NBA Draft is happening tomorrow night so get yourself up to spec with what markets to look out for and who is likely chosen to go first!
With Damon Lillard looking to leave the Portland TrailBlazers expect them to look for a player to replace him in the lineup so for the draft they will more than likely go for a point guard.

The salary cap has increased for teams for next season as well. This is the reason why I have included the statistics below just as an example of why teams are looking to offload older players even if they are franchise making ones for a new breed who are alot cheaper and can mold into what they want for their team environment.
Here is a screen capture I took of what his salary has looked like during his career.

Odds for the NBA Draft are at the following link:

Does anyone got problem with betcoin when betting esports. I just try this week and they immediately limit my betting size ( from 60$ for a game -> now is 2$ LOL) and do you guys recommend any other sportsbooks. Thanks!
This is an Esports thread dedicated to Sportsbet.io so most would say they are the recommended sportsbook to go bet on the matches you want to place bets on!
They have a wide range of different markets available and have used it for CounterStrike frequently all because they are the only site that has the markets I usually bet on for those matches.

You can check them out here and then you can make an educated decision if they are right for you needs:
https://sportsbet.io/sports/esports-betting

As for limits. I have bet over $250 on one match without such low limits you have described using them.

Good luck!

As long as you are enjoying it then I think that is good enough for me to make predictions and then win it with the same as my predictions or even close to my predictions I am happy doing it,
Yeah of course I'm enjoying it. Anyone who can't be enjoying things while on top must be some kind of weird inhuman thing.

Then again, one should also be able to enjoy being bottom, as I did in BSFL lol.

Anyway, rdbase wth haha strange that I read the news and none of them mentioned about the bird. I know they get caught in airplane engines all the time but this is first I heard it getting inside a car. They must have been flying really really low!
Yes @slaman29 is top on the leaderboard of the F1 pool for the forums so it would be very strange if he wasn't happy and enjoying himself in the slightest.
So the rest should let him talk smack if he wants too now since he has earned it.
Like a gigachad until the next race starts that is.

Hadn't heard about that bird until @owengtam09 mentioned it actually on here a day later. But apparently he was driving around with stuck inside the car since lap 11!

They even posted a picture of it after it was removed from the brake duct with the captions:

Actually lucky for me my deposit for placing that bet on PSG-LGD didn't come in before the match begun and it was already in favor of Betboom so placed a bet on them instead along with 9Pandas match happening right after. But didn't trust in them enough in the second leg of that parlay, so ended up cashing out instead with a nice bit of profit. Grin

Watching Betboom getting the upper hand on Talon so might put some money on them along with PSG-LGD for the next match.

Thanks for the congratulations @buwaytress @1miau @ILuckyGuyI @Koal-84 and of course @CLS63 for maintaining this F1 pool thread!
Only just noticed these mentions so it was nice to see them.

Austria is where Red Bull practice and take test runs on to their own home track for the off-season.
Last season Max was in a sea of orange smoke and I can't see it being any different this time around.
Just question is how far behind will Perez be from him in the front row at the start of the race?

A interesting article to see what BlackRock is trying to do with this new spot ETF arrangement that after 531 previous attempts this is the one that got approval by the SEC.

Isn't it a strange occurrence that after the regulation department has run into so many problems and the requesting to have it's head removed by force that they are finally allowing one to be open to the institutional investor?

Here is my bet on the games today.
Both series went 2-0, Talon got crushed by PSG.LGD, while Team Spirit choked their first game against BetBoom, and then in the second game BetBoom's Ember and Morph were untouchable.

Later we'll see both teams with a 4-0 record face each other and I have to side with the bookies as PSG.LGD is the slightly better team so far because they're more flexible with their drafts despite having the same record. These past series BetBoom thrived on picking Doom offlane multiple times and then there's PSG.LGD winning with completely different lineups.

Bet on the draw yesterday for the PSG-LGD vs Talon match but the team from China was just too strong and 2-0 them easily it seemed.
Liking the odds as they are just so juicy and also managed to get them even higher @1.74x.

I will take your advice and go for a PSG-LGD victory in today's match up against BetBoom.
Which according to this match breakdown, BB-Execration shouldn't even be there due to visa issues with the standard BetBoom squad:

Never really into the women's side of sports but I can adjust to it just like I have at tennis with preferring to betting on the WTA compared to the ATP.
Not too familiar with the teams and definitely not the players but after a few games I am bound to pick up on it.

