Oh great. Now the die hard Trump fans come to attack. Listen up, I desperately want some real hard proof that Donald is a good man. He went and said he's okay with objectifying women, says it's okay that Mexicans should be deported and implies Muslims are terrorists. It's like he's completely trying to justify everything that's just wrong.

He never said Mexicans should be deported, he said ILLEGAL ALIENS should be deported. Why shouldn't the USA enforce immigration law? How is that racist? If there are no limits to immigration the USA will become just as shitty as Mexico real fast. As far as Muslims being terrorists... I don't know if you got the memo, but MOST TERRORISTS ARE MUSLIM. Just pretending this is not a fact for the sake of "diversity" is beyond retarded and very dangerous. BTW, please explain to me how you provide "real hard proof" ANYONE is a good man?
WELL, I would have very much enjoyed organization websites vouching for this old grumpy man. You basically just told me all Muslims are terrorists and that all Muslims should be sent away. Are we also gonna send away black people for carrying crack and AIDS from the ghetto? Do you know who really gave black people those things?

I didn't say anything like that. You are fucking retarded.
Wow, really? I think it's seriously rude and disrespectful that you'd call me retarded. I'm not judging you in this way. You made it seem like all Muslims or all terrorists are Muslims. Why can't you just be nice to people?

No, you made it seem that way to yourself.
He said most terrorists are Muslim, implying he thinks there's that possibility of all Muslims being terrorists.

No. Only in your head. Just like saying all black people are carrying crack and AIDS from the ghetto. This is proof how racist one may be. Not you, of course....
No. No one is attacking you. You are facing something called "a different point of view". Something you may face when getting out of your bubble.

Visit us often. Your mind may expend a bit more when facing so many perspectives here across the world, cultures, etc....

Mayor Bill de Blasio jokes about ‘colored people’ time with Hillary Clinton

Twitchy  by Greg Pollowitz 11:02 pm

For the imagine if a Republican had said this file, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio joked on Friday night at an event with Hillary Clinton that the reason he didn’t endorse her sooner was because he operates on “CP time,” which is short for “colored people time”:

"Thanks for the endorsement, Bill. Took you long enough," @HillaryClinton says.

— Mara Gay (@MaraGay) April 10, 2016

De Blasio, explaining why it took so long to endorse Hillary Clinton, says he was "running on CP time." Mmmm @BilldeBlasio

— Mara Gay (@MaraGay) April 10, 2016

Urban Dictionary defines “colored people time” as “a stereotyping of African Americans/Black People as not punctual/frequently or constantly being late.”

What is wrong with him?

What's "CP time"? https://t.co/6LuHnj2zwA

— T. Becket Adams (@BecketAdams) April 10, 2016

.@BecketAdams Colored People time. It's a very commonly used phrase. Check out Kanye's "Primetime."

— Karol Markowicz (@karol) April 10, 2016

If a white Republican even thought of making a joke on 'CP time', Salon and Fusion wouldn't be able to get out a racism piece quick enough.

— Britt (@brittaufait) April 10, 2016

In college my Latina sorority made a point to be early to everything to combat stereotypes like 'CP time' that DeBlasio and Hillary joke on.

— Britt (@brittaufait) April 10, 2016

The comments came at NYC’s annual Inner Circle Show where local political journalists gather to poke fun at politicians. De Blasio ever performed a rap song with the line, “I make Bernie Sanders look like Trump. I’m down with Sandinistas and The Donald’s a chump.”

Video here from Gothamist. The joke happens at the 8:55 mark and appears to have fallen flat with the audience. Hillary Clinton finishes the joke by saying “CP time” really means “cautious politician time.” Nice try at a save Hillary, but no:

I actually can't stand Donald. When I watched an interview of him, he said how his dad gave him "a small loan of a million dollars" and I honestly wanted to choke him. I've never been more annoyed in my entire life...that is the most nonsensical comment I've ever heard. 1 million dollars is a lot of money. It's clear he wastes money if he thinks 1 million dollars is small. He would not make a great president, but he would be a fun president to watch the antics of.

Is it a waste to turn 1 million into billions?

But he probably didn't do that. And if he did, it's crap money. For example, a lot of people on YouTube make money from being aggressively annoying and provocative trolls, but does that mean they're contributing positively to society...?

 Grin

That's... priceless. The ignorance is deep.

