this two exchanges only one of the exchange have listed the yovi coin but they have delisted the coin so i think yobit should start back the deposit option.

But it is really strange option in trading this ROM coin. Thank god i though to buy it but suddenly i enquired about this coin in the yobit chat and one of the user alerted me of all this trading problem and i got saved
1222  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Can companies that produce mining equipment use devices? on: January 28, 2017, 10:32:17 PM
I think there are companies doing this, after all, they can in that way make a significant profit, and then sell the equipment when they realize that the difficulty of mining is about to increase. I think the best way to avoid this kind of injury is to try to design your own mining equipment, I think there are only a few people with knowledge to do this, but it is possible.

As not everyone can design the mining equipment , that is why due to this reason is that they are approaching the manufacturer of the mining equipment and the manufacturer in the name of testing will first start mining the coin and after some days , they just pack it back in the box and send it to the buyer of the equipment. Because without mining they cannot find the result of the equipment
1223  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Stolen Bitfinex Coins on the Move on: January 28, 2017, 09:50:40 PM
This transparency of the open ledger has always been something that has made Bitcoin seem so very special to me. The very idea of tracking funds (and as here in the Bitfinex case: stolen funds) on a ledger that anyone in the world can see is pretty exciting.
This is not the first bitcoin exchange hack and not a single coin has been recovered till now,it is good to see people actively monitoring the wallets containing the coin, since the number of wallets are huge it is really difficult to monitor all of them and top of that the hacker must be a brilliant individual who knows how to handle these coins.

Even by doing all sorts of pretty work of hacking the wallets, but still the hacker is not able to enjoy it, it should be a long term process as now he will also be knowing that all his wallets are open to the world so any transactions to this wallets will lead him to the trouble. So it will take more years to clear it for him.

1225  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: January 28, 2017, 04:11:15 PM
the price of bitcoin always matter for the investors and for the one who plays in the market like trading and such things. we all know that the price of bitcoin is moving per minute so that price of bitcoin is a big factor for those who are investing and playing in the market such as trading bitcoins in order for them to not having a negative investment or trading.
Not just for investors, but also for miners. The difficulty of mining is constantly increasing, so that these individuals continue to support the network, a price adjustment is necessary. In addition, after each halving, there is increase in difficulty, which increases the amount of factors that causes this to happen.

Yes you are right. For each participant in the community Bitcoin price is important. That is why you need as much as possible to promote Bitcoin. After all, if more people will know about Bitcoin, it will become more expensive

What you are telling are both different things Bitcoin price is not related to More People knowing it. but the More Bitcoin shops are opened then only the Bitcoin will gain more popularity and users will come forward to know about it and use it.
1226  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin in India? Not for a LOOOOONG time. on: January 27, 2017, 11:43:26 PM
Omg I think that bitcoin is ilegall in India and that is the main reason why bitcoin isnt really popular in India but I am not sure it is better to ask google he know everyting.
What makes you think it's not popular or unknown over there? Is it because of the Original Post and the thread title?
Do keep in mind that this thread was started in 2015. Lots of things could change during that time.

As for me, I think a lot of people over there are aware of bitcoin and many more will start using it. Especially
with the recent scrapping of the 500 and 1000 rupee notes.

Apart from the fiat currency 500 and 1000 rupee note demonetization reason of people getting bitcoin, but their are so many users who are in bitcion and other crypto currency, their are so many indian exchanges where you can see lot of trade is going on daily.
1227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many total wallets have been opened? on: January 27, 2017, 10:35:53 PM
Do you know the number of wallets opened so far? Do we know the number of people using bitcoin?
Where can I get this information? Thank you.

It is very clear that we cannot find how many wallets are opened so far and how many people are using bitcoin as each transaction are having mostly unique wallet address as almost all wallets are generating new address as soon as the old address is used in any transaction. But even if you find the number of wallets opened then also you cannot find the number of peoples using bitcoin as their are users who are using multiple wallets for bitcoin.

So it is very clear that nothing can be done for your query.
1228  Other / Archival / Re: Earning "free" bitcoins on: January 27, 2017, 10:21:42 PM
so many ways to generate free bitcoin, but it requires an Internet connection. Well, faucet be an option for any beginner to get bitcoin. it is not wrong, if you're able to take advantage of it, you might be able to collect and make a lot of bitcoin by way of trading, or investment from the faucet that you collect.

Faucet sucks. I have tried couple of them when I just joined this site and with my newbie rank couldn't join any campaign. And for week on faucets I make just 2$, with current price for bitcoin it's like 4$. Nosi make the same money with couple comments for some minutes.