Does anyone think there will be a special bet available towards the NBA draft for this coming Thursday?
What I recall there was a competition for 6-3 Free last year or a type of multimaster competition on the site under Sportsbet Specials.
Been through so many sporting events since then and they have had so many competitions it is hard to remember actually.

Well, it is still basketball the only thing that change is their gender but yeah it is not the same as the NBA, but the action is real and I really think that Women deserve something aswell and their own Basketball League and this is to support the women's that had a dream of becoming a professional basketball player for the NBA but surely the NBA is just for the boys and so WNBA is a thing for them, but surely the WNBA doesn't have many sponsors not like the NBA, and I wish that Sportsbook can also give the WNBA their credit time in getting the best early because it is always late,

Not sure if there would be a special draft bet on Sportsbet, but if there is I think I will likely share it here, right now the 4 - 3 - Free for Sportsbet was all about ENGLAND - HAITI (WOMEN'S WORLD CUP) while the Bet for Free-6-6! was about WOMEN'S WORLD CUP (GROUP STAGE) I really don't know on Thursday if there would be

The casino is all likely the promotion for  Sportsbet they have a daily tournament about it,

Yes, hah! Saw these available for the 4-3-free and for the 6-6 available 32 days out aswell.
It is slim pickings when it comes major sports for the next few months until the summer break is over for these athletes.
Hell! Even Counterstrike for eSports have already done for the summer a week ago and no majors until September and October.
Only minor teams and tier 2 squads are playing for basically ranking up with little to no prize money in the tournaments they are in.

Was betting on the European Qualifers but Croatia didn't beat Spain as it went to penalties. Disappointed there wasn't one goal scored during the match.

For that NBA fix atleast we have the draft to look forward happening in the next few days. So there is that. Cheesy

Did you see the video of Max Verstappen hitting a bird, imagine hitting a bird and he feels sorry about his mechanic, having to remove it, here are the videos if you guys haven't seen it.
Seen this mentioned during a breakdown of the race from one of those funny moments videos.
That does seem to be a Max thing to do:
Run into a bird having it stuck in your brake/tire wheel and end up winning the race. Grin

It was very unfortunate for the bird to be hit by an F1 machine, and likely by Max Verstappen, surely it is unintentional for that to happen because the RB19 was super fast that a bird could evade it, and it was hilarious that the bird got stuck on the machine and the mechanic will surely have some trouble while taking it off, it was really hilarious,

Right now the next F1 Grand Prix will be the Austrian GP, and it will be on June 30 - July 02, it will be next week so I think moving on to the F1 Academy if anyone is interested, or if there are sports books available on Sportsbet or other gambling sites that will be great,

F1 Academy Netherlands Zandvoort

Free Practice 1 & 2 - Friday - June 23,  - 09:40-10:20 / 16:55-17:35

Qualifying 1 & 2 - Saturday - June 24,  - 08:00-08:15 / 08:20-08:35

Race 1 - Saturday - June 24,  - 17:25-17:55

Race 2 & 3 - Sunday - 08:40-09:00 / 17:25-17:55

Didn't know the F1 Academy were on this track before the F1 lads come to lay down asphalt the first of July. Cool
Interesting and they probably scheduled it this way so to bring more attention to the ladies and to have the F1 fans know that this academy racing actually do exist.
As for the markets availability for women F1 driving, I did a search on the bookmakers that I am on and didn't see it available on any of them.
Maybe they should consider it since the WNBA is a good alternative when the NBA is on the offseason so to watch and place bets on for those who need their sportsbetting fix during the dog days of summer!
1251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night & Main Event: Sportsbet.io Predictions & discussion on: June 19, 2023, 12:52:04 PM
Now I remember seeing this fight night being featured with Josh Emmett and Ilia Topuria advertised months ago.
Thanks for reminding me which of the main event bout was cancelled both @owengtam09 & @jakelyson !
No problem dude I was also really looking forward to that fight aswell and I was totally shocked that now it was the Jared Cannonier vs Marvin Vettori fight I was really surprised that the main event changed but still the next main event will be the Josh Emmett vs Ilia Topuria fight and on that side of the block I guess we also had some juicy fights aswell.
It wasn't necessarily cancelled but postponed and rescheduled according to this article I found posted yesterday:

source: https://www.sportskeeda.com/mma/ufc-fight-night-marvin-vettori-vs-jared-cannonier

Delaying it for the week after just makes it sound less like either fighter had to pull out due to injury. Thus the entire fight between these two would have to be cancelled and not rescheduled because then it would be at an unknown date at that point.