Boston Globe will publish fake front page as part of tmws Ideas section, w fake headlines from a trump presidency https://t.co/T1x0XlAKMP

— Hadas Gold (@Hadas_Gold) April 9, 2016

What's really interesting about that fake front page is that it can be interpreted in one of two ways:

1. A bunch of outraged or scared liberals subtly egging-on their fellow to visit even more trouble for Trump;
2. A bunch of plush-pots clutching their peals and throwing a well-heeled conniption fit.

Throw the two together, and you get a picture of Boston-Globe-type liberals that are a lot like a certain kind of Tory. They not only castigate the interloper (Mr. Trump) as a wrecker, but they also subtly suggest that they'll run guard for and protect their "lower orders" if said lowers mix it up with the supporters of the interloper.

(I have an odd clip in my mind, which features a Tory toff telling a room of soccer hooligans, "'Ave at 'em, boys! I and my peers will make it clear that you are doing so for Queen and Country")

If only the image of TRUMP could help them sell more dead trees...

IT IS YOUR JOB to provide sources. Could you be anymore pathetically lazy? You don't get to come here and just tell me to google it. I am not interested in spending endless hours looking for bullshit that doesn't exist. He who claims proves, so prove it. It is not my fault if you can't follow simple instructions.

I'm good with asking for actual proof of allegations.

Seems reasonable.

You know, I am for Trump, but if one were not, there are certainly enough things one might complain about without having to lie.

Exactly. Plenty. But nothing sticks. They need to lie. Even that does not work. They need to cheat. They need to be lazy so they ask people to work for them and do research for them. Those berniebots are sad.

Again, this thread is asking for the impossible.

Obama: Clinton Was “Careless” With Emails But Didn’t Jeopardize National Security

By Daniel Politi

APRIL 10 2016 3:30 PM

President Obama sat down for the his first interview with Fox News since February 2014 and said that while Hillary Clinton may not have been as careful as she should have been with her emails, she did not harm national security while serving as secretary of State. He also “guaranteed” that politics have not and will not influence the ongoing investigation into Clinton and her use of a private email system.

"I continue to believe that she has not jeopardized America's national security," Obama said on Fox News Sunday. "What I've also said is that—and she has acknowledged—that there's a carelessness, in terms of managing emails, that she ... recognizes," he added, noting that the issue had to be seen in perspective and Clinton did an "outstanding job" as secretary of State. Obama also assured Fox News’ Chris Wallace that there would be no political influence in the investigation.

“I guarantee that there is no political influence in any investigation conducted by the Justice Department, or the FBI, not just in this case, but in any case,” Obama said. “Nobody is above the law. How many times do I have to say it?” The president did note however that there was often a problem of over-classification and there are some things classified as top secret that “is basically stuff that you could get in open-source.”

Obama also emphasized he had no intention of pulling Merrick Garland’s Supreme Court nomination. "Absolutely not," Obama said when asked whether he might consider dropping Garland’s nomination before he leaves office.

Asked about his “worst mistake” while in office, Obama said he thought it was “probably failing to plan for the day after” the intervention in Libya.

The president said that his “number one job is to protect the American people” and defended his efforts to fight terrorism. He then went on to give a long explanation on how combating terrorists involves more than just guns:

In the wake of terrorist attacks, it has been my view consistently that the job of the terrorists, in their minds, is to induce panic, induce fear, get societies to change who they are. And what I’ve tried to communicate is, “You can’t change us. You can kill some of us, but we will hunt you down, and we will get you.”
And in the meantime, just as we did in Boston, after the marathon bombing, we’re going to go to a ballgame. And do all the other things that make our life worthwhile.  … That’s the message of resilience. That we don’t panic, that we don’t fear, we will hunt you down and we will get you.

How does he know? I thought the FBI,the DOJ and the White House were separated entity... You know, to avoid the impression of a crooked regime...

If he sees himself as an tyrant then there is nothing wrong with his statement. President, judge and jury.

There was that time he told a (fictional) story about roundingup 50 Muslims... Shooting 49 of them with bullets dipped in pigs blood... Then sending the last Muslim home to report what happened... Then he said we should do that right now...

There was also the time when he claimed Mexico was sending all their rapists and murderers to America...

And when he told his supporters to put protestors in the hospital...

Is that enough, or do I need to link the videos? (I assume you are capable of finding them on your own)

Yeah... You do.

Berniebots can't comprehend a simple request like direct quotes, but want to be in charge of the number one country in the world...

Sorry, I forget Trump supporters are incapable of using google

“He took fifty bullets, and he dipped them in pig’s blood,” Trump said. “And he had his men load his rifles and he lined up the fifty people, and they shot 49 of those people. And the fiftieth person he said ‘You go back to your people and you tell them what happened.’ And for 25 years there wasn’t a problem, okay?”