This is true what you said, but even some of them are earning very good through faucet but that is due to good referral followers because in faucet through referral only you can earn good. In this forum you can earn through lot of way , just you have to find your way and start earning and now when the price of bitcoin is high so it is very hard to find lot of work as their are so many users who are ready to do all work immediately so you have to be fast.
1229  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest your bitcoins. on: January 27, 2017, 10:16:14 PM
The options given by OP is really better because quite a number of people will really benefit from it including me as I also want to invest but the issue us know the right source to do the investment as sites on the internet have been saturated with scams endeavours.

People have made good profits from cloud mining sites in the past but things are not the same as it used to be its difficult to find any trusted or genuine site at a moment for making an investment as everyone has gone through some worst experiences in recent times as majority of them have all their money by investing in ponzi sites.
I totally agree the bitcoin cloud mining services have become a way to scam people and to take their money, they were a thing before and people were able to make profit out of it, but with the price of the bitcoin becoming high and it becoming harder to mine people got greedy and they started tricking people unto these things, and they become something that is not worth investing money or time into.

Another way we can tell that cloud mining was from starting a scam one only difference is before the bitcoin price was very low so they use to run the cloud mining for above 6+ months as their targets are achieved lately so in this six months who are invested in starting have started to earn more then their investment and who were started to invested after 4th month they before reaching their invested return they got scammed.

But now the situation is different as the users are more smart enough and they know after one two round they wont get profit and they started to scam from starting itself as the price of bitcoin is also high and if the cloud mining run for more then 1 month that is enough for them to achieve their target.

1231  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-01-25]Bitcoin trading in yuan drops as new transaction fees by exchanges on: January 27, 2017, 08:01:19 PM
Not good  Sad
What? It is exactly the oposite. It is the best news we can have. Enough of this fake margin trading with borrowed money.
It was not speculating anymore, what Chinese leverage traders used to do was pure gambling.
Now we can finally see that volume of their exachanges is not different from western markets!
I hope it will bring us era of slow price progression without occasional dramatic dumps caused by margin traders panic.

I agree with your view, now the real progress we can see , real means now the rise of bitcoin price will be solely due to its real function getting success, and slow rise is also good as now more online merchants can take bitcoin as their payment as their wont be much fluctuation in the price and stable price is good.

1233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🔴 ICOBID PLATFORM 🌟🔴 BRING GREAT IDEAS TO LIFE 🌟🔴 ALPHA VERSION RELEASED on: January 27, 2017, 04:25:51 PM
C-CEX and Yobit is not a panacea for increasing prices and trading volumes. This is the same as the novaexchange and cryptopia . A standard user needs to see the usefulness of the coin in the crypto world, or a chance to increase the price but if the coin does not represent anything good that no exchange will not help. In ICOBID still out in front, they are just starting out.

Well said, reminds me of some altcoin that was pump before it was listed to C-Cex.  I hold my coins from selling because it was going to be listed in C-Cex, I should have profited a huge some of money in there but well I waited , then come listed to C-Cex, the expected does not happen and the price continuous to decline, I should have sold during those peak lol but I waited for C-Cex thinking it will go up more, but I was wrong.  This experience clearly a proof of coins does not always increase in value when another exchange is added.
There are exceptions. For example pascalcoin on poloniex. But that's another story.
In the meantime, I got the first profit. Price grew while I was sleeping and my order is triggered. Let's do this every day! Thank you to everyone who bought my coins. Now I will buy again ICOBID price is low.

Congrats on getting full filled your order on the past pump, but if you are doing the same way of trading then i think very soon the price will be going up as i am seeing that their are more buyers and the price is moving around 30sat to 80sat range

1235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Would you open a Bitcoin account at your local bank? on: January 23, 2017, 06:47:47 PM
Yes, will open Bitcoin Account on my local Bank. Because, I can deposit my money and I will get my local currency for my need. So need a Bitcoin account on my local Bank. It's my personal opinion.

It is very easy to say yes, but do you know that opening Bitcoin Account in bank means you have to give your full details about yourself and what ever transaction you will do will be known by all of them, Then the difference between bitcoin and banking will be not same. I think you dont know fully detail about bitcoin technology.

Bitcoin wallet are itself a bank account so we dont need any bank account to safe bitcoins.

1239  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How many people exist today that fully understand the Bitcoin protocol? on: January 22, 2017, 07:09:50 PM
90% of the bitcoin users are the only users who came to bitcoin world for earning extra income by doing various tasks but still not knowing the Bitcoin technology and how it is created. for them Bitcoin is the way of earning through doing online work. And you can take me also one of them.
1240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: January 22, 2017, 06:39:11 PM
If you not ready to lose your money, then don't even try to gamble!

True, gamblers should follow that rule.
That's sad how people's lives get ruined from being greedy on gambling.

Greediness is the main reason why gamblers are gambling, if not they would have been satisfied with their work, and this greediness keeps the gambling sites profitable