Whenever a big player who is cryptocurrency starts to say this technology is groundbreaking and will bring innovation into the environment. You probably could take a guess they must own a majority of tokens or has a stake into the company inorder to so called 'Pump their bags!' game they always seem to take advantage of in the cryptocurrency market.

I was really confident 9pandas would beat talon but they lost 2-0 instead including a big map 1 comeback, toer 1 dota can be really unpredictable.
@boltz i agree lgd are looking really good rn and i think they will win dreamleague now
Having better luck on valorant masters and i think the over play is too good on TL vs EG

https://sportsbet.io/sports/esports-betting
Just seen 9pandas win the map so to level it out 1-1 and moving on to the third and final map of this match.
As boltz has stated above they just might bring it all the way back so to secure this game for the victory.

I think I will put my bet on this match as by the looks of it, this just might be the most shadiest match of the series in favor of 9pandas.
The rig just might be in! Grin

To each their own as everybody has their own life to live the way they want too.
And if people like to so called waste their life in doing whatever it is they enjoy doing, so then be it.

In any case, we have a F1 race to enjoy and whether you can sit and watch the entire race or just wait til it is over than watch the highlights so to cut down on the waste of time it takes to actually watch the race,
I am certain if you are a true F1 fan or even starting out it will aim to not disappoint you today.

Have my entire winnings from the previous night on a Max Verstappen outright winning this Canadian Grand Prix.

Here are the current markets on this much anticipated event occurring roughly in about 4 hours from now.
https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/formula-1/formula-1/canadian-grand-prix-2023-race/canadian-grand-prix-2023-race-647ccce811281af2946e3b40

That is we don't have any weather issues before it begins.

Seems like Mercedes has a great upgrade this week, I wonder if it's a one lap success, like would work on Saturdays but not so much on Sundays, or if it is a race upgrade as well. Red Bull may not be the greatest Saturday car, but their domination during the race ins unbelievable, they keep it consistently close lap after lap, and I think it will become something important to know for Mercedes.

Hülkenberg had a bit of an advantage due to the weather and was able to use it well, if the race goes normally today I don't think he will have a chance for a good place. Mercedes is very strong, as you wrote, and yesterday morning I was even betting on a win for Hamilton and second Verstappen, so we'll see how the race goes.
Hulkenberg was given a penalty so he does not start in P2 anymore but in P5 which really sucks for Haas who thought they had their possible breakthru in this race to get a possible podium. But who are we kidding, they wouldn't of with Alonso and Hamilton doing as good as Verstappen in rain racing on this track. Where Perez, Sainz and Leclerc really suck if we do indeed see rain today.
1255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night & Main Event: Sportsbet.io Predictions & discussion on: June 18, 2023, 11:58:23 AM
Owengtam09 was correct. It was a night of the underdogs as it seemed the higher odds fighters won most of the night.

Glad I backed these to win last night as both my bets and several other parlays I had Jared Cannonier won!

It'd be great, but i'm skeptical. We didn't get one for the NFL Draft nor March Madness, as we had in past years, only wagering contests, iirc. We should keep our eyes peeled though, Sb has a knack for surprising us...

As for the Draft itself, Brandon Miller at No. 2 makes a lot of sense for the Hornets. Odds still pretty decent as Hornets need a forward, Miller is a better 3pt shooter than Scoot Henderson. I just don't see LaMelo and Scoot playing together, not a great backcourt fit imo.

------

Here's a Euro Q. winning ticket i had today. I hate parlaying together such low odds, glad it worked...  The Neths and Italy BTTS still playable at 1.70 (with a boost), guess that's my play for tomorrow. Oh and good luck to our Croatian forum members in the final. Spain looked shaky at the back in the semis.