1) He quotes this story as a fact from a history book... it's a false story... this never actually happened, yet Trump claims it is a true story

2) He goes on to say we should employ this tactic again

UK Equalities Chief Who Popularised The Term ‘Islamophobia’ Admits: ‘I Thought Muslims Would Blend into Britain… I Should Have Known Better’

The former head of Britain’s Equalities and Human Rights Commission (EHRC), Trevor Phillips, has admitted he “got almost everything wrong” on Muslim immigration in a damning new report on integration, segregation, and how the followers of Islam are creating “nations within nations” in the West.

Phillips, a former elected member of the Labour Party who served as the Chairman of the EHRC from 2003-2012 will present “What British Muslims Really Think” on Channel 4 on Wednesday. An ICM poll released to the Times ahead of the broadcast reveals:

    One in five Muslims in Britain never enter a non-Muslim house;
    39 per cent of Muslims, male and female, say a woman should always obey her husband;
    31 per cent of British Muslims support the right of a man to have more than one wife;
    52 per cent of Muslims did not believe that homosexuality should be legal;
    23 per cent of Muslims support the introduction of Sharia law rather than the laws laid down by parliament.

Writing in the Times on the issue, Phillips admits: “Liberal opinion in Britain has, for more than two decades, maintained that most Muslims are just like everyone else… Britain desperately wants to think of its Muslims as versions of the Great British Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussain, or the cheeky-chappie athlete Mo Farah. But thanks to the most detailed and comprehensive survey of British Muslim opinion yet conducted, we now know that just isn’t how it is.”

Phillips commissioned “the Runnymede report” into Britain and Islamophobia in 1997 which, according to both Phillips himself and academics across the country, popularised the phrase which has now become synonymous with any criticism – legitimate or not – of Islam or Muslims.

Durham University’s Anthropology Journal noted in 2007: “It has been a decade since the Commission on British Muslims and Islamophobia was established, a Commission that through its 1997 report, “Islamophobia: a challenge for us all” (“the Runnymede report”) not only raised an awareness of the growing reality of anti-Muslim and anti-Islamic hostility in Britain, but also marked the onset of what might be described as ‘the first decade of Islamophobia’. In doing so, the Runnymede report propelled the word ‘Islamophobia’ into the everyday common parlance and discourses of both the public and political spaces.”

Phillips says his new data shows “a chasm” opening between Muslims and non-Muslims on fundamental issues such as marriage, relations between men and women, schooling, freedom of expression and even the validity of violence in defence of religion. He notes – echoing an article on Breitbart London just two weeks ago which reveals a growing disparity between older and younger Muslims in Britain – that “the gaps between Muslim and non-Muslim youngsters are nearly as large as those between their elders”.

And while he is cautious to note that many Muslims in Britain are grateful to be here, and do identify with role models such as Hussain and Farah, there is a widening gap in society with many Muslims segregating themselves.

“It’s not as though we couldn’t have seen this coming. But we’ve repeatedly failed to spot the warning signs,” he admits.

“Twenty years ago… I published the report titled Islamophobia: A Challenge for Us All, we thought that the real risk of the arrival of new communities was discrimination against Muslims. Our 1996 survey of recent incidents showed that there was plenty of it around. But we got almost everything else wrong.”

Politico reports:

The main story includes mentions of an Attorney General Chris Christie, and Fox News’ Megyn Kelly tweeting from a bar because she’s been placed on a White House black list.

Other stories on the fake front page include “U.S. soldiers refuse orders to kill ISIS families” and details such as new libel laws targeting “absolute scum” in the press. Another story is about how Trump had offended the Chinese first lady by naming his new dog after her.

An editor’s note at the bottom of the page explains why the paper chose to create it.

“This is Donald Trump’s America. What you read on this page is what might happen if the GOP frontrunner can put his ideas into practice, his words into action. Many Americans might find this vision appealing, but the Globe’s editorial board finds it deeply troubling,” the editor’s note reads.

I'm okay with Megan Kelly working in a bar.

Good news for Trump, as opinion polls show a significant increase in support levels for him in two key states.

According to Fox News, Trump is leading the Pennsylvania Republican Presidential Primary with 48% of the vote. The earlier polls had his support at 37% to 39%. The same pollster put Trump's support level at 54% for the New York Republican Presidential Primary. This is very very very significant. If he gets more than 50%, he will be awarded all of the 95 delegates in NY!!!!
