Juventus' winning odd is much higher than Napoli unlike my expectations. Because you know that Napoli have been in a very comfortable position for the league title now. After watching this horrendous match for Tottenham I don't give them any chance to finish the season in top four. That performance especially in the first 20 minutes of the match was terrible I mean.

Newcastle were playing like they had a very weak team against them in the match. Of course Tottenham were doing really bad in the recent times but not this much bad in the end. They can't have any explanation for this terrible performance in defense. Kane was the scorer of the only goal as usual and he must have been very angry at his team for this performance here. Newcastle and Manchester United are more deserving teams for top four at the moment. While there is a six-point gap with Tottenham they can both qualify for the Champions League.

It doesn't feel like there is any defense line that can stop Haaland at the moment. Bayern Munich had really young and skilled defenders like de Ligt and Upamecano for example.

But things went sideways a lot for them anyway. Especially Upamecano was a big disappointment for his team in both legs with bad defending. He isn't very experienced in this atmosphere maybe but he still could have played as good as de Ligt at least. There was an Alaba - Militao duo for Real Madrid in both matches against Chelsea. Maybe they finished the matchup by keeping a clean sheet. However Chelsea and Manchester City are totally different teams right now. I think this duo will have a really hard time defending Haaland. I expect Haaland to score in both matches against them and Manchester City to advance to the finale too.

I will try to follow the Brentford - Aston Villa match also. Because things are getting more serious for Aston Villa in the recent times as they are very close to the Europa League spot in the standings. Tottenham lost 7 points on last 4 match weeks and this helped Aston Villa very much. Aston Villa are really unstoppable lately. Since Emery's arrival at the team they have won 12 out of 18 league matches. This is a really huge effort for them considering that they were in a really poor condition before.

Emery effect can be seen against Brentford also tomorrow. They already destroyed Brentford once and they can win once again while Brentford are having a really bad time period in the league on the recent weeks - a winless streak.

Roma - Feyenoord was also a great match by the way. Roma's first goal was a really awkward one. I mean it was obviously not a throw-in before the goal. The goalkeeper clearly couldn't prevent the ball from getting past the line. But somehow the referee still said that the case was the opposite. Maybe Feyenoord weren't going to concede that goal if it weren't for that simple mistake by the referee.

Feyenoord's equalizer was like a good answer to that mistake and that made things really worrying for Roma suddenly. Paixao was so comfortable to score a header there because there wasn't anyone marking him at all. But Dybala had a really big contribution to Roma's advancing to the semi finals. First he scored the goal to prevent the match from ending without extra time. He was nearly even finishing the matchup already in the stoppage time. But that goal was really enough to wake them up. Roma were really impressive in extra time and finished it by 4-1.

Juventus managed to move Sporting out of their way in the Europa League and this is really valuable for them. Because positive things are happening for their side these days.

First their points deduction was gone and now this happens. These things should be able to add a really big amount of boost into their morale. From now on not only they have a chance for the Europa League title more but also they can qualify for the Champions League by finishing the season in top 4. Their performance against their recent two opponents was really horrible. But they should be improving their performance by the next league match as well. Besides this can even help them keep away some important players from leaving the team at the end of the season.

Manchester City are stronger than ever in this season and it is without doubt for me. Can one player leave this great effect on a team? Yes he really can especially if he is Erling Haaland.    I don't think Benzema can compete with him in a race for scoring the most in this matchup. I'm aware that Benzema is much more experienced. But I don't see him performing as good as in the previous season. If he had the same kind of performance now too then it would have been even more interesting. But Haaland is really unstoppable now and I expect him to score in even both matches.

Besides I will be hoping Manchester City to advance to the finale and win the title too this time. They definitely deserve it with this effort.

Maguire and Lindelof... The dream defense line.    Maguire didn't surprise me at all by making a mistake and causing Sevilla to score to get ahead early in the match already.

One of the most interesting matches of the new week is going to be Newcastle - Tottenham in my opinion.

Because this is a match directly related to the top 4 competition right now. Newcastle are in a much more advantageous situation right now. Because they are three points ahead with a missing match. Winning this match would be a huge leap forward for Newcastle to qualify for the Champions League groups. In their latest head-to-head Newcastle managed to defeat them away. According to the odds Newcastle are very highly favoured for winning this one also. After seeing Tottenham losing to Bournemouth home like that I think Newcastle can really win here.

Inter's performance level in the Champions League these days is proving a point here. They aren't bad actually. They are just not able to reflect the same performance on the Serie A matches recently.

Maybe after seeing that they have a really significant chance to even qualify for the finale they just wanted to push it to the limit in the Champions League. They are doing a pretty good work about that right now also. They are about to eliminate Benfica without having serious difficulties. But while doing this they had better not lose their complete focus on the Serie A. Because they are still out of top four area and this might cost them a Champions League ticket later on.

I think that the missed penalty by Kvaratskhelia in the 82nd minute was the breaking point for Napoli in the match. Because if he was able to score there then they would have plenty of time to go for the second goal to carry the match to extra time.