I do imagine Croatia takes this semi-finals match against Spain today too.
https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/soccer/international/uefa-nations-league/croatia-v-spain-648b7ccefc02171d2d52f7aa

After my bet for F1 finishes up and if it isn't too late, will put those entire winnings on Croatia @3.85x
Or even if there is a Sportsbet Special for these semis in Nations League, will look for the highest odds and slam it on there.
1257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: June 17, 2023, 10:54:41 PM
Was definitely a chaotic race weekend starting from P1 all the way through to qualifying.
Sainz really doesn't like Alpine hey? Grin
First he blocks Gasly from getting through to the next round in qualifying as the principle said during the interview he could of made it through to the next round of qualifying and get to position 6 all because of Sainz slowing down into the turn.
https://racingnews365.com/furious-gasly-calls-for-sainz-ban-after-qualifying-near-miss

Then he literally stopped in the middle of the track while Ocon was passing so he didn't get to a higher position as he was heading to a possible position 2 or 3. Atleast passing Hulkenberg in the Haas which amazingly didn't get penalized for speeding past Piastri so to keep his position 2 on the grid for tomorrow's race.

Forecast is a chance of meatballs so expect all drivers to put on those wets.

Really hope you could get those underdog picks of yours but because you have mentioned that we surely got similar picks I think I will post my full picks for this event, and likely could eventually post it into Multi-Master later, so here are my full picks for the UFC Fight Night: Vettori vs. Cannonier
After looking at the odds right now it does look like I picked most of the underdogs to win on my betslip now. Grin
With the premlims starting with the first match in the next 15 minutes I can't see the lines changing anymore than they already have over the past few days. For instance, I had one of my biggest backing the underdog pick with Cannonier at 1.94x when I placed the bet but now he is around over 2.14x

Anyways, we will see how it all goes down in the next 4-6 hours from now. Hoping with the former since I yearn for alot of knockouts in this fight night!

Is anyone here betting for WNBA? After the NBA ends this is usually my go-to every year and my own way of support for the ladies. Some do say it's boring but for me, it's not. It's a good game as long as it's basketball.  Grin

Tomorrow there are two games coming up.

Washington Mystics versus Phoenix Mercury‍ - I will be betting for the Phoenix Mercury (11.5). Diana Taurasi will come back stronger after being defeated scoreless against the Seatle Storm. Brittney Griner is doubtful to play but I do believe they could at least cover the spread.

L.A. Sparks versus Minnesota Lynx‍ - L.A. Sparks (-5.5)

Markets are not yet available in Sportsbet, maybe in an hour or two it will come out. Good luck.

Since I don't really understand F1 very well, I can only follow the results, and it seems to me other than 1 race so far where starting grid is affecting, practice doesn't affect the overall podium chances. We have had upgrades before, we have had good performance in practice and still podium is more or less predictable. But you're right. Podium 2/3 is where we all hope for something different.
Actually, I am really new to the F1 race, I just get familiar with the Teams, Drivers, past and present updates, and race, right now every day is learning about F1 even the car mechanic and what car is the fastest could be determined with Practices, and qualifying, before the race, and for this I just tend to be updated with the latest news and even the past races can surely give you knowledge about the Track or Circuit changes and rebuild turn or curve, but there is no pressure to this it just adds up to the learning,

Well, Practice can pretty much determine the speed and the position a driver will likely have going to the Race, and to test a certain Track or Circuit and familiarize with it is a talent that some racers have and Max Verstappen has exceptional Skills like that,

Wow! Sebastian Vettel was young in that photo, even Fernando Alonzo is younger in the photo, such rare sight, and actually, I really don't know Felipe Massa but I look into it and he retired in 2016 end of the season, and he just like Massa, Mark Alan Webber also retired on 2016, the nice image I got to see the old photos and getting a glimpse of the past,

Well, if Slaman is not interested in browsing the old match in the F1 I suggest Watching the Documentaries of the past F1 races he can watch the Netflix series Formula 1: Drive to Survive episode series, if he likes it on a episode basis,
Here is a video review of how the past Canadian grand prix went and which ones are considered the best for this man-made track on the river:

The Greatest Canadian Grand Prix Ever
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UfG6H2eKdxs

Both 2007 & 2011 Canadian Grand Prix were referred to as the greatest races by Josh Revell the author of the video.
About Massa a viewer of the video above commented about him going against Kobayashi which looked to be a great dog fight on this wet track being so close to a major water way.
"An entire video could be made about Kobayashi vs Massa in that race. They fought each other for like 50 laps only for Massa to overtake him on the finish line (0.04s)"
